  1. Source Too bad.
  2. That's hardly recognition of her as a good character, though. You can easilly find characters with their own titles that range from Captain America to Barbie (published by Marvel, no less), and Spiderman to Forge. And Toad still sucks. At least they didn't think of Arcade.
  3. REM - Half a World Away
  4. I wonder how many Toad fans there really are.
  5. What's with trying to push second rate characters like Mystique and Toad into the game?
  6. Yeah, the thing. With the twist and the other stuff, right?
  7. That's not so much work as it is media-based terrorism against consumers in corporate-sponsored, legalized culture appropriation. They just try to sell you reasons for you to buy a product which they also conveniently manage to be promoting. Not that culture jammers are any better, though. I have no idea what I just said but there, I said it.
  8. Marketing people work?
  9. Whoa. How did you found that page? Thanks. I also had made some searches for Magritte as well but they turned up pretty fruitless. I'll try some more. Thanks once again.

  11. That obscure, hun?

  13. Ahem.
  14. Gimme my stick, man. Just gimme my stick and I'll show them.

  16. Besides, we're all going to die anyway so better to just take a piss on the world while we're waiting for that.
  17. I had checked it up before but had forgotten about it. Some of the things that happened on my birthday: 1605 - Gunpoder Plot: A plot by Guy Fawkes to blow up the English Houses of Parliament is foiled when Sir Thomas Knyvet, a justice of the peace, finds Fawkes in a cellar below the Parliament building. (V for Vendetta for life!) 1872 - Women's suffrage: In defiance of the law, suffragist Susan B. Anthony votes for the first time, and is later fined $100. 1895 - George B. Selden is granted the first U.S. patent for an automobile. 1935 - Parker Brothers releases the board game Monopoly. 1937 - World War II: Adolf Hitler holds a secret meeting and states his plans for acquiring "living space" for the German people.
  18. Further proof I suck. Thanks!
  19. With only a couple of minor quibbles, Batman Begins was damn good.
  20. Well, Burton's vision managed to not fall into the campy tones of Joel Schumacher's Batman movies, or the '66 Batman movie with Adam West. For the most part, I've always enjoyed Burton's stylized, quirky settings though I understand some of the criticism (mainly the usual comic to movie adaptations that always occur). The villains he recreated had some noticeable differences but I was already expecting him to twist them somehow. Personally I found them more likeable than Joel's attempts at villains.
