  1. The high pitched noise that prevents you from hearing what game he is a designer on?
  2. For the benefit of a couple of young men taking childish delight in discovering a new word: **** (twt) n. 1. Vulgar Slang The vulva. 2. Offensive & Vulgar Slang A woman or girl. The American Heritage
  3. Food for thought... I wonder if Morgoths cover doesn't capture the "essence" of the game better than the official box art
  4. Thread title changed and thread pruned a bit. Lets explore the depths of human depravity rather than an Englishmans play with obscure profanity?
  5. I like books as a way of passing time while flying. Both fiction and technical stuff will do
  6. Would this qualify as "cruel and unusual punishment" of forumites? I am not a fan of cut scenes, but then, despite all the info, the whispering and the guess work, I still don't know what kind of game really AP is. Sounds like it doesn't matter either as long as it is fun to play
  7. You should have asked them to embroider your initials on her head
  8. eh... i don't know. witcher had lots of little stuff that you collect that has some use, but ultimately is not a necessity. It seems to be at least somewhat influenced by your experience and choice of difficulty setting. If you need alchemy to survive, you better start using those hunter/gatherer instincs and collect every flower and herb along the way If you are good enough (or picked easy difficulty), you can mostly ignore the stuff you pick up, apart from particularly valuable hardware. Just to keep your cash flow in the black.
  9. The above post has Gorths Seal of Approval ® Awesome pictures (from both of you actually).
  10. You get tired of Lilarcor eventually, but for a while, he/it is an awesome seventh party member. Ex-Moonblade, yeah right! Whatever happened to games like that (rhetorical question)?
  11. No, it isn't useful. Actually, it is a dead end for your current game. Somebody once put out a fix for it, but it doesn't seem to be where I downloaded it in the past. Mind you, the fix needs to be in place before going to Telos. If you already encountered the cheat node, it does you no good.
  12. Hey, I thought it was a priority to keep the troops as safe as possible? What's next, forcing soldiers to wear a helmet is infringing on their personal freedom? Seriously, it is a business like any other. If the employer changes the terms, people can look for other jobs. I mean, it's not like people are forced at gunpoint to join the military (well, not anymore at least)? Or is the problem that Obamas administration is the one that decided to enforce a policy? I for one enjoy a smoke free environment
  13. Sounds like that is well deserved Heh, 499 piece puzzles... don't mention them
  14. Survived second day of training and passed the test. Got the paperwork that gives me a learners permit. I can now go shopping for a motor cycle >_
  15. Siegrid? Most likely a pun. I.e Sie, "She" in her native German, pronounced Z (in a North American accent iirc)
  16. Man, Hurlshot, you should charge all these voyeurs here money for being on the trip with you A great travelling journal
  17. Survived day 1 of motorcycle training. No bruises or broken bones. So far, so good.
  18. Not exactly plumber, but there are days where you wonder if doing what you do is worth it...

Guys, how about creating a new thread for comparison of different sports and let those who likes baseball have this thread?
  20. I've never played the computer version of The Settlers, but the board game is quite fun
  21. I can assure you that Aussie coffee is nothing to write home about. Significant amounts of Malt Whiskey and whipped cream are to be considered essential supplements
  22. If officially "sanctioned" by Microsoft as mirrors, I don't see a problem. I know companies sometimes outsource downloads to places like c/net etc. On the other hand, I know Microsoft has tightened up security a bit and generally won't let you download stuff without running the Genuine Windows Advantage ® thing.
  23. When I play the witcher, I can keep a cup of coffee warm on top of my cooling thingie next to my pc
  24. I find the concept of "minorities" discriminating. By even identifying people as belonging to a "minority", you are supporting the division of people and the associated attibuting of "values" to groups of people.
  25. Thread getting a bit long Continued here
