That is exactly the point i was trying to make before. That while I am familiar with all the medical recommendations, I also know that any exercise is better than no exercise and everyone have to start somewhere. I don't know when was the last time anyone here went to walk\jog outside, but here in the evenings the walkways are PACKED with young and old people, walking\jogging or using the machines around. I hate to sound like a promotional pumplet, but go out there and stop make ridicules excuses for yourself.

I still think the 7.62x39 is the better allround-round, both rounds lose a great deal of accuracy and effectiveness at 300yds so range is not a factor. Both kill people dead. The 7.62x39 however makes it through light and medium cover where the 556 would fragment itself to death before making it to the enemy, so if you want to be prepared for the worst it includes shooting through cars, wooden barriers and light brick walls. You have to carry a little bit more weight but, but very little, its almost negligible. If I was a soldier and could choose my firearm I would take a FN-FAL in 7.62x51 with a 2-7x33 scope instead of 556 or 7.62x39, it has the speed of the 556, more twice the effective range, kills people dead as doornails and penetrates cover like crazy while having a mild recoil, especially in a semi. Heavy you say? I'm used to haul 30kg of gear up to 3700 meter mountain tops, up and down, for days, and the air is thin up there. I'm a mule. You have a point and 30kg gear hikes is very nice. Although on topic of soldiers, just a quick note, that its less about the individual guns and more about the team, which is usually prepared for the worst. sure, as long as you don't mind everyone carrying another ~4kg of extra gun and ammo weight Also I wonder if those guns use special mags or duct tape solutions, and what happens if you got a stoppage ...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PFdnZDCKf3s The great thing about situational comedy, it that it allows us to laugh at our self. Though hopefully after all the BS excuses about not caring or not having time that no one buys, we actually try to improve for our sake. Small steady steps...

True, but in the end what count is what role you are using it for i.e. target practice, combat, special units etc tend to have different focuses. Better penetration of the 7.62, only meaningful if you think that 5.56 don't pack enough punch. Proponents of 5.56 usually mention extra damage\accuracy\weight consideration, leaning on specialization to deal with other threats.(btw. many special units prefer smaller more wildy guns and smaller rounds, to minimize collateral damage)

Those must be professionals dancers, because there is no way i am going to believe that those are one of those star wars fans with storm trooper costumes at home. I did several clips for my family/friends special occasions, which were very good for non-pro(we even got couple of them on vimeo), so I have no problem to imagine how with some tools, creativity and a lot LOT of time everyone can make something memorable, if the put their mind to it. But I must say BS on group choreography, you need a great bit of dancing experience to make anything, we slaved for days, even borrowed a session with the wedding dance instructors for this and despite what every loved one claim, you can easily spot that we were no pros, its ovbious from the little things. Anyway, if those guys in the clip are not pros, I'll buy and eat my hat off!

Looks like recent weeks Russia has stepped up supplies of military gear to Syria.[link] While at this point of the conflict, I welcome Russian military support to Assad since they(and Iran) already screwed up the situation past the point of no return. However, with the peace talks scheduled for next week, I am wondering if the talks are just a for show, I am interested to learn what is the long term plan here for Assad alawite minority to control the poor Sunni majority.

I'd like to think that I can distinguish a twitchy kid or a gunster wannabe playing with a drawn or loaded firearm, from person of age(iirc at least 21) wearing it in a proper visible holster, usually with some kind of uniform. @BruceVC, tsk tsk tsk, haven't you heard of that little thing called Developer-backer confidentiality, thou shalt not pry for spoilers or be ware of the rage that will follow <- attempt at american psycho smiley.

Question to the guys who have been following on this 1. Does stealth mechanics are only limited to the player party, or we might get ambushed by some critters? it might be nice if it worked like the hidden object spot, that high perception will show us a red circle of enemies a head who are waiting to ambush us once we are closer. 2. Does stealth provide any kind of surprise attack bonus? at least for the first round.

