It looks pretty amazing with DirectX 10 as well. Anyone who complains about the monthly fee for Lord of the Rings Online has no clue what they are talking about. Turbine has released 8 very sizable content patches over the last year. I'm not talking about tweaks, I'm talking about entirely new areas and thousands of new quests. It's also been very well spread out over the levels, rather than just high end content. I played WoW for two years and Blizzard was nowhere near as good at releasing new content. Sony makes you pay for new expansions every 6 months in EQ2 instead of free content updates, so I've got to say that Turbine is by far the best bang for your buck when it comes to MMO's. I pay $10 a month by the way, which is the same price as a movie ticket.

The best way to work out any part of the body and avoid any stress injuries is to do so in the water. I imagine there are plenty of water exercises that you can do to strengthen your hands.

That's kinda my point, it was 33 years ago that a team blew a 3 game lead. It was the 1975 Islanders that won it, I don't know who it was against. Before that it was 1942 and the Toronto Maple Leafs pulled it off. So really, someone is due for blowing a 3-0 lead. It's been 33 years. The Sharks and the Rangers have a chance to take advantage of this statistical loophole.

I also got a 5 star rating when I tried to head to the big Island (Alonquin?) It ended quickly. I really just wanted to buy better clothes.

Wow, part 9. This is an amazing thread. Sharks try to stave off elimination again tonight. 66 years ago a team came back from a 3-0 deficit and took the series. 33 years ago the second team overcame the same deficit. I'm just saying...

I really doubt people who choose to pirate Crysis are thinking "well the demo is available, but I really need to get further into the game to see if my machine can handle the graphics." People pirate because they are self serving leeches who think they are entitled to the hard work of others for free. I pirated a few games when I was in High School, and looking back I have no problem admitting it was me being young and selfish. People who pirate need to grow up, they are damaging their own hobby with their ignorance.

We had a staff meeting yesterday where we talked about the fact that there is no such thing as perfection, but there is such thing as excellence. People seem stuck on the idea that 10/10 means perfection despite the fact IGN clearly states it means excellence. It's not healthy to always strive for perfection because it will always lead to disappointment, but excellence is achievable in everyone (whether it's a game designer or a student.) GTAIV is an excellent game, by the way.

I'm actually pretty DnDed out. We've had a pretty good run of D&D games, and I think it's nice that we are going to see more variety on our RPG's.

There are about 5 co-op missions, and about that many versus missions too. There is also good ole freestyle mode, in which you just wander around the entire city causing mayhem. Kor and I had a blast doing this, we traded places driving and riding shotgun. Literally shotgun (actually uzi or pistols). We also crashed a couple helicopters and I ran over Kor in a boat. Everything is customizable in the multiplayer mode, too, so we could all just team up and take on the po-po.

I don't really have a choice when it comes to driving and spending a lot of money on gas. I drive 40 miles to get to work every day. As a teacher, if I live where I work, I can't afford the housing prices. I teach in an urban area and live in a more rural area. The rural schools pay half as much as the urban schools. I also have family in the area, so moving to another more affordable state or area is a very tough decision.

I've only tried bowling. It was pretty mediocre.

Considering one major complaint I hear a lot about Bethesda games is that the story and dialogue isn't up to par, I hardly see how adding a strong writer is a negative thing.

It's a shame that the oil companies and the car companies really work to stifle advancement in the field of fuel efficiency and alternative energy sources.

It was $90 for the CE. That's $30 more than the regular edition. It was a moment of weakness, I regretted it right after I opened it. Still, the key chain is neat.

I picked up the CE as well. I have no clue why, but I guess I might need a lockbox someday anyways.
