I would suggest just ignoring the new game then. If you thought ME3 was a dumpster fire, then I don't see how a new ME will possibly be worth your time, money, or energy. Microtransactions are here to stay. It's going to be harder and harder for anyone to resist putting them in. That's just an unfortunate fact of how things have developed. Would you like for your game to continue making revenue long after purchases have leveled out and have next to zero extra expense yes/no. That's often the consideration. I thought Me3 was pretty decent for all its faults. The ending was **** but I can look past that.

Watching The Expanse season 2. It's alternating between bad and really good. There's a sideline with a bunch of Martian marines and they're all terrible actors.

My samsung finally died on me, or rather the battery connector did, I have to spend 5 mins wiggling the charging cable to get it to work. I kinda want to try a windows phone, but just a cheap one since the hardware is kinda bad value compared to something like a Motorolla Android. I'm done with expensive phones. I tend to drop those and shatter the screen a day after I get them. Bluetooth and mobile wifi hotspot functionality and the ability to get an ad blocker to actually work, including youtube. I guess most things could meet those criterea these days. Ohh and battery life. lots of that.

This is ironically such a Russian response through and through. Whenever someone in Russia exposes government corruption the typical response from pro-Putin camp is, "But in America/Europe/etc. they do this too. You're are targeting us. You're doing this to undermine our country. You're an American agent (just like Wikileaks is being labeled a Russian front) etc, etc..." I'd like to point out that Wikileaks doesn't 'target' anyone. They publish leaks. If there had been a bunch of those from North Korea or China they would gladly have published those, but there aren't maybe because 'westerners' ,whatever that means, care more about government transparency and corruption. In other words it's a symptom of giving a **** about these things.

Anyone else think that Trump was worried that there would be a leak about an FBI investigation of some sort into his campaign staff, now I don't think there actually was, but I think he thought it. So he decided to fire first. I thought this up all by myself, I'm so proud.

Anyway rich ****s shouldn't be asking for handouts. I think that's the point ?. Make the public school system good enough for everyone instead.

Bill Mather was commenting on one of the teacher-student relationships which get a lot of attention. It's from 20 years ago, she was 30 something and he was 14. Yes, these things are always problematic for obvious reasons, but he doesn't really think it's more likely to be abusive than a regular regular relationship. The condemnation is because we can't allow for a situation where it isn't, it's our moral outrage which isn't necessarily supported by the facts of a specific situation. It isn't automatically abusive, but of course with one side being in such a decisive position of authority the potential is rather terrifying. So, there are still good reasons for punishing people who seek out these relationships. That said, I can't really imagine 14 year old me would have had any issues with banging my hot English teacher.

Maybe they are deliberately trying not to do bull shots or tart up gameplay.

That's my point, don't blame controller for developer's lack of skill. Why isn't controller remapping a thing. I get pissed whenever single keyboard keys are reserved and can't be remapped. Seems to me it would be the easiest thing in the world to include in the console's software and and a shared resource for all games. Also, why isn't mode switch a thing anymore. Essentially an alt key for your controller that gives you twice as many options. Say you want to use a skill, spell, whatever hold down a button and presto every button on your controller is now a skill button.

Not interested in a DLC that is just another faction. Fix the game first.

Projects happen whenever the government is forced to build large amounts of affordable housing. To no one's surprise they wind up being full of poor people who rent instead of own, thus not caring much about their surroundings. Crime inevitably follows. No particular race or culture is required but it just so happens that the people at the bottom with fewer resources, options and struggling with discrimination and such are often immigrants. They should just gift houses to people in need and don't put any of them in the same place. It will work out cheaper in the long run. Or maybe tell them to hold down a job for 5 years and the house is yours ?. Reward merit that way.
