What are you playing now
Wonder if that's what everyone else is doing or if they'd rather be lost in the game instead of posting about it. From all of the pre-release talk, there seems to be nearly no one reporting back on how the game is. I bought it too. Sitting on my harddrive at home. I'm sitting at a hotel at night, working interstate with no access to my own computer. Ah well, later this week it's time to catch up again. Having a game of DA2 and IWD2 in progress and X-Com and Dishonoured waiting for me to finish those.

I love Cloth Maps but, frankly, the one being offered is terrible
My Britannia cloth map didn't look anything like that in 85 Meh, at least I got my own little plastic Ankh. Edit: Looks like part of the world got streamlined a bit for ease of use

Norway appoints Muslim woman Minister of Culture
Sometimes politicians have friends that needs portfolios, allies that needs a pat on the back but you don't trust them to handle something important and sometimes countries are just cultural fascists. Really, a number of reasons why you would have something like that

What are you playing now
I can't make up my mind either if I liked the first or the second one better. I might just have to play through both again some day and see if I can't get all the little hidden things.

Eric Fenstermaker is on Twitter
I think Funcroc scared him, because I could have sworn I saw the blog just after the link. Models and lot of texturing work.

Would you like it if more RPG quest logs/journals had a...
I would love a separate task list and journal. I hated not being able to use my journal to quickly search for clues (i.e. where to go next) in Baldurs Gate, but I loved the detailed descriptions. Recent games show it to you in bullet point, almost wikipedia like form which I don't like either. Some kind of compromise where you can add your own comments and select "headings" that marks "to do" type entries in a table of content for easy browsing (because I'm lazy like that).

Big City #2- 3.5mil. stretch goal
I miss the Underdark city from BG2. Doesn't have to be a replica, but there was something exciting about entering a place that felt completely "alien" to my characters previous travels and experiences. Maybe it was just the feeling of claustrophobia and being constantly watched by suspicious eyes, because my character definitely didn't "belong" there. I don't know. Loved that part of the game though.

Xcom
Ah what the heck... off to gamersgate (because it's way cheaper for aussies there than on steam) to buy it. Thanks

Xcom
Those who have finished it, how does it compare with the original xcom (ufo enemy unknown) when it comes to number and variety of enemies, research implementation, equipment manufacturing, types of missions etc.? I haven't managed to find a decent review yet that actually compares anything, just drooling and thinking it was "awesome" (and I wasn't impressed by the demo).

Question for the regulars here
Put up camp beside his bed and stay put until time us up. Blame Einstein and his stupid law of relativity, but that law is one of those things still needing to be bent a bit. Time lost doesn't come back. If you care about somebody, living or late, pay tribute any way you can

Mega Dungeon Level Ideas
You can't get more classical than killing rats in a dungeon.

Obsidian currently working on next-gen console title
Unannounced, huh? Can't exactly be Stick of Truth or Eternity then...

Big City #2- 3.5mil. stretch goal
I sort of envision the Obsidian guys sitting in a room with pen and paper, calculators and abacuses (sp?) to see what is possible and how much they can promise and still integrate into the existing stretch goals. Keeping in mind that each addition is not only a self contained "addition" but also increases the cost of everything previously committed to.

New Vegas, for my sins
I still need to play Lonesome Road, but between Dead Money and Honest Heart, I can't make up my mind which one is my favourite. Each brought something special to my "gaming experience".

Mega Dungeon Level Ideas
I still like my idea of a dedicated rat level. Rats of all types, from tiny rodents over were-rats to the huge rattosaurus. All wanting to sacrifice you to the Great Horned One at some rat god effigy.

What are you playing now
Still playing DA2. Still mostly enjoying it. Dealing with shady characters to raise a fortune to help out family members... why do I have a sense of deja-vu? At least she didn't introduce herself with "Heya, it's me Bethany!" when we fled Lothering Some of the inter companion dialogue is quite witty and well done

Next level is only 32 backers away... Let there be sub-terranean swamps!!! (Pretty please?)

POST YOUR SPECS
@Sensuki: I may not get the exact same (I have my "regular" online stores where I shop, so it sometimes depends on availability), but it looks good.

STEAM!
Yeah, Steam sales are a bit funny like that and this one is not a unique occurrence. Reminds of a return ticket I once bought from Copenhagen to London because it was half the price of a one-way ticket. Even if I never intended to use the return part. Go figure.

Not sure what you are seeing, but I see Game of Throne Bundle (Game of Thrones and A Game of Thrones Genesis) for $17.49? Edit: Bought the Risen 2 bundle yesterday for $25. I tried the demo and sort of liked it

I paid $100 for the mouse. I better treat it to a mouse pad with Jacuzzi and personal trainer.
