  1. I don't know how you can possibly look at US foreign policy and assume they have any idea what they are doing. edit: Attack China? They are economically tied at the hip, what a terrible idea that would be.
  2. It is refreshing to have some honest criticisms about Russia on these forums. All conversations used to be dominated by propagandists.
  3. I've been single dad-ing it while my wife recovers from her ACL surgery. I'm super exhausted.
  4. Well I love that strolling around in a business suit is not that insane. But honestly that isn't much different than the last two games. The only big difference is the customization of everything.
  5. This is what I pictured when I started watching Keyrock's video. I don't know why.
  6. Actually it is pretty common to come across crafting stations in the wastes, where you can transfer gear to your workshop. So I haven't seen the need for packmules. The dog is a pretty easy companion though. He doesn't cause me much trouble.
  7. Yeah, I just went through the list after Malcador's comment. It's a pretty fantastic library. His work as a director is probably the biggest surprise, it's a very solid list. I watched The Secret Life of Walter Mitty recently. I had avoided it because it was pretty well panned by critics, but I ended up enjoying it. Still, hard to beat Tropic Thunder and Zoolander for hilarity.
  8. Have never found him, or those, remotely funny. Same thing with Owen Wilson. You didn't like "There's Something About Mary"?
  9. Oh please. Spare me that conspiracy theory notion of capitalism as some kind of mythical cabal acting as a single entity. We have access to hundreds (thousands?) of competing news outlets. The idea that collectively, they give us less full and fair access to information about world events, than a centralized state-sponsored media would, is absolutely ludicrous. That does look a lot better than one big circle labelled "GOV"
  10. I'm still going to place NV above Fallout 4, but I will say I think it is better than Fallout 3. I don't like the dialogue system either, but at the end of the day the good outweighs the bad.
  11. All three of those guys are less about the acting and more about the writing and producing.
  12. Not sure I get this. I get it for Adam Sandler and Mike Meyers, But Ben Stiller still has more good than bad at this stage.
  13. That seems to be the standard now. I bought Lego Dimensions for the kids the other day, popped it in, and it then proceeded to download 16 gigs. The kids were not amused.
  14. There are two congressmen that are Muslim, actually. Not a whole lot, but Muslims only make up 1 percent of the population of the country, so not surprising. You are comparing a country of 300 million to a country of 30 million. If you want to find bad stories about either country, you are going to find them. For the US, you are going to easily find 10 times as many bad stories. Here is the thing, you are telling us that Malaysia is a great country, and I'm totally willing to believe that. I am glad you care for your country. But you seem to completely ignore all of the stuff we are telling you about the US. Why are you trying so hard to convince us that the country we live in is bad?
  15. Yeah, I was pretty excited about Battlefront, but at the last moment backed off and decided to wait. Mostly because I'm too busy with Fallout 4.
  16. Qistina, you have taken it upon yourself to educate us about Malaysian culture, and I appreciate it. As someone who has never been there and knows very few people from your country, that is invaluable. But much like you are telling us to not buy into the media portrayal of the US, I'd caution you to not buy into the portrayal of the US as Qu'ran burning zealots. I spent the day in my US classroom talking about Islam, the refugee crisis, and the conflict with ISIS. My students come from a variety of faiths, Christians, Muslims, Jews, Hindu, Sikhs, and Atheists. As a Social Studies teacher, we have already spent the last unit learning about the life of Mohammad and the rise of Islam, and right now we are talking about West Africa. There was no persecuting or book burning, just an open discussion on the problems and a chance for the students to reflect on where this is all going. The Islam unit is also a part of our federal education standards. 47 out of 50 states cover the curriculum much like I do. It's pretty tame stuff, we cover the 5 pillars, the importance of Mecca, the Qu'ran, and the Sunnah.
  17. Yeah, we all know that Italy is the Adultery country.
  18. I don't know, welfare is a tricky issue. My wife has a ton of students coming from welfare households. They tend to have a lot of other issues, for sure, but I'm not sure if taking away the measly amount of money they get will do anything but make matters worse. These are the same kids who hate winter and summer breaks because they know they will not get a decent meal most of the time. How do you change the entire culture around welfare? I'm all for alternative programs, but realistically those will probably cost even more to implement.
  19. Not quite sure how Trump, who says he identifies more as a democrat, isn't getting that label.
  20. You have to add a special mod to the power armor suit to seal the deal.
  21. I think hockey should be played 4-4 during regular time. Opens up the ice and allows skill players room to actually you know, stickhandle and pass. I'd probably prefer an international ice surface myself.
  22. Dude, it is solid rock. What purpose do you think it has? It is ok to not know things. We can't be experts on everything. A good leader needs to be able to defer to the experts on a wide range of issues, and Carson has shown zero ability to do that.
  23. Hey, he'll be my first vote if I ever need brain surgery. Actually I'd assume that is a younger man's game, so he would have been back in the day.
