  1. Crytek is surely the worse run company, but I wouldn't be surprised if this claim bore some water. Crytek will use any ground they can find to salvage their desperate financial standing.
  2. Konami today is an irrecognizable husk.
  3. Some of us followed the rules by posting our lists as a PM.
  4. I never finished iZombie, but it's the one CW show that I can actually stand.
  5. Loved the end of Logan. Definitely one of the best movies this year. Also Baby Driver, shame that Spacey is in it.
  6. Fear and Loathing is one of my top 10 movies. I sometimes wonder if it's actually my favorite, since to this very day I find it to be one of the most re-watchable films amongst my favorites. As far as playing a drunk goes, Raoul "Hunter S. Thompson" Duke is a significantly different performance than the swash-buckling Jack Sparrow. Really I think what people are noticing is a consistency of what a director wants from him. He's worked with Tim Burton a multitude of times, and Gore Verbinski clearly has a certain expectation over what he wants out of Depp. Let's not forget this guy also gave us Gilbert Grape, Chocolat, and Art of the Deal.
  7. This is very much not true. The most you can say is that Jack Sparrow has bled into a few of his other performances.
  8. We all know how political projections go these days.
  9. Just finished Season 4 of The Blacklist on Netflix a few days back. Which is all they have up at the moment. I hope it get's renewed for a 6th season, because I haven't enjoyed a long running series this much in a long time.
  10. Yeah, that to. It's easy enough to find good people to play with. Even just by friending the few people that you enjoyed from match making.
  11. but you have left 4 dead 2 in there If you play on nightmare it actually becomes unfun if all you do is lone wolf or **** around. It also had a better community early on.
  12. I don't understand, but I adore it.
  13. Yeah, but it wasn't just the title crawl that set the tone. It was also the whole intro. Having the intro end with you embarking I think will set the tone perfectly.
  14. Ships and jet-packs are cool. But you need some honest gameplay to really merit those sorts of features. I just don't think Airships and Jetpacks are interesting if they are primarily a way to navigate the world. Even if it is a multi-planetary open world game. If I don't get Ratchet & Clank styled arcade space shooter sequences, or sky racing. Then basically all that technology infrastructure will be for naught in my opinion. I hope they go more R&C with this game, as in bespoke levels and sequences with a partially ordered game progression. Less Star Citizen, No Man's Sky.
  15. I don't know why, but the fact that Pillars starts out with a storytell involving a covered wagon on a precarious back country trail really sets the whole feel of the Eastern Reach for me. It's just the perfect landscape which to start out one's journey. I've seen more than one person say they want to start out back in the Dyrwood, and I have to agree. I want that feeling of embarking from familiar lands out into the unknown.
  16. Just finished Stranger Things S2. Loved it. Apparently S3 won't be until 2019... omg that's so long... Sometimes when David Harbour delivered a line, it would sound exactly like Harrison Ford. I can't tell if it's just his voice, or he's trying to establish a certain sound for Hopper's character. But it is uncanny how much it's like Ford.
  17. I think I'd take a spiritual successor, a fresh job of paint could lead to a new IP with legs. But I did really love what they were doing with that game.
  18. I must be entirely deaf the the sarcasm in this thread, I'm usually better at picking up on it. What really annoys me is that one of the arguments against net neutrality is to "save bandwidth" for critical infrastructure. But the reality is, critical infrastructure should have it's own dedicated lines being ran, and often does. So it doesn't make sense to infringe upon the average consumer with regards to ISPs that primarily service the average end user.
