One has to wonder....what with the Dreamcast being EXTREMELY INNOVATIVE, having some rock solid titles, and the fact that EVERY SEGA CONSOLE'S OPERATING SYSTEM DATING TO THE GENESIS HAS BEEN DEVELOPED BY M$....and the fact that they were trying to make the Dreamcast's hardware PC conversion friendly (never saw any articles that said whether it was or not, but that's what they were ASKING M$ for....which is what they did with the Billy Gates Box)....you don't think M$ could have had SOMETHING to do with Sega's Hardware demise....do ya? I know they are...didn't I say so in the initial post? I just thought they were especially funny seeing as how things have unfolded since they were said in January.

Man, originally I just watched this because I was bored, and my family was...but I was pleasantly surprised... I came into it expecting a multi-'castaway' (Tom Hanks movie) and or Survivor drama ripoff....that is until in the middle of the night.....there's trees a'fallin', and noises similar to a mix between the Predator language, and the Velociraptors in Jurassic Park. It owns man. I was a little disappointed though, that having been set after Jurassic Park, that these people were dumb enough to leave the safety of the completely stationary, Jetliner husk....with the 'creature' right outside, after having seen the pilot just ripped out of the front of the cockpit through the broken window, with accompanying blood spatter. :D Then, not only does the dumb broad 'damsel in distress' get lost......but she freaking screams for help....even though the 'creature' is apparently nowhere near her. I have already drawn three conclusions for possible series finales for this miniseries: A ) The Jurassic Park movies were more of a historical fiction docudrama than a Sci-Fi thriller. They have stumbled onto one of the several cloning islands...and are being hunted by dinosaurs. B ) They are being stalked by one of the Predator aliens....the falling trees can be explained by the plasmacaster, and/or other Predtech weapons, perhaps the pistol, or the remote bombs. The only problem with this theory is though the body of the pilot certainly looked skinned, and was sitting amongst the treetops.....he wasn't hung by the hamstrings in typical Predator display fashion. Although, considering the timeframe, I guess the Pred might not have had time to fully doctor his kill. C ) They're being stalked by the Chupacabras. They will capture one live, and when eventually rescued, they will be hailed as heroes. D ) This is perhaps the most outlandish, but I would offer mad props to the creators if it was true......It's all a hoax, this is the newest Reality TV Show, a mix of Scare Tactics, Survivor, and whatever other shows that fit with this genre would work with.....all of it is staged...they're just messing with these people's minds. Anyhow, it's certainly 'interesting'.

Erm...I was talking about REAL women. I have no problem with lusting after a computer character's boobs. I lust after pr0n and other media....but in a real relationship, I need something more substantial. P.S. The complexity of Bratstila's personality was Jack $hit. It had to be so because of all of the different outcomes in a game like KotOR. For real depth of personality, you need a more set story. Which is why, IMO, the best female heroine in a video game was Jade, in Beyond Good & Evil.

He put it perfectly. The PC is a more adult platform as it has been around for a while, I don't know how long I am only 13. A console, is a short lived platform which more children could possibly afford, since PC gamers have to get upgraded like every year, isn't a good PC like 1k+ to be able to run a game like Doom 3 at it's best? Plus the upgrade costs. Which I doubt many 13 year olds can afford, I know I can't afford it. I play RTS on the computer since I like the mouse and keyboard. But the first time I went to visit my dad he gave me a PS, I was hooked. But I only bought two games and I was given two more games from my father and some friends. So I had an emotional attachment to console's, so I play them more. Also I don't like the installation process in the PC side, too long and junk. I voted, who cares <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Get a freaking job. 4H and FFA programs you can make $1-2k in a nine month period easy. I managed to make $10k, but that was unusual.