I agree. You would think that with the advantage of history and experience on our side, we there would not have the same problems and yet history tend to repeat it self because of hubris of men. Clouded by hindsight from historical theory, believing they found the universal and know how to make it happen, making the usual mistake of trying to over correct, playing "armchair generals" thinking that they are best informed of all the parameters of the situation and or loosing sight of human element on their gameboard or get overly attached it. It is a very delicate balance balance to play. If only making history was as simple as reading it. So yes, we should not think ourselves inherently psychologically superior to our ancestors. Btw, I used to help translate psychiatric meta analyse studies(yes with my crappy english!), the amount of statistical inference and Methodology limitations make you cringe every time someone cite the title of any study, and the fact that some treatment methods are critically changed almost every few years doesn't come as surprise, especially in today rapidly changing society in so many aspects. Also personally, I don't see Nationalism is any different from most things in life(i.e. should be take in moderation), in fact IMO there is something wrong with those who don't develop such sense of identity, same goes for those who don't have healthy attachment with their community, friends, family and or anything that has a prominent effect throughout their life's on every level. Little appreciation of one's background/history/ancestors and the desire to contribute, at the very least show that you care.

On the topic of Geography and Economies dominated by oil and gas products, I think its important to note that their largest single source of crude oil and trade route into the world is the Persian gulf, which is situated between them. It what makes them economically and geopolitically important for the rest of the world and the reason why its such a major point of regional contention, for offshore production opportunities and strategic points i.e. Iran territorial dispute with Bahrain, UAE and Oman(also one of the reasons that motivated Iraq to engage Iran and later Kuwait) On topic of Demographics, I hope you don't mind if I simplify it to the view that middle east is predominantly Arab/Sunni, while Iranian is predominantly Persians\Shia. As far as I know the Iranian young population isn't uncommon in the middle east, where most countries median age is under 30. Also on a side note on GDP figures, I think that the large share of oil\gas revenue skew the actual state of their economy.. I pretty sure that Iran is more advanced. Nice. Though I think IRGC exploits and the Basij role/reach in the Islamic Republic society should have gotten a little bit more attention. Also i'd emphasis their autocratic nature if only for the sake of whoever eventually try to apply Western models here.

In my current place of residence, they did a smart thing and separated Infrastructure from Internet Service Providers i.e. you pick a Infrastructure provider(DSL,Cable, etc) who connect you physically to the "internet" and whatever ISP which who is your gateway to the content on the internet(username/password, DNS, etc). No ISP contracts, you can switch whenever you want. I don't believe this the situation where you are... like I said before competition is a good thing. Better analogy would be how Wal-Mart(or any service provider), deal with shopper traffic, specifically during rush hours when their register line are at full capacity. The idea is to maintain basic service, the most common solution is quick line register for people with few items. As for your example, Verizon "intentionally degrade" calls from AT&T would probably a violation of some competition law. However, buying bandwidth(~prioritizing) is standard practice. All ISP worldwide lease bandwidth for international traffic those who have more provide better service during rush hours, most modern infrastructure designed to be all in one(phone, internet,tv) with prioritizing in mind(VOIP, data, etc) even your home modem\router is almost certainly have at least basic ability to allow some prioritizing(so that my skype call to make grandma happy wont be interrupted by some background download). IMO the real problem here is rush hours traffic, poor infrastructure and or lack of competition. I don't see anything inherently wrong prioritizing, bandwidth speed/data caps and or paying more for better service. Because latency sensitive services are more important than some background file sharing, because there is no reason that my grandma should pay as much as some kids who cap out their bandwidth all day all night and lastly because new infrastructure wont fund it self and when there is money in it you get competition.

