  1. Fake news. Obsidian has never released a game with bugs ever. I have been playing Fallout 2 lately, that game is a buggy mess. Still can't stop playing!
  2. Hm, it's not hard to see what she was getting at, she should have said 'respected the same as' though to be totally clear on her intent. Also probably be nice if women had a powerful lobby group that fought for their rights in Washington, and if the same people that freak out about their guns being grabbed also freaked out about women's hoohah's being grabbed.Huh? But women are independent, strong and powerful. Why would they need some lobby? Considering you have posted multiple 'jokes' recently that treat women like objects, clearly they still have a ways to go for independence, strength and power.

  4. You guys are making me hungry for cookies. Those wealth disparities are ridiculous. There has to be some wiggle room between welfare state and the end game of Monopoly.
  5. So how's the difficulty? Is it a hard game? Save vs 10 year old humour: critical failure. Not at all. You can also turn enemy level scaling on and off from the options menu. Is it a big world and is it long? I've had trouble beating these games before because I lack the endurance to really grind it out.
  6. My wife had this waiting in the oven for me tonight when I got home from a late hockey game. We may have lost our game, but I'm doing pretty well.
  7. That is the dumbest thing I have seen Sharpie post in awhile.
  8. Personal life, sure. Business, nope. You don't get to pick and choose who you do business with in our society based on race and gender. That is how you end up with a tremendously segregated population. Women in the kitchen, minorities in service jobs and inner cities with crappy schools, etc. We still have a long way to go clearly, but we certainly aren't going back to the 50's.
  9. What age do you have to do the prostate exam? I'm almost 40, I assume it is soon.
  10. My daughter just did a Futurama run through. It was fun watching with her.
  11. Doesn't seem that weird to me. It's not like he followed it up with demands she get in the kitchen and make him dinner.
  12. I'd imagine they will settle for a year and a load of cash. The IRS just wants its money. Can he bring in any income at this point in his career though?
  13. They have the butt pad, but it is much thinner than the traditional cycling shorts. My first two races are 10 and 15 miles, so that shouldn't be a problem. The 40k for an Olympic makes me a bit nervous. This weekend I'll simulate a run-bike-run and see how it goes. I'm also planning on doing the Santa Cruz Triathlon, and I'm pretty sure the sand will make me miserable. My bike butt pads feel like a diaper.
  14. My county didn't make the New Cali cut. Whoops, read it wrong. I made the cut!
  15. The store I went to had two options. The muscle shirt option was $60 and the short sleeve one was $120. I'm a cheapskate.
  16. Bought a tri-suit. My daughter said it looked repulsive. Parenting win. Honestly I just need to tan my shoulders. They are snow white compared to my arms and it looks weird. Good ole farmer's tan.
  17. The show is better than the books anyways. Honestly it is best not to take this stuff too seriously. It's fun fantasy, but it became pretty clear to me early on that GRR was never going to be able to wrap up all these narratives cleanly.
  18. Given that so many people can't distinguish between reply and reply all, I'm surprised this doesn't happen more often.
  19. Is rampant a statisticle term? California is a blue state because the Republican party has basically abandoned it. It doesn't require any boogie men or ghost voted to make it so.
  20. Well, illegals don't actually vote, so there is a bit more to it than that. Oddly enough, my wife's family is split up between the US and Mexico. The ones here are super conservative and vote Republican, while the ones in Mexico are super liberal. Kind of strange how split they are. I would say the Republican party as a whole needs to do a better job of appealing to Mexican-Americans.
  21. Giants seemed to have picked up McCutchen from the Pirates. This is a huge deal, he is way better than anyone else in the outfield right now.