That's one thing out of how many bad things on the Bioboards? 1. Lets see, they can only ban Usernames....some say that they can ban CD-Keys; and Priestly went so far as to say they really CAN ban IP addies, but I've gone through four trolling aliases so far, just for the hell of it....and all they've done is ban my username....I even used the exact same CD-Key when I signed up again. That's pathetic. 2. Draconian, zero tolerance banning policy. I haven't even got a warning before they banned me with my last trolling account....even though what I did wasn't all that bad, and I hadn't given any indication that I was the same person as before. 3. No displaying images. This just freaking sucks, I don't know any other way of putting it. 4. They don't even allow you to TALK about mods for KotOR. This also....just sucks. We're allowed to do it all we want on the Lucas Forums...they even have entire sections dedicated to it....yet Lucasarts hasn't contacted THEM and threatened to shut them down; really not sure what Bio's talking about when they say LA would press chages. Personally, I agree that it's a handy feature, but right now, Obsidian's heads and tails above the Bioboards.....though it's degenerating moreso every day into Bioboards 2.0. I just found this inadvertantly while looking to see if there was any new news about Beyond Good & Evil since the last bit on January 5 (there wasn't ). It's from the interview series (there were two parts) way back in January right after Obsidian had gone public. Ironically, the bit about Beyond Good & Evil was in sequence, right after the first part, so Feargus' name showed up at the bottom of it. Best female videogame character ever was Jade in Beyond Good & Evil.....the entire reason she WAS attractive though, was because she wasn't really designed to be. No gigantic boobies, no over exaggerated curves....but her personality was what held the real appeal. <_< PC upgrades wouldn't be $1500, even new PC for much less than that would be more than able to run this game and for even less you could build it yourself. But not many people buy a new PC just for one game. Upgrades? Sure, people were doing that for Doom III and for Half-Life 2. I don't think KOTOR II is going to be much of a console seller for MS (that's what Halo 2 is supposed to be), especially if they already have a PC that will be able to play the game and besides people who don't have the PC to run KOTORII probably couldn't run KOTOR on their PC and therefore would have either bought their XBox a year ago. It's only a two month or so difference, which isn't much of a wait and I'm sure most PC gamers have the patience to wait that short of a time. I know I do since I'll have plenty of PS2 (namely GTA:SA, which won't be out on PC until May, June or July of next year) games to keep me occupied, not to mention other PC games. It sucks that he PC version is delayed. :angry: The only reason I could see there being is that the PC version needs more optimization so that it'll work with more PC configurations. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Check out my thread in general gaming about the new PS2 design. People were already complaining about the Billy Gates Box being gigantic....what now. Plus they installed a modem....that means their machine is now going to appeal to all the people who don't have highspeed internet for online gaming. Sony just released a potentially very, very big gun....Microsoft is going to have trouble selling any new Billy Gates Boxes this holiday season I imagine....that is....if they didn't have KotOR2 and Halo 2.

Very fun indeed, mine's not really anything special at the moment.....except for the overclocked 2500+ Barton Core processor......with the multiplier locked.....that I've mangaged to overclock to 3200+ speeds....that's a pretty nice feat of itself. Other than that, the hardware's showing age, as I need to upgrade, but I'm hoping to be able to hold out at least until next year, even if it means playing HL2 at lower resolutions. Though my Gig of PC4000 DDR Mushkin RAM is still a thing to be envied. :D

Somethimes it's the other way around too. Look at Doom 3 and Half Life 2, they will be released later on xbox and will be crappy grapichs wise compared to on PC. And I still don't understand how you can play first person shooters without mouse and keyboard Guess I have to get used to it... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> EVERYTHING is crappy graphicswise compared to PC, at least when it takes advantage of more hightech PC hardware. The only reason those came out first, is because they have been, and unless something changes drastically, ALWAYS WILL BE primarily PC titles. I'm not even talking about games like GTA though, because just like with Doom and Halflife, those were originally console titles. I'm thinking more along the lines of Theif III, Deus Ex 2, most recent Lucasarts games that were available for both platforms, the most recent Oddworld title (as I've mentioned before, at least when that series was on a Sony console, they gave us a port)......fact is, Billy is out to monopolize the gaming industry now that he's seen he's losing his grip on OS software.....and apparently even though it's never been a problem with any console makers before.....he's out for blood against PC gaming too.