I am not familiar with Canada telecommunication market, but it seem to me that you outlined two issues, which are not necessarily related. One is your cable/satellite companies created a monopoly, which should be dealt with like any other monopoly through competition laws. The second is bandwidth caps, which is unpopular among certain circles but legitimate in most cases. I don't see what the problem. I don't care what the ISP choose to prioritize, as long as I am getting a good service, the moment that seize to be true I call one of the other dozen ISPs(they would deal with the transfer paper work)

@Wombat, I just thrown the link here to help the guys at the wiki, in case someone is able to dig anything new or find an error. Speaking of new, iirc JS said that companions are optional and that a player would be able to finish the game on his own. Does that mean that yes could finish the game on your own, but that would be insanely hard or that for each additional party member the mobs will get tougher ?

If things are not changed after the old update above, enemies are scaled based on the difficulty level, not character level as in Bethesda games. So, even at easier difficulty levels, if a low-level party wander too far, they will eventually come across what they cannot deal with, which is, however, by design or due to the scope of the game. [Edit] BTW, I couldn't find where it was mentioned but, IIRC, encounters tied to the plot seems to be scaled to some extent. Oh and np Indira pretty much that is all we know on that front. http://eternity.gamepedia.com/Mode

Philosophical or Legal for the virtual - What is "Ownership"?
Mor replied to Raithe's topic in Way Off-Topic
The problem always starts with us, some will always find how to abuse the letter of the law, scheming the system for their own benefit and many lawyers offer their service for exactly that purpose. Unfortunatelly this sometimes leaves the little people in the crossfire. That how it is, because it is impossible to make a perfect law, just as its impossible to win a war on crime, the goal is always to marginalize the problematic elements, sometimes through offer a legal alternative, that would suit the majority far better. As for US legal circles, I assume you speak of piracy laws? which at some point has become really harsh, that probably because in certain circles piracy became the norm, especially in poorer third world countries, where many people only consume pirated goods of the internet and those who pays are perceived as the odd ones. The core problem here is not Wildcard Games or anyone else doing dirty promotions on youtube, but how youtube implemented their latest anti piracy system. IMO with the amount of content uploaded to youtube every second, youtube has no choice to use anything other than automated system(especially in-light of services that specifically designed to circumvent anti copyright methods that just auto upload/re-upload stuff) and I completely understand youtube take down policy, only an idiot would want to become a third party to a legal argument between two parties(with the ammount of content they have, they can drown in it). With that said, people like TotalBiscuit are their content creators and they should try to be more creative in how they can avoid such situations and or offer better tools for users to deal with it. -
I think that 'free to present' that information would be more accurate, especially today when everyone are 'free to dig up' anything on the internet, but it is still the Mass media that has the biggest influence on the hearts and minds. I might be wrong, but I don't think that Walsingham said or implied that it is "solely limited" to Russians, only tried to empathize the scale of it in Russia.

That the source of my confusion, I don't usually make pork chop's, so I didn't thought of apple slices as dressing, sound nice and can work with most fruits(certainly better then the full apple deal, of which I am not a fan). When we make pork, we stick to bigger portions and the oven. But for the most part I prefer lighter meals and in what I make for main apples doesn't fit really well, so they either ends in salad or once in a while when I am not vetoed as the bottom layer of cake.

On the confirmed attributes for PE
Mor replied to IndiraLightfoot's topic in Pillars of Eternity: Stories (Spoiler Warning!)
It's off by a margin of two new mechanics(penetration and interrupt/concentration) and one that didn't work, making most of the previous thread irrelevant, which is why my initial reaction wasn't pretty. Anyway, I think the new system is more plausible(?) in the sense that I don't feel like I need to rationalize some aspect of it(like int before hand), it makes more sense in its effects grouping and overall it offers pinch of new and uncertainty that will make character creation more exciting to me The only thing that I don't like, even hate is the name "Might" especially its shorthand "Mig" -
Pan fried you mean afterwards to give it some color or how does that work? because I am used to make something that sounds very similar only in tinfoil in the oven and grill it a bit in the end. He means you cook the chop in frying pan as opposed to an oven. Its how we cook smaller pieces of meat. I generally do the same with Steak and chops. You obviously can't cook large pieces of meat like this as the meat won't be cooked all the way through but frying chops does add some nice caramelization Ok but then what of the apple and half onion *use Italian accent*
