Please make KOTOR 2 more stable
I found Kotor to be relatively stable. It only crashes for me in two places (and thats reproducible ), at two cutscenes on board the Leviathan. Apparantly it didn't like either the hires textures or the 1280x1024 resolution. Not sure if it was one or both, bot changing to low resolution when starting the cutscenes did the trick.

Wish me luck
Even if you don't get to teach 19-21 swedish girls french something, good luck anyway (you old tree-hugger)

*SPLIT: A better box, full of goodies
Besides my native danish, I speak german, some english and could probably survive in a french speaking environment. Always wanted to learn another language, but couldn't really decide between italian and spanish...

Battle of the Mythologies
Ahem, Thor doesn't have a horse, Odin has a horse, with 8 legs. I believe Thor has a goat if memory serves me correctly. Actually, Thor spent too much time with Loki. Odins horse has been reported missing from the stable... Besides, he has an attractive wife, he doesn't really need the goats.

Re-makes of the greats
I'm a late comer to pc gaming, so my list would probably be a zillion old 8-bit titles... Some all time favs: Lords of Midnight/Doomdarks Revenge, the best turnbased strategy/rpg mix ever. Has actually been remade in a great pc version. I'm still beating the crap out of it Forbidden Forest, the best survival/horror game ever. Resident evil go home. This game still gives me goosebumps when reaching the final stage... Ultima I-IV, doesn't need a lot of explanation Fort Apocalypse, outstanding action game. Can anybody spell claustrophobic ? Trying to navigate your chopper above and below ground, dodging flak and missiles. Had that magic mix of being frantic without being unplayable Seven cities of gold/Heart of Africa, from back when EA releases were looked forward to. Elite, the first real space exploration/trading game. Originally released on the Acorn BBC computer. The first game that gave me a feeling of total freedom, where do you wan't to try your luck today ? Boulderdash, I'll be damned if you can't find a handful of cheap clones somewhere out there, I just never did, the idea is so simple... Lets see, that was a small handful from my wishlist of remakes, only a few hundred more to go Bah, who cares. Most of these titles are from before half of the board members were born...

Samurai RPG
My not so secret wish is an ancient american setting, but after that, anything that does not involve elves or magic will be a welcome theme. Feudal Japan, Ehh... all I know about that is from old Kurosawa movies (that guy is a genius). *Raise hand in support* Yup, sounds like a good idea! B)

HEY GUYS! NEW ICEWIND DALE LOOT
What www.obsidianent.com ??? Just kidding. Been there like 3 times since new year. That dried blood clot was very uninspiring, so never really saw a reason to go back to that page. Yes, Miss U's enthusiastic news announcements were always interesting

New Developers?
Now now, I am sure the excellent artists of Obsidian can make 2D crates almost as pretty as 3D ones. Don't give up! Don't step into the light!! You think crates should only be rendered in isometric perspective ? Think about the possibilities of 3D rendered crates. The game universe seen from a first-person crate perspective played out in real-time!

Breast implants for Army recruits
Not living in the US, I must say, I find some of these things slightly amusing. Military institutions (all over the world) often have to compete with their civilian equivalents for the talents available, especially if we are talking skilled workers. Air force pilots gets tempted by civilian airlines, army engineers by civilian companies, naval officers by corporate shipping lines etc. Some of the things the military has to offer is either better benefits, citizenship, pensions, access to education/college for yourself or your kids, whatever. Apparantly bodily modifications have been added to the list. Big deal. Who knows, perhaps the US army needed a facelift in general ? B)

Breast implants for Army recruits
Now, if they were to offer Fallout 2 style combat implants... then it would make sense

Breast implants for Army recruits
It could also be, that they were running out of "volunteers" for new surgeons to practise their skills on... Perhaps we should suggest this perk to Bethesda ?

Family Business
If this is the very oldest (don't know if it's true or not) off-topic thread, it sort of deserves to be kept alive doesn't it ? Perhaps Obsidian should have a museum section for old threads that are worth preserving for posterity...

Bragging rights
Somehow I get the feeling that more swedes (well, those from Skaane anyway) would migrate to DK than the other way around, for that reason alone... The grass is greener etc.

Bragging rights
This thread is funny It started out being uninteresting, since neither my native nor my current country is on the list Then it became interesting as I gained a bit of insight into living conditions of indian nations in the US Then it became ridiculous as the bashing started Then it became hilarious as the bashing improved Oh, and for whom it might interest: The internet was a military invention that was "commercialised" in the US The www was invented by a british guy and put into the "public domain" (the guy still sits in the W3C) The UN was a US invention (of all things) after WWII, meant as a replacement for it's predecessor organsiation (sorry, the name eludes me currently) which again was founded after WWI (Note: They didn't do it alone, but they were the most active, pushing for getting it established). As a native Dane, I would think it's definitely time to start bashing the Swedes and the Norwegians to put them in their place
