I'll stick to strat games and you stick to your... whatever the heck that kind of game is :D My favourite multiplayer games are BF1942 and War in Russia, a TB strategy game that is so old, it runs with some difficulties in a dos window (it skips it's single channel intro tune when running in 32 bit mode) One for the twitchy moments, one for the thinking moments. Never managed to find a female opponent that was into either game (plenty of male opponents though).

Developer. Made a living one way or the other from software development since 1986. Doing mostly ERP systems and E-Commerce these days. Nothing glamorous, but it pays the bills and the hobbies

As if 3Dmax and Maya wasn't expensive enough (still using Maya learning edition). It might just be my imagination (I don';t have any numbers to back me up), but 3Dmax seems to be the preferred tools in the gaming industry and Maya the tool of the animated movies industry (like e.g. Pixar). Edit: Lightwave is sort of the ugly duckling. Not as popular as it's two cousins, but reputedly easier to use than both.

Weird, I thought most people in the US agreed that declaring war and fighting against the Japanese was the right thing to do. When Germany and Italy declared war in the US, it didn't really matter that much what the general concensus in the US was, others had already made the decision for them Of course, the Russians then went on to beat the crap out of the Germans and the Japanese armies in eastern asia (Manchuria) and do the majority of the bleeding and dying. They still left quite a lot of Japanese, a few germans and a handful of Italians to fight though...
