  1. Voted Mask of the Betrayer for both I still think I need to buy the Witcher some day though... I just need a bigger PC
  2. Lets ask a different question then: How is the owner whose house is being broken into supposed to know whether the intruders intends to harm him or not? Should he call out to them and ask if they intend to harm him? And if they say "Yes!" (very unlikely as they would probably harm him first and then answer questions afterwards) what then? And if they say "No!", are they to be believed, considering that they are already in the progress of harming somebody by violating their home? (no, I am not in favour of shooting people on sight, just curious about your answers)
  3. Ok, created an account and voted. I didn't seem to get any kind of confirmation that it acknowledged my vote though. Is this normal?
  4. Yeah right, anyone can claim that! ... Sorry to hear about the business deal Walsh. No new hardware for Christmas?

The history of Australian wine making is funny and sad at the same time. Two french prisoners of war was brought in to do something about the viticulture (being french, they sort of had to know something about wine, right?). It was such a dismal failure that the two guys got expelled from Australia. Just imagine how bad that wine must have been... being kicked out of a penal colony.
  6. Curse you. When I get to play Kotor2 again (hopefully with TSLRP), I will keep thinking Omni-Goo everytime I see components and chemicals...

no offence or anything, but every single australian wine i've tried so far has been terrible That is because you are a Kiwi. You are naturally biased against Australian wines and think NZ wines are the best in the world (for the record, I lived for some years in New Zealand, having tasted plenty of the local stuff there too). After the second bottle, they all taste good
  8. Euww... it want's me to register before it will let me vote

Had some interesting local food for our company Christmas function. The entree was crocodile and the main course was a mix of emu sausages, wallabies on skewers and kangaroo fillets. Washed down with a generous supply of Australien red wines...
  10. I wish I could find that game somewhere... even better if I could find that boxed set with F1, F2 and FoT that I keep hearing about. You can never have too many Fallout cd's Amazon.com isn't your friend? They usually have old games for sale there. I might just have a look. Normally I only think of that as the place I buy DVD movies. Time for a re-think

  14. In my case, it is company policy that it has to be enabled. Disabling it is not an option
  15. this may be an option you can set... i don't recall getting bugged every 5 minutes... vista or XP? taks It would sure be nice if that was possible In XP, it pops up every 5 minutes or so, with the Reboot Now button being the default and on top of any other active window you may currently be working in, stealing away focus from your current application (and usually results in accidental, immediate rebooting).
  16. That one has on at least two occasions cost me a lot of wasted work Sitting there, slaving away at the keyboard, stuff needs to get done before leaving for the airport... and the abominable thing of course defaults to "Reboot now" every time it messes around with what you are currently doing, so even an innocent hitting of the enter key while typing can cost you dearly.
  17. "Lords of Midnight" Best game ever! "Elite" would be a close second.
  18. Not giving any any presents, except to myself. Which incidentally also happens to be the only ones I get. I am such an Ebenezer Scrooge!

  21. So, he went on a killing spree because he failed to get a missionary position? Makes you wonder what kind of missionary he could have ended up being if he had passed the test. It would probably have involved a lot of fire and brimstone. Maybe he should have applied at Blackwaters instead?!?
  22. Precisely. It's not a glitch, it's a plot point. Yeah, you are even fighting the King of Shadows in the OC
  23. How can you say that? There is no such thing as too much Icewind Dale

Dan Abnett: "The Armour of Contempt" My favourite in the saga of Gaunts Ghosts so far. I mostly (when I eventually get the time) read Black Library books these days. A very mixed bag quality wise, some not being worth the paper they are printed on and some being very very good.
