  1. Still playing a bit of Microsoft Flight Simulator X every now and then. I managed to land an Airbus 321 without smashing it to pieces (yay!). Not even significant structural damage
  2. I don't know about the download version, but the retail/disk version came fully patched. You would assume that the download version does the same?
  3. Thanks Jinger, haven't heard those for a very long time
  4. Oh dear, sometimes it really feels like there is some kind of cosmic conspiracy going on, using every trick in the book to prevent you from reaching your goal. I hope you persevere Mkreku. I keep an old pc around, but nothing like that (although I still have my original Orchid 3Dfx card, I just can't make it work in XP)
  5. Sorry, I can only give the short answer (my memory is a bit fuzzy, it's been a long time). You get to ask about the fate of each individual party member and if I remember correctly, the answers depends on what you decided to do in the game. Did she also tell about the future of the major planets? Damn, that is really too long ago. Might just dust it off and play it again. ...was hoping for the TSLRP project to finish one of these years
  6. Thread pruned a teeny weeny bit. Lets keep the Aliens rumours in the Aliens Rumor Watch thread This is the depression thread
  7. The "man" has spoken Umm, how about getting back to Dragon Age?
  8. There is something completely disturbing about people having Zed as their avatars... Ancient evil comes back to wipe everyone out makes me all nostalgic for old sci-fi and horror movies from the late 60's to the late 70's
  9. That sounds like "Giants - Citizen Kabuto" I remember people saying nice things about the game itself at the time. Also some controversy about censorship.
  10. Thanks, I'll never look at Icewind Dale the same way again
  11. Yeah I know, don't judge a game by its screenshots, but it just looked "sterile" somehow. None of the charm of JA2. Does it even have destructable buildings? I fear we will never get a game like JA2 again
  12. Sorry Zoma, Funcroc beat you by about an hour
  13. Start of old thread End of old thread I've been "playing" a bit of Microsoft Flightsim X Deluxe lately. I can take off from the airport where I live, but I still have some trouble hitting the runway without disintegrating when getting back down again
  14. (in a panicked voice) "Game over man, game over!..." Continued here
  15. Next episode in the days of our lives
  16. These and many more questions may or may not be answered here Start of old thread End of old thread Just saw the news on the fires in Victoria. Scary and sad it is. The body count is currently at 35 and climbing
  17. Friends of mine measure 48 degrees in the town of Renmark the other day, it's a few hundred k's inland from here Here in Adelaide, it currently hovers a bit over, sometimes a bit below the 40 mark. Should get cooler from Sunday onwards though.
  18. Your Search-Fu needs more practise http://forums.obsidian.net/index.php?showtopic=49221 >_
  19. I remember the wargamers discussing back then whether or not it was possible to convert Warhammer into a computer setting. They can be just as passionate as computer gamers when their favourite franchises are involved In the end, Dark Omen put the (harshest) critics to shame by being a real little gem. Much better than Chaos Gate (a Warhammer 40k tactical combat game ala xcom) anyway.
  20. Reminds me of a friend of mine. He was madly in love with a married woman and indulged in all kinds of melancholy until the day she divorced her husband and moved in together with my friend. It lasted a short while, then it fell apart. The promises of the dream being more than reality could deliver. Morale of the story? None really.
  21. Thread pruned with blunt scissors, including whole and partial posts. No, I am not qoing to send a bunch of PM's, I am sure people know where it went wrong. Let's stick with the SoZ bugs (rhetorical question)?
  22. Setting must be plain weird. Thus I vote for Lexx rpg. Imagine this with Chris Avellone and George Ziets doing the writing. It will be epic. One of the few settings that would give you party members as quirky as the PS:T ones
  23. Indeed
  24. Nope, not the only one I will not let trivial things like facts and other peoples experiences interfere with my irrational hatred and condemnation for that sorry excuse for a Fallout wannabe
