There is a very simple reason for books and movies contradicting each other, its because George Lucas given license share to certain company to make products and such and aka he doesnt care what they make, he views the starwars movies as his vision of starwars and everything else is not the correct version, but he doesnt wish to check everything through to see if they make product exactly according to his version in some level i9 can understand the man he been bascially working his behinds off for years for many of ous greedy starwars fans, and most are still on grateful or have some for of unforfillment as to how they viewed the universe, if you seen any of the hardcore critic fans that view starwars as some kind of holy relic i feel sorry for the poor man to have to put up with that with a smile everyday. EDIT: Some peoples next question would properly be why would he then give permission for product to be made the doesnt feel he has time or energy or simple dont want to check to the letter, that has a every simple answer again for the fans because the movie productions cost a very fair bit of money if it has to be up technologically to date with the current movie productions, its why you often see George Lucas encourage people to buy alot to give resources to make film productions.

Its not evil in the term of universal evil then the person has to morally know its wrong i guess that why psykatrist often called in to anolyse a criminal person to clarify if the person knew they were at sense and knew what they were doing and intended to do it. But there are cultural views on evil and indifferences in people aswell, in some of the places we call uncivilized there still tribe that kill people and eat people they believe is pratictising magic, and i dont believe they view themselves as evil, other countries like ours may possible do that but then its would be a cultural view on evil wouldnt it? In the letter of the word evil a person would have to know inside themselves they doing something morally wrong if not they not evil, they may be a several amount of other things in your society, possible viewed as criminal insane or things like that but not evil. Here another famous example back in the old days science that wasent coexistent with Christianity was viewed as a crime and possible heresy. But today we feel no way near the same way. If we go back to stone age i am pretty sure there were alot things we view as evil now that werent back then, which Aka means that alot of the evil is cultural belief and things we change throughout history. Greed always been a society sickness does it make all people evil? honestly can you say you couldnt relive something off your pockets to somebody less fortunate, if you consciencely know there people out there starving and you could afford to help them and had extra, wouldnt that make you greedy aswell, not to help when you have more than them does that mean our whole society is evil? Greed if i am not wrong is keeping more to yourself than you actually need while other have less right?

Ive studied a bit as of late since we had a debate about if or not evil character were able of love, on a bioware discussion so i looked up the universal word for evil, and in the encyclepedia it state for a act to be evil the person has to morally know that it is wrong, which in a large view would render most Sith most non evil since they to not view themselves as evil, so in their moral sense they doing what they believe is right, as for insane maybe in our sense of moral or justice, but evil no, so i suppose in their cultural belief they doing what they view as best for the universe. I still believe that for every action you could find claiming a good one there a opposite that would contradict it aswell, if there werent there wouldnt be as much conflict of opions and wars and misery as we often see in news everyday. I am sure i could find as many examples of DS being a hero in the end as LS cases, simply because morals can always hit grey zones where nothing is either good or evil but merely a mean to provide a greater good of the whole. If you dont believe me then let me ask you holding to ropes at a cliff side where you know eventually you can only save one would you save a person you viewed as good or a evil person that held information you knew 10 people would die less you got. In the grey if you choose to save who you viewed as evil in hopes he would let you save the 10 others, youd have to let a innocent(good die), there no absolute that the evil person would even help you if you helped him but would you try save the 10 or settle for saving one good? Theres a boat you out on a cruise and there no land anywhere near, you boat break but there only a means survival for one would you collectively decide to die together or pick one out, id imagine most good people would insist they stayed butt in the end would you be able as good person to leave anyone behind to save yourself or would you all decide to die together, if you did would the world as a whole better off with the one less person that could actually made it away alive? If you and a best friend were on a road trip but got trapped without food or any means for food and you know if one of you laid down your life for the other to live from consuming well you get the picture, would you be able to let you best friend make the offer or would he/she let you make the offer or if both could because of moral or ethic not do it would the world be a better place because none of you could make the decision to let the other life? My point is true evil people to things for themselves only but often good people cant allow a evil act in order to let other survive so in general they both can contribute to loss/evil and both can willing or unwilling constribute to good, of any person to presume they can judge whats good and what not would be making themselves gods because they can possible know that the choice they made wouldnt have stopped a greater good from happening, but hey we can always say we acted in what we believed to be the greater good, so does many war criminals insist on saying does that make it right? If you decided to judge a person for murder and sentence him to death you would do what you moral and coinscience would tell you to do given your "good", but you cant possible know the future only gods can given they exist, there no saying that a epidemic couldnt break out and kill 100000people or more and that the man you just killed couldnt have had the cure to in his blood to save them sure its likely he wouldnt have it but could you be 100% sure? So are you a greater being of good to make that choice do you have the right to make it? What good what is dark and what isnt grey? I wont argue i am right but nor would i ever claim to know that there a greater truth to what evil and what not, sure one can claim indivudual case for each person but you cant possible be certain that they wouldnt contribute to a greater good some point in their life willing or unwilling, and sure as race we have developed moral compass but still i believe there no general in life you cant generalise things. Good has what ever way you look at it constributed as much misery as evil has, sure on can argue its the way it was done that matter but then its a moral opion is it not?

You're essentially asking what's so bad with fear, anger, hate and greed. One of the most simple answers would be, that such emotions causes us to be clouded by our own illusions. On the other hand though - compassion, benevolance and forgivness without true purpose is just as dangerous - but that's why the road to Hell is indeed paved with good intensions. Think looking at the larger picture i think as many died from being beneviolent as not, because the universe consist of both you cant always put ourself in one box if you do youll lose your ability to survive. If some big clasmem happened in the world that erupted everything we know how many do you think would die as it happen and how many after? i bet there would die alot first when it happen and proably 1/3 later simply because they do not know how to survive on their own because they dependent on structures and the society around them. What we view as evil is mostly just natures own way of balancing things, if people never died in this world the world would be over crowded and people would die from starvation or being forced to live in certain exposed area of danger from naturals castrophes. I bet ya if all diseases and all violence in this world was gone tomorrow youd see the world over crowded in 10years from now simply because without hardship in the world we would produce as rabit because there would be nothing to give ous second thoughts. Things that *evil* are meant to stabilize as a opposite to *good* to make things able to coexist, and prevent races from going extinct.

