I bet it will only be developers at the GDC this week. That's likely why they are writing the piece.

I hate keywords, especially if I have to type them in. I don't think it takes away from character development, but it certainly doesn't add to it. I like having a variety of lines to choose from, because I'm not that creative. It's easy character development, just follow the tone you want and allow professional writers to make you sound witty.

The make-up is pretty impressive though.

I should be picking it up today. I've got a few games set aside to help cover the costs (as trade-ins). I'm not terribly excited because with my schedule, I won't be able to play it much until April.

From Hell with Johnny Depp? I remember liking it. It was pretty dark.

I just got one two weeks ago, so don't bother listening to all these envious naysayers. First of all, if you can get a broadband connection running into it, you've got some pretty good demo options. I recommend the Marble game, and the free puzzle games are pretty decent as well. Secondly, the best bang for your buck title for me has been Amped. It's a snowboarding game. which I generally have no interest in, but the controls are easy to jump into and the cut scenes are absolutely hilarious. Oblivion is out tomorrow, so otherwise you've got a short wait.

Shootouts are pissing me off. I'd probably be ok if my team ever won, but it's seriously messed up.

I absolutely loved V for Vendetta. I didn't think it was contrite or overdramatized. It had a nice mix of action, activism, and emotion. It's difficult not to love a guy who is clearly insane.

Anyone remember Strife? That was a cool FPS style game. edit: Oh Hades, did you join a RP server, or is that even an option? Not that there is real RP on those servers, but after the first month they tend to settle down as a mature group of gamers.

1. Survivor - the first season was awesome, and they haven't really sold out yet. It's not a comfortable experience for any of the contestants, as evidenced by the guant look they all have after a few weeks. 2. Project Runway - I don't know why really. I guess it's because they really do work their tails off on this show. They are doing something that I would have absolutely no clue how to do. They take some cloth and make pretty amazing stuff from it. 3. The first few seasons of the Real World. It used to be an interesting social experiment. They had people from various cultures interacting with one another. Runner-Up - 30 Days had a few good episodes.

They do advocate chastity. For one thing, I can't really speak for Catholics, since I am Protestant (woo-hoo!). But one reason why they might oppose homosexual priests is probably the same reason boy scouts would oppose gay scout troops. Not necessarily out of homophobia, but out of safety. Imagine this: you have a male priest who has taken a vow of chastity. Sex is a part of human nature that, like any other part, starts to really get to you once you go without for a long time. Then say that this priest was homosexual. A priest who spends much of his life around other men AND young boys. The chances of a homosexual priest abusing a young boy would be greater than that of a heterosexual priest abusing a young boy. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That is utter BS. Sexual predators and homosexuals are not similiar. The homosexual priest has the same chance of engaging in sexual conduct with a child as the straight priest. The Catholic church WAS moving towards being more open to gay priests. It's quite recent, and a sign of our current pope, that they have renewed the attack on homosexuality. In the 90's the Catholic church even aknowledged that homosexuality is a genetic disposition.

Dude, that logic NEVER works on die-hard christians. They seem to think that the bible was the direct words of God. Any biblical scholar will tell you that the entire bible is simply an interpretation of man. It's not the exact words of God. These interpretations are constantly changing as our culture does, hence new editions of the bible.

I agree with Gabs on the arrogance and and health care, but as a teacher, I gotta defend education a bit. Education is far from perfect in the US, but it gives a lot more opportunity to succeed than many other parts of the world. Many countries lead students into trade schools at an early age, whereas the US has tons of programs to allow any student the chance to attend college. The US is also a very unique entity. It's frickin' huge, and it has an incredibly diverse population. It's a melting pot unlike any other country. It's tough to create a cohesive education plan under these circumstances, particularly when it comes to language. The US is still turning out a tremendous amount of talented young people. Many countries still send their best and brightest to the US to finish their educations. As I've said, the system is far from perfect, but I'd like to think it's slowly improving each year.

You still never answered the question...who are you to judge? It says not to judge others as well...so are you not a Christian now? It also says that all people sin, and Jesus is supposed to be the redemption, so how does that work?
