It feels like a tool to keep lower-level items viable longer. It doesn't feel like something fun and enjoyable in it's own right, and that is a legitimate issue.

Some people don't care about the drama because the entire thing is stupid, and want to talk about other ****. Nobody appreciates being dragged into stupid bull**** they don't care about.

Some of the stronghold upgrades provide enchanting ingredients such as the aforementioned Sky Dragon Eyes, either for purchase or random placement into your treasury. That's the only effect that I personally know of.

I'm schizophrenic. I have very high odds of dying and early death due to suicide...or being murdered by a cop. There's a lot of jokes in PoE about hearing voices and such. Do I find it offensive? Yes. Do I bitch and whine about being discriminated against because of some jokes in a video game? Not so much.

On my inventory screen, the hatchet is now...big. Like it breaks the boundaries of an inventory slot, like it had just been clicked on to be moved...only it hasn't.

Minsc and Jaheira are out for personal revenge against Irenicus, so they do. Viconia kind of needs your groups protection or else she'll be killed on sight by pretty much anybody, so she has pretty solid reasons. Aerie literally knows nobody else in the entire country except you and the people at her circus. Other than that, yeah. Solid point. :-D

I find Aerie just one of the worst companions ever. Almost as bad as Jan, but Aerie is also the single most powerful magic user available to the party. So I can't just murder her in an alley and forget about her.

Waidwen wasn't Eothos, himself: Waidwen was the Chosen of Eothas. There's a lore book that describes the scene where Waidwen was first possessed by Eothos in front of a group of villagers, and supposedly Eothas himself described Waidwen (through Waidwens mouth) as his chosen.

Yeah. You will also ignore every reasonable response to every stupid thing you say. Great work on that one kid. Edit : Also solo stealth would break my immersion. Clearly people in the middle of a mortal struggle would notice someone 'sneaking' behind them. Edit 2: actually stealth breaks my immersion. You just cant sneak around in plain sight. It isn't possible. Especially if you are a group of six people in heavy armour with large weapons. And those weapons glow. Not small weapons that glow a little, either. My Barbarian is carrying around a greatsword as big as she is that glows like a small sun...and sneaking.

I'm using a might/con/res barbarian for my off-tank while my MC is a cipher and my MT is Eder. It works out pretty well, all things considered.

My computer was five years old when I backed the game. I'm still using the same computer...only now at least I have a graphics card.
