The strongest beta build
Hmm, power level gives you bonuses and not only source for using abilities? Damn, I'm bad

The strongest beta build
Seems like there is onlyy one reason to stay single classed, and that's Weapon Proficiency at 19th level... Still 20 vs 27 abilities, I have doubts this Weapon Proficiency will be powerful enough to cover 7 abilities. Multiclass > Single-Class Edit: forgot this is not BG weapon proficiency system ... it's just lame adding more weapons to activate modals... So, definitely not worth it... Empower - not using it as well, beta has no need in it... There still may be some OP skills for power level 8 - 9, still I don't think they worth such limitations. Time will tell though.

Frowning upon proficiency page as a monk
Maybe Cantor will do fine with AP debuffs?

The strongest beta build

[Request] Arena Mode
Long time ago I've done a poll with almost similar question. Majority (80% of forum dwellers) lean towards only single player, without any arenas https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/92159-duel-multiplayer-pvp-poe-ii-deadfire/

Ranting about watcher transfer
Can't do anything with myself. I'm a sucker for stats

The strongest beta build
Pretty much that. There is no reason not to take all that very powerful class determining abilities. It would be good only if at certain power level, not reachable by multi class, there are some insane abilities, no other options.

Ranting about watcher transfer
At least three of them are pretty important for the story line, if Deadfire is influenced by PoE I story line... I'm certain there will be dragons in Deadfire, so Scale-Breaker ability would be nice. But if the skill is not transferred, it's pretty obvious decision to free Adra Dragon. Or blood pool decision - might be game changing, still useless if the talent is not transferred. I'm just thinking to make another run according to what I saw in Deadfire beta... But if it matters a lot how to go through according to these talents.

Will the Barbarian Mage Slayer be as bad as Baldur's Gate's Wizard Slayer?
Eh? In PoE mages have like the best defenses... With deflection over 200 they aren't so "easily butchered"

Ranting about watcher transfer
Playing some beta, seeing how the new skill system works, Do you feel in Deadfire transferred character will remain his talents from PoE I such as: Gift from the machine The Merciless Hand / Second Skin / Mob Justice Flick of the Wrist Dozens Luck Mental Prowess and blood pool sacrifice bonuses? I have doubts... Cause it's not mandatory to finish PoE I to start Deadfire, and I don't think there will be a choice to choose all these talents for new Deadfire character... Still transferred character from PoE I to PoE II would have such immanence advantage having these! I wish they would be transferred though... What do you think?

I wonder when new beta patch will go live fixing most of all found bugs... Tried Transmutor / Devoted on clubs, seems weaker, still interesting choice Have somebody tried Monk / Priest ?

Rumblings about AI, PvP, character transition etc.
That question was almost one year old For now I care only for the traits from the first game. I have some doubts that we will get those, cause they are pretty powerful and for sure, someone who never played PoE I will create new character and it will be awkward just to choose from these perks. I guess there will be something like your soul was drained off every boon you had in PoE I... Probably some story driven choices will remain like: Adra dragon, Leorik, Defiance Bay fraction, baby Vela, etc.

A very quick plea for Obsidian (combat speed)
Are you certain?

The strongest beta build
Thinking about this build for solo walkthrough, so charm is not a big problem. Also there are some defense perks to cover that will loss. Maybe Wood Elf would be better option too, during immune to Petrify / Paralyze, what I evaluate much more dangerous than Enfeebled. There is some room for tweaks for sure

Rumblings about AI, PvP, character transition etc.
Heh, so much water has flowed since I've made this thread But an actual question remains: Will we get talents transferred from PoE I such as Gift from the machine, The merciless hand / Second Skin, Watcher's knowledge, blood pool sacrifice bonuses. Since we have multi classes and sub classes... Will there be a choice to change profession or should I start over? So many questions...

The strongest beta build
Base stats mig 15 con 20 dex 15 per 15 int 10 res 3 It's just under effects of Swift Strikes and Disciplined Barrage. Plus might gain from Helwalker passive (10 wounds)

The strongest beta build
What's your experience? I think it's Brawler (Devoted / Helwalker) with who weapons in each hand. I guess it doesn't really matter what you will focus on if you maintain instacasting Swift Strikes and Disciplined Barrage. Pros: insane damage burst insane statline Cons: Found none in beta What abut you? Maybe some multi classes with monk / priest could be good too, but so far I like Brawler a lot.

List of bugs I've encountered so far (SPOILERS included)
Transmurot Ogre form seems to be oversized in inventory screen, shouldn't it fit?

When you find Falero, his body glows like lootable, still you can't loot.

Fighter passive - Two weapon style -20%, while it increases action speed seems like distraction. Can it be just something like "increases action speed by 20%" ?

A small typo. There is a spell "Mirrored Image" But when you choose wizard subclass Illusionist, there is a typo in description, there is no spell "Mirrored Images"

the spells of my mercenary wizard
The question is not about grimoire. It's: why level 1 spell is in bracket with level 2 spells when you level up. Is it done intentionally due the power of the chill fog or is it a bug?
