French Gimp Online
Most of them seem plain silly, a few of them does make you raise an eyebrow "Transvestite Guitar Gang" "The Six Million Dollar Spelunking of the Third Reich" "Japanese Love 3000" "Emo Go-Kart Safari" "Undead Jackhammer Uncensored" ... Etc.

What D&D class are you?
You've read the Imperial Guardsmans Uplifiting Primer? I bought it one day to satisfy my curiosity. Makes me wonder if anybody ever made a real infantrymans 101. That new 4.0 edition sounds a bit... not sure what exactly. Cheap theatricals?

Rest in Peace, Natasha Richardson
Celebrities and skiing just doesn't mix apparantly Sonny Bono, Michael Kennedy and now Natasha Richardson. The first two were ambushed and killed by trees while skiing. Not sure what happened to the latter.

Games you never finished
Mostly the same here with a few exceptions. Nethack is a game I would love to finish, but I always end up killing my self in weird/wacky/hilarious ways. I just can't bring myself to play it "safely" I would love to finish Tombraider: Anniversary some day, just to convince myself that this pile of goo has some hidden, redeeming features somewhere. Zork III, just because. Trespasser, because I actually liked running around in that world, despite the awkward controls. Probably more lying around (not including stuff that I have no intention whatsoever of touching again).

What you did today
Men in black will come and pick you up in the middle of the night... We are just waiting for confirmation from above to remove all traces of a user once known as "Calax" Edit: Bought myself some TV furniture. Got tired of having it standing around on the floor. Stuff was heavy as . Managed to get bruises, scars and a strained shoulder which still can't be used for any lifting. It sure didn't look that heavy in the store

And you are completely unbiased listening to Herodots version of it? Your description of "Greek" doesn't really make sense when there was no "Greece". Some of the states may be governed the way you describe it, but Sparta sure wasn't

Alpha Protocol on GTTV next Friday
Still waiting for confirmation from a dev or funcroc. If the game is 'M' rated, it is not aimed at the 15 year olds anyway. I think they are aiming for a different group of people.

What D&D class are you?
"The darkness holds no terror for me, demon! I curse you now under the Sign of Ill Omen!" Warlocks channel arcane might wrested from primeval entities. They commune with infernal intelligences and fey spirits, scour enemies with potent blasts of eldritch power, and bedevil foes with hexing curses. Armed with esoteric secrets and dangerous lore, warlocks are clever and resourceful foes. However you came to your arcane knowledge, you need not accept the poor reputation warlocks sometimes endure. You could be a libram-toting scholar captivated by ominous lore, a foot-loose wanderer searching for elusive ultimate truths, a devil-touched hunter using infernal spells to eliminate evil, or even a black-clad mercenary who uses sinister trappings to discourage prying strangers and unwanted attention. On the other hand, you could be a true diabolist using your gifts to tyrannize the weak

Ouch! What game is that?

Movies you have seen recently
Saw Die Hard 4.0 Over the top, comic book realism, plot holes that could sink the titanic and enough cliches to build a wall of them from Adelaide to Melbourne (exaggerated for effect). Oh yeah, and an incredibly fun film to watch too

Sorry, I was off to a bad start on the new year too where germs are concerned.

What are you playing now?
The thing that bothers me most in ToB is the combat. The rest isn't so bad and it was nice getting an ending to the story. But the sheer feeling of inflation of values when peasants are armed with Pitchfork +3 and priceless gems are strewn about, it hurts the "immersion". Highlevel campaigning is just not my thing. Mask of the Betrayer suffers a bit from the same things despite having many other good features (IMNSHO).

Yahtzee reviews
I like his little "blurb" at the end... "It's a shame I'm not reviewing Killzone 'cos I'm trying to end up with a review for every letter in the alphabet and I haven't got a K yet" "I've got eight S's, stop making games beginning with S you ****s"

Ok, now my desktop won't boot to XP!
Isn't there some point in the "Repair" process where it offers you to log in and authenticate yourself? I seem to remember having used that to save documents from a disk with bad blocks. It sucks having to use the dos prompt though, navigating through C:\DOCU~1 etc.

What are you playing now?
Still playing BG2. Finished BG2 proper and brought my party into ToB. Sighing deeply I quit the game in disgust, since I just can't bring myself to play this ridiculous part of the game Examined some of my old games of Europa Universalis III. A fairly fresh game of playing Muscowy or an old game of being the Byzantine Empire. Funny situation in the latter... the Kingdom of Quebec is under pressure from the Empire of Haiti, being completely surrounded and outnumbered. Don't ask me how that came to be.

Does this remind you of something?
There was/is still a lot of those. About as entertaining as "infomercials" Zoids, Power Rangers, you name them. All aimed at disposable income. I did watch a lot of those old TV series on and off in my younger days, Knight Rider, Space 1999, MASH 4077, I dream of Jeannie, Blakes 7, Macgyver, The Avengers, The Persuaders plus a bunch of German stuff that is probably not known in English speaking countries.