Not really Padme is his life more or less and i dont think he can even see himself living without her, and he sincerely believes as far as i can tell that if he can learn Darth plagius power over life and death he can save her, and prevent himself from losing her as he did with his mother, so i suppose guilt and obsession can make even the most noble people do unforgivable things. Well if he hadent become Darth vader there wouldnt be balance in the force would there, obvious reason that he had to join the darkside must have been that many of the jedi were becoming dark sided aswell, if some of the jedi dident have to die for balance the prophecy would have let it end when windu mace and palpatine fought agianst each other, be clearly the jedi were becoming as corrupt as the sith. Example: Windu mace wanted to kill palpatine, which was agianst the jedi code, he would likely have tried to take control over the senate after aswell if or not it be motivated by good or evil it would eventually been the same as the sith just another version of it. Think if you had killed anakin as a child there would have been balance because then all jedi would have been wiped out and only Sith been left, only reason palpatine allowed himself to be noticed was because he wanted anakin to be his apprentice, clearly everything he did to get anakin in the same room as him and windu mace was staged and planned well and throughly. Dont think had anakin not held so much interest to him the jedi would never know what hit them before it all would be over.

Force lightning was what skilled his life support system when he was throwing palpatine down and died shortly after talking with luke skywalker, using force lightning he would likely kill himself, if you think logically about it when lightning strikes near ones house the electricity inside he house can occasionally have a few seconds blackout, i and pretty sure force lightning would be a good thing for Vader given his state. Had his body not been so severly damage during his fight with kenobi he would probaly be using force lightning to.

So lets say madelorian wars was maybe 5years and jedi civil war 5years or what was it and if a some years added to it you have a child full grown around 18-20years

From what i understand george lucas wanna make a sitcom tvseries surrounding the period after the skywalker era or something, and someone else is gonna be making starwars 7+, but since there already made scripts for the 7+ i suppose it wouldnt be that hard either to let another do it, aslong as its one you trust to fullfill your vision of starwars.

More anti liniar gaming, with less direction more contents in general and choices possible to make, in other worlds more dynamic games, that can be replayed and have fun with more than 2 times. I must admit for a long time now i had hoped it would come with mmorpgs but really not much out there that isnt a fixed storyline with a mass crowding herd leading to somewhere. Its mostly what i miss since pen and paper adventures stopped for me, its much in gaming industry is focused on a specific story and around the story, rather than the players, at least it how it often feels, i always respected Obsidian for giving alot of options in their games, however i still feel its possible to make things even better, but sadly i doubt theres a big enough marked for it now a days seeing as everything is turning mainstream not matter what it is... Well, said is about all i can say, most large companies now a day milk the marked of everything that has soul or visionary views, its honestly sad to see, i like obsidian for still making games with soul and rather than to liniar games like other large industries does, still think its possible to do it even better than obsidian currently does but i cant say it disappointing.

Make a new series surrounding the split that started it all and created the war within the force, think it could been interesting theme and think most of always wanted to know more about how the conflict first started, at least i know i do, so far i only ran across a few shorts notes of history here and there...

It be very complex to make scripts fit having both show in a 3, alone Kotor 2 had several ending possibilities, you could blow up planent, stay and start a school again for darksiders as i recall, blow up planet and go seek out revan, go back to exile again... It is a bit much to demand from developers i think but thats just my opion.

Well both things need to exist for any order to co exist. We can survive without being hardened at times otherwise our sense and means for purpose goes numb, and what is good or evil? Take this for example: A human is hungry he finds a deer seeing it wounded and figuring it has not much chance for survival he chooses to eat it. Another human find a wounded deer but even in his dire hunger he decides to help it takes it with him mends it everyday getting more attached to it, till finally it is well and his consiscense tells he cant deny it freedom and decide even as attached as he is to it, to give it back freedom and lets it loose. The animal has grown accustomed to peaceful sorrounding living secure without hardship and it runs off and falls at the hands on a wolf without its gaurds open to danger. Now really is there any difference between over caring or not? I dont think anything can be deemed more evil or good than the other, nature is both harshness and beauty both are part of the world if or not we choose to see it.

Ehm, I'm quite inclined to believe that the Jedi played another Hide 'n seek game like they did after the Jedi Civil War (see KOTOR 2). There were more jedi in the galaxy than just two or three. Many were in hiding, even other knights/master than just Obi-wan Kenobi. To see it from Master Kavar's point of view, which I like to do every now and then, is that "The dark side can never truly be defeated, it is always there inside us". So either if the Jedi would've done their best to destroy the Sith once and for all, or the other way around...a new generation brings a new seed of potential sith and jedi. Hence why talking about destroying the Sith Order or the Jedi Order is more or less - useless. As for Anakin. It is true that Anakin has a good story revolving around him and his own life is quite a ...story..if not a mess. If you ask me the first 3 episodes (I, II, III) were horrible in many ways. I don't know what flew into Lucas when he made that sissy girl of an actor into Anakin Skywalker. What, he took him because of his 'good looks'? His acting was horrible, his lines were even worse. The only two who were worthy of playing their roles were Obi-wan and Yoda...although Yoda was a digital animation instead of the old fashioned doll So all in all - Anakin is the chosen one, Lucas said so.
