  1. I kinda sortof enjoyed the reboot. The in combat QTE last time around you had to do a sort of minigame where you got two circles into each other to carry out a melee special. Obviously that is the most retarded thing ever. Is that still in ?.
  2. Has anyone played Rise of the Tomb Raider ?. There is some suggestion that it might actually have recaptured the best of the exploration and puzzles of the first games. I don't want to jump in based on reviews though, been burned before.
  3. Oh
  4. Am I getting this right, are they paying 40% to a crowd funding service. That's just plain stupid, unless there is something sinister going on, in which case that's just plain sinister.
  5. I guess I'm worried they will ruin it with multiplayer balancing. Those heroes look very MOBA and I expect deploying most other unit types will mostly be an afterthought. This translates to a boring single player experience to me.
  6. How about the 88 mm flak, if we are talking about the quintessential nazi gun. I mean they put one on the Tiger tank.
  7. Stop buying ****ty PC ports. Those people are the real problem you know, they make the publishers think they can save money and cut corners on the porting.
  8. What defines a country really. Is it language or cultural differences because those aren't that great in Europe. I think narrowly local entities, counties, burrows, whatever you want to call them should have a large degree of self control. Beyond that you need a central authority to take care of common interests, education, policing, defence, healthcare and so on. Nations when they project self interest towards their competitors are harmful entities, they should be done away with. We should be thinking ahead, toward the subjugation of space and the enslavement of alien species.
  9. I signed up for the gwent beta. Never would have predicted that. I usually hate fancy card games.
  10. Anyone played Nuka World ?. Is it worth reinstalling Fallout for.
  11. It's pretty and the weapons are good, could do with a bit more enemies on screen at the same time for that true DOOM feel though. Not sure I like all the busywork of upgrades and rune challenges though, I would prefer being given an actual thing each time instead of 1/5 of what I need to buy the next tier. The automap is in 3d, needlessly confusing and zoomed too far in every time you access it, just make it 2d and overlay levels with different colours. I want to know where I am when I press it not what the next bend of the tunnel looks like.
  12. Doom. It's alright.
  13. Nope, sry Xcom is the gold standard, are we holding up Wasteland 1 over Xcom. About 25% of kickstarter games actually release as full titles. So yes I'm with the one at a time sentiment. Other than that, looks interesting.
  14. Why what were you expecting that would have made it less boring ? The presidential debates are not suppose to be about theatre and entertaining people , they are suppose to be about discussing the issues. They did debate things like the birther controversy, the ISIS strategy, aspects of the economy, tax returns and other topics People keep saying " the debate was boring " so I am interested in what people would like from the agenda ? Trump freaking out ?, that would have been entertaining.
  15. Just watched the highlights, man that was boring.
  16. ohh yeah, the lottery thing would be easier. Although maybe I would turn into evil Marty Mcfly.
  17. Borrow as much and you can and buy realestate just after the housing bubble burst.
  18. I dislike level dependent loot generalted by random tables in general. If loot has level restrictions I don't want more than three tiers or thereabouts. A good sign is if you can find an item early on that you like and wind up using for most of the game. Really developers should place most loot and only randomly generate the inconsequential stuff. So often loot drops make you feel like one of the sad old ladies playing the one armed bandits at the casino. They win just often enough to keep them playing, but the sensation is never enough to keep them away for very long. A lot of science went into feeding them just the right gameplay loop to condition their dopamine receptors to listen for the reward sound, that *ping* of a purple or gold drop, insert three oranges or whatever pays out on a slot machine. Even if you win big, you are still conditioned to keep going, that's how the house wins every time. In an MMO they make your purple drop level dependent and switly lose its value as you earn more XP. This was mostly my experience of Skyrim and Witcher 3 as well, but at least in those games you could get better gear by crafting or hunting down wicher gear and more or less escape from the grind.
  19. Is there a followup. I want to know if he had a stroke or if he lost a bet.
  20. So they can collect from the microtransactions again I presume.
  21. Is it accessible from the main game or do you have to start over like the should have been a preorder bundle mission thing
  22. Well for mankind divided they were busy making the game when a few months before launch the execs came over and basically said 'drop what you are doing and implement microtransactions'. That's probably an exaggeration, I don't believe this ending was as originally intended though. Maybe it was going to be chapter based like Hitman and they concluded that that model was not turning out to be a success.
  23. Got the Doom reboot because a couple of people said it plays old school, like before the age of cover based health regeneration. Downloading nearly 55 gigs. What the hell.
  24. I kinda wanna play Bloodborne, not like I'm getting a console just for that though. Other than that... wait two months for dishonoured I suppose.
  25. Sooo. hows using that 64gb. Does it feel any different, what applications are showing an impact ?. I'm asking because 64 gb kits got really cheap all of a sudden.
