  1. There are about 5 co-op missions, and about that many versus missions too. There is also good ole freestyle mode, in which you just wander around the entire city causing mayhem. Kor and I had a blast doing this, we traded places driving and riding shotgun. Literally shotgun (actually uzi or pistols). We also crashed a couple helicopters and I ran over Kor in a boat. Everything is customizable in the multiplayer mode, too, so we could all just team up and take on the po-po.

I don't really have a choice when it comes to driving and spending a lot of money on gas. I drive 40 miles to get to work every day. As a teacher, if I live where I work, I can't afford the housing prices. I teach in an urban area and live in a more rural area. The rural schools pay half as much as the urban schools. I also have family in the area, so moving to another more affordable state or area is a very tough decision.
  3. I've only tried bowling. It was pretty mediocre.
  4. Considering one major complaint I hear a lot about Bethesda games is that the story and dialogue isn't up to par, I hardly see how adding a strong writer is a negative thing.

It's a shame that the oil companies and the car companies really work to stifle advancement in the field of fuel efficiency and alternative energy sources.
  6. When are we going to coop some GTA? I also want to do a cops and robbers game.
  7. It was $90 for the CE. That's $30 more than the regular edition. It was a moment of weakness, I regretted it right after I opened it. Still, the key chain is neat.
  8. I picked up the CE as well. I have no clue why, but I guess I might need a lockbox someday anyways.
  9. We are remodelling our kitchen.

Sharks just dropped game 3. I'm ready for a coaching change. I'm not necessarily one to blame a coach, but I don't think they've got the right system in place, particularly on defense. They just seem to sit back way to much. They have fast skaters, why are they standing around so much? It's just been ugly.

My wife and I spend about 18 bucks a day on gas to get to and from work.

Um, Drury and Shany both had pretty miserable playoffs, but I though Volourn was the one who always railed against applying the choke artist moniker? Because that's what you seem to be labeling two players with pretty solid credentials. I don't know, I have a feeling that Volourn will argue with us even when we agree with him.
  13. I think piracy is a major problem in certain countries, but in the US I have to agree that these people probably aren't going to buy anyways. I don't think movies and games should be available to these leeches, but I don't think you can blame a lack of sales on them. People with money typically don't get their jollies by watching free movies on the internet and downloading cracked software.
  14. Bee? That's pretty manly. I wish I had a PS3. Maybe by next year.
  15. I have no clue, you'll have to ask thepixies.
  16. Hades is clearly a November, while Gabs is a January. Volourn is an Enero.
  17. ME is definitely more akin to KotOR.
  18. That's a shame. I was in your boat for awhile, but I upgraded last Fall. DirectX 10 makes the game look unbelievable. The visuals are just jaw dropping. I upgraded for The Witcher and CoD4, but those games haven't impressed me nearly as much as LotR Online.
  19. I played it and loved it. Crackdown is like a weird combination of GTA and Super Mario Bros. All I wanted to do was collect those jumping things throughout the city. Needless to say, it's a heck of a lot more cartoony, not just with the art but the entire physics of the game. They are both at their best as sandbox games, but I'd still say they feel very different. GTA feels a lot more alive as a world. The city itself feels more finely crafted, and whichever one you are playing (3, VC, or SA) has a unique style with the music, clothes, and cars. I'd give the GTA series an August, and Crackdown an October.
  20. How do you like it? I just hit level 39 with my captain and I've been having a blast. I also just saved enough for a horse. I've been really impressed with the rate that Turbine has been adding new content. I've yet to really feel like I'm grinding away at experience, the quests and traits really keep it engaging.
  21. GTA's story is great, but it's really a combination of many factors that makes it one of my top picks. I've never actually played the story line all the way through, I usually just try and unlock as much of the map as possible and then enjoy exploring. The drive mechanics aren't perfect, but they work for the game. I can't really think of many other games that give you such a comprehensive sandbox experience. There is just an endless possibility for adventure. One time in San Andreas I was riding a motorcycle down a highway. A cop car went speeding by, chasing someone else. Suddenly he turned into me, causing me to head straight towards the railing. I went over the handle bars and plunged about 20 feet down into the ocean. I looked back up at the cliff when I hit and was rewarded by the sight of a squad car crashing over the railing and following me into the ocean. It was just awesome. I swam to a nearby boat and sped off smiling.

Yeah, I'm definitely not trying to take anything away from Dallas. They are executing a great defensive scheme, and they've got a few players that really know how to capitalize when they get the chance.

The Sharks just look terrible. They look like they've never handled the puck under pressure before. Thornton is really struggling, and the defense just seems to have no clue what they are doing. I don't get it, I really don't. Modano, Morrow, and Zubov just seem to be playing a different game. Every time the puck gets loose, there are two Star players there. The Sharks just seem listless.
  24. Yeah, he worked on LotR Online, which is very well written. The main storyline is more engaging than a good deal of single player RPG's out there.
  25. I'm pretty sure any dual core exceeds a single P4 processor. I don't know what the equation is though.
