I feel for you Azure79. Happened to my parents car quite a few years ago. Although the lowlifes didn't get anything for their efforts, the advertising that claimed it was hard to steal was right. The dash board (or should I say smash board) was in a pretty bad shape, but the car stereo had refused to budge. I don't get it though, how much can a violently removed car stereo be worth to anyone? You would think it would be easier to put the same effort into a regular job.

Try the local chicken vindaloo when you get there. Stay away from the traffic in New Delhi. Don't take the train. An elephant has right of way. Stay safe

In case you haven't, try and see if you can find the original chaos rule books in one of those old second hand book stores. "Slaves to Darkness" deals with the aspects of Khorne and Slaanesh, whereas "The Lost and the Damned" deals with the other two opposites Nurgle and Tzeentch. Both are hefty 100+ page hard cover books with plenty of background fluff, from the nature of the warp (which is not unlike the planescape universe where belief can dictate matter) to the creation of the human emperor and why he was created. The Necron rulebook also provides a lot of good background material as to why and how the chaos gods were created in the struggle between the C'than/Necrontyr and "The Old Ones" Edit: Sloppy spelling

I can't quite figure that one out either. Once, I had severe lag and stuttering on Dantooine (the grassy plains) and the Habitat part of Telos station. Installing the game a year later, it was gone and ran smoothly. The only change I can imagine is, that my drivers got updated in the meantime (the old drivers was probably 3 years old at the time, yes, shame on me). The only place(s) where it stutters now are on Nar Shaddaa, in each of the places where the "swoop bike" can appear when you have fixed it and can move around with it. As if the area trigger somehow goes haywire and does some crazy checking when you get it in sight.

What are your sources GDM, because frankly, your utter and complete unwillingness to accept that there may be more to an issue than your own (very) narrow perspective is scary. The second half of that post is quite well documented by just about anything (except perhaps Fox News). Try looking through things from BBC to Israeli news archives and your worldview might suffer irrepairable damage. -
As so many other things in this game, there isn't really a "right" or a "wrong". It would feel more natural for a light side jedi to do nice stuff and support the republic though. Alternatively, if you want to score some dark side points, you can give them to the trader and the woman with the crystal. If I remember correctly, the crystal is only of use for dark siders though.

It is one of those rulings that has a distinct odour to it... Judges voted 5-3 that they can't secede. The 5 votes were coincidentally the judges appointed by Abraham Lincoln. Go figure

Can we have at least a MotB spoiler section?

You can just add them again from your party selection screen (assuming you are talking about the mission on Citadel Station). I can't remember if you also need to talk to the Ithorian guy first, to formally finish the mission? -

With a bit of luck, you haven't sold all your Ion guns yet (aratech droid vapouriser and whatever they are called). Also, destroy droid jedi powers (or force lightning) makes life much easier. You might also appreciate the usually significant number of personal energy shields available in the game Before engaging droids, equip non jedi with weapons designed for droid killing (either made on the workbench, found or purchased). Activate personal shields (those that protect against energy), use things that boosts your speed (drugs or jedi powers), say some famous last words and charge them. Concentrate all your fire against one enemy at a time until he is dead, then concentrate on the next etc. The only place I found particularly hard, was the center of the ship with all the gun turrets. That is, until I realised I didn't have to go there before I picked up the exile

I just checked down at the local store. It won't be here until late October (24th iirc)

I feel like giving you a big hug (in a manly way, mind you) That was exactly what I needed. Now I might buy MoTB after all

They got fragged! Quite literally. Luring them out with a few salvos, I lead them back to other stalkers and when they were all crowding together at the fence, trying to get through the holes, I sacrificed a few of my holy handgrenades. It was quite funny actually, they actually tried to run away from the grenades, just to get caught in the covering fire of my "allies", promptly ducking and taking cover, still within the blast radius of the grenade. Sucks to be them I guess. Two grenades weakened the bandits enough to make them manageable. Dragging as much loot as possible back to the trader turned out to be a drag (pun unintended). Especially when trying to run across that radioactive stretch of railroad I seriously like a game where you can't carry 350kg of equipment and run at the same time. Requires a bit of re-adjustment for an old pack rat gamer

I would have thought so too. On the "strategic view" panel, there are two checkmarks, one for scroll when camera hits edge and one for turn when camera hits edge (which is what I assume is similar to the old top down control). I can't make the "turn" thing work. If I uncheck both, camera is dead when I hit the side of the screen with the pointer. If I check the "turn" option, the camera stays dead. If I check scroll (or both for that matter), the screen scrolls orthogonally. Needs more fiddling... as I said, quite possible that I am overlooking something obvious.

Arghh... my camera controls This is going to take some getting used to. How about third camera option: Keep the old controls? I am no big fan of having to use the scroll wheel as a push button when turning my camera around (top down mode). Maybe I am just missing something. Performance does seem better though, even after remembering to change the settings back to high Edit: The inventory changes seems nice. Haven't played enough to have an opinion yet though.

So, I bought this game a few days ago (Collectors edition), installed, patched etc. Much to my surprise it actually runs very well on my old computer, even on high settings. Maybe the NWN2 developers should take note Learned to dodge anomalies, kill enemies, mutants etc. Know most of the controls by now. I think I am in love with this game I've failed one mission so far (finding the fethin pseudodog tail). I took great pleasure in killing each and every dog I ran across, but none were the right kind. Ah well, can't win them all. After the second lost mission, I decided to replay that mission (I survived, but the other guys didn't). I got my ass handed to me royally, trying to help out Bes defending the garbage dump from bandits. A kindgdom for a flamethrower! Maybe it is time to break out the grenades, or is there a trick to completing this mission? I don't have any sniper rifles, so just picking them off in fast succession with headshots is not an option

Actually, there *are* places on Nar Shaddaa where the game won't let you swap party members in and out at will. If I remember correctly, Refugee sector is one of them. You need to walk back to the main "square", then you can swap party members and head back again. You will find the same thing happening on other planets when you get further away from the Ebon Hawk.

Finished my game of Kotor2. Besides my game of PS:T and getting to grips with the game mechanics of Europa Universalis III, I went and bought the collectors edition of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Played it for what, 30-60 minutes, solved my first few missions, made some Rubles, got myself a shiny little artifact, generally having great fun. I think I like this game. I had just been playing for a while, ended up being badly wounded, heading back to camp when I ran across an anomaly. That will teach me to save more often >_
