  1. That'd I'd pay to play. Likewise, I'd pay to play a FASA-based world which combined Shadowrun and Earthdawn, and any other related worlds.
  2. Vampire: Redemption met with failure for being what Neverwinter Nights was but without the extensive technical support and the supportive fanbase. I'm not sure there's the possibility of a sequel to Bloodlines still set in the Bloodlines mythos. Likely, it would be set in the Requiem era.
  3. I'll cut out everyone's work by posting the following: Anything done by Bioware. Anything done by Troika. Anything done by Bethesda. Anything done by Squarenix. Anything done by Obsidian. Anything and everything. Thank you and goodnight.
  4. Very true mkreku, RE4 does seem like a winner. While I'm generally not much of a fan of the series' take on horror, I will definetely get it.
  5. Yes, back in the day. Mostly women, a boy or two, the usual.
  6. Super Turrican 2!
  7. Thanks for the suggestions, appreciate it By the way, isn't Twin Snakes the remake of the original Metal Gear Solid? Just curious. Resident Evil 4 also seems to be fine, Darque
  8. Thanks for the suggestion Speaking of which does anyone have any other suggestions for the Cube? Up until now it's: Metroid Prime Wind Waker Killer 7 I'm also thinking of getting the Ocarina of Time GC version, Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, and Fire Emblem somewhere down along the road. Speaking of which, anyone played Animal Crossing? That seems like a fun title.
  9. Guess it's the way I'm wired but I still can remember quite a few of the game's music.
  10. Great ambient music, sometimes chilling and spooky. Mark Morgan is the one to blame for the great score Fallout had.
  11. This has been what I have wished for as the next step in the GTA series, or mainly as a CRPG model in the future.
  12. Quoted for great truth. I rarely go there anymore but when I do its either to a) bother Gaider, b) because I saw something relating to Bioware over at the Codex and decided to comment on their boards, and c) see the result of widespread contamination of the gene pool.
  13. Yes, I have heard of that. But the reasons I chose to go for a Gamecube now are basically: 1) I haven't heard anything about a possible ability to play GBA titles via an add-on; 2) The price will likely be too high for me once it comes out; 3) I'd rather not wait until then to play some Gamecube titles which might be harder to get then; 4) Even if I do get a Revolution, I can always then sell the Cube (although I only see myself doing this if the GBA functionality is still there).
  14. And just ordered a Gamecube. I'm also looking into getting a GB Player unit so I can play Gameboy Advance titles on the Cube, and am already browsing for games. Top priorities for now are Metroid Prime and Wind Waker. For some reason I feel dirty. But I suspect it won't matter in some months from now.
  15. Shadowrun FPS so I can have something to bitch about.
  16. No compromises. Not even in Armageddon.
  17. Being away from the general gist of consoles for so long left me unable to answer this doubt. I've heard of something called a Gameboy Player for the Gamecube, which I assume lets me play Gameboy Advance games on the GCB. Let's assume I have a Nintendo Gamecube with a GB Player. Now, is the add-on limited to play versions from a given region such as the main console? I know there are incompatibility issues between games from different regions in regards to standard consoles, but that its absent from portable consoles... Would the same happen with the add-on, a USA GBA game and an European console? Thnx in advance.
  18. Super Castlevania 4 Super Contra Spirits Super Metroid Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island Seiken Densetsu 3 (search for Neil Corlett's translation) Batman Returns Rockman and Forte (Megaman and Bass; again, search for a translation) Romancing Saga 3 Chrono Trigger TMNT: Turtles in Time Zelda: A Link to the Past EVO: Search for Eden Final Fantasy VI Front Mission: Gun Hazard (another one you should look for a translation but its worth it) Assault Suits Valken (aka Cybernator) - (while its already available in English I suggest searching for the original Japanese rom and the Aeon Genesis translation) Wonder Project J (translated version at the Underdogs site in the Console/Non-PC uncderdogs) Actraiser 2 (hard-as-hell) The Adventures of Batman and Robin UN Squadron Demon's Crest (somewhat hard as well) Equinox The Firemen Any Parodius title (Konami parodi of their games) Uncharted Waters Ogre Battle / Tactics Ogre Pilotwings Pocky and Rocky 2 Prince of Persia R-Type 3: The Third Lightning Star Fox
  19. If the wait hasn't killed you already.
  20. But that wouldn't make people feel special!!!
  21. If you don't want to play as a Jedi! Then equip yourself with HEAVY ARMOR and only select Force powers which are restricted by Armor! Then you are no longer Jedi. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> What he wants is the ability to play as distinct character archetypes rather than being forced to play as a Jedi, not overcome design limitations with parlor tricks. In a setting as vast as Star Wars, its an understandable wish although I doubt it'll ever come to that as long as the license is treated as another way to satisfy male adolescent fantasies.
  22. I enjoyed them both. Akira mostly, because I played little of Silent Hill, although what I managed to play was great. I've been meaning to get the PC ports but my PC is still mostly crippled gamewise.
