  1. Diablo, being basically a roguelike, has more in common with RPGs than Fable, which in turn has more in common with action/adventure titles like Zelda.
  2. It's a terrible RPG... But a very fun hack'n'slash game, nonetheless.
  3. Except Fallout 3 which will feature state of the art ghoul erosion and talking, Radiant Deathclaws.
  4. D. W. Bradley's credibility wasn't that high to being with, but I suspect it was virtually destroyed during Dungeon Lord's development. Something about a developer claiming to want to remove the repetitive combat found in action RPGs by implementing repetitive combat found in action RPGs is too much of a hint that he doesn't know what he's doing.
  5. ToEE's weren't that good either, with many data entry errors finding their way into the original release at least. The best aspect of the rules it got was the combat.
  6. The ones that weren't botched, anyway.
  7. So cold, cold and dark. It goes on forever.
  8. The Gameboy Player Pak and a 64 MB Memory Card are already ordered as well. I had to order this from Amazon.co.uk, because here pretty much every major videogame store has stopped carrying Gamecube accessories... Ever since a year and a half ago.
  9. If the 'C' is short for Crap, then I agree.
  10. The fanbase was there. There were definetely several modding groups and projects at the time, but they eventually withered. Online play was also strong for a brief period, then also waned. Much like Neverwinter Nights the main portion of the game was passable but players tried to extend its longevity by using the toolset and playing online. The lack of a meaningful fanbase was not exclusively due to the main game's low points. Sure, generic and uninspired gameplay helped, but so did the game's attempt to be a varied package, and it having better competition (not necessarily genrewise).
  11. That'd I'd pay to play. Likewise, I'd pay to play a FASA-based world which combined Shadowrun and Earthdawn, and any other related worlds.
  12. Vampire: Redemption met with failure for being what Neverwinter Nights was but without the extensive technical support and the supportive fanbase. I'm not sure there's the possibility of a sequel to Bloodlines still set in the Bloodlines mythos. Likely, it would be set in the Requiem era.
  13. I'll cut out everyone's work by posting the following: Anything done by Bioware. Anything done by Troika. Anything done by Bethesda. Anything done by Squarenix. Anything done by Obsidian. Anything and everything. Thank you and goodnight.
  14. Very true mkreku, RE4 does seem like a winner. While I'm generally not much of a fan of the series' take on horror, I will definetely get it.
  15. Yes, back in the day. Mostly women, a boy or two, the usual.
  16. Super Turrican 2!
  17. Thanks for the suggestions, appreciate it By the way, isn't Twin Snakes the remake of the original Metal Gear Solid? Just curious. Resident Evil 4 also seems to be fine, Darque
  18. Thanks for the suggestion Speaking of which does anyone have any other suggestions for the Cube? Up until now it's: Metroid Prime Wind Waker Killer 7 I'm also thinking of getting the Ocarina of Time GC version, Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, and Fire Emblem somewhere down along the road. Speaking of which, anyone played Animal Crossing? That seems like a fun title.
  19. Guess it's the way I'm wired but I still can remember quite a few of the game's music.
  20. Great ambient music, sometimes chilling and spooky. Mark Morgan is the one to blame for the great score Fallout had.
  21. This has been what I have wished for as the next step in the GTA series, or mainly as a CRPG model in the future.
  22. Quoted for great truth. I rarely go there anymore but when I do its either to a) bother Gaider, b) because I saw something relating to Bioware over at the Codex and decided to comment on their boards, and c) see the result of widespread contamination of the gene pool.
