Well, regardless they are surely going the way of Blockbuster sooner or later. No need for physical media anymore.

Well, it says 'Only British citizens or UK residents have the right to sign'. That makes me a sad kitteh. I stopped going to Gamestop after I found out the sellers have a quota. If you go in an buy one new game you **** up their day. They have to sell you two used games for every one new. They keep all the profit on a used game. If their stats don't show that they get fired. It's so two decades ago. There is just so much social engineering going on, every seller is your best friend and tries to remember your name, makes me wann puke.

I'm not sure that constitutes a U turn back onto good idea.

^^ See what I mean, that's how it's done.

Well I understand it's tradition and all, a way of political protest. Still, I think you should get out there more. You have basketball, the rest of the world plays that and you are good at it. American football, baseball, nobody else really cares about that. If you played something the rest of the world cares about and played it regularly in internationals, that people actually followed. Well, that way you could concentrate on hating the Swedes and the Germans. That's much more unifying. I'm projecting here.
-
Why are they doing the nation anthem anyway. Seems highly suspect during a club match. The only. Time you do that is during an international. So you get a chance to shot louder than the opposotion and boo louder when they they try to sing theirs. Singing the anthem during internal club matches seems highly mastubatory

How can people get more than one go during a combat turn. It must be because initiative = an opportunity to use your action points and receiving a helping of recovery ap. i.e. Initiative = number of turns you will have. An initiative 30 has twice the ammount of turns as an initiatiive 15, that's why his card shows up twice in the same turn.

It's mostly for non combat use, income booster. However you can have someone else attack and have the rouge remain hidden while they engage. You lose your first turn though. Still useful if in certain situations, choke points in corridors and whatnot.

I'm at the halfway point, I think, on the volcano island and I've run out of steam. It's a good game but I can't take anymore. I'll do another run when I have vacation sometime. Lone wolf makes certain things easier but status effects are much more deadly. You can really ramp up damage though and make several kills on your first turn, which becomes near impossible with a full party. Also, there is a ring that grants stun immunity on the beginner island, assuming it wasn't random generated, I'm keeping that next time.

And then some! Ive also never seen: Gone With the Wind, Casablanca, Its a Wonderful Life, Citizen Cane, etc. *runs* They made me sit through those in film class when i was a kid. They're all terrible. Well, Casablanca isn't terrible. It's kinda charming actually, but the rest. Don't bother.

So you are one of those weirdos who have never seen The Godfather or The Wire and whose duty it is to be constantly reminded of this particular failing of their life.

I like new edgy Star Trek, Reminds me of Mass Effect. Lots of intense personal drama. It bears no relation to any of the old formula, but time kinda ran out for the old formula anyway. When people say it's not very Star Trek they are probably right. The main character is not very likable though, which is a problem since it's not about the crew anymore. We'll see.

Well that's when someone would make this. After 9/11.

I noticed that the armor bars are often quite different, which would suggest there would be benefit from having an all magic+physical hybrid team. Of course you will lose approximately 50% damage output because you can't max any stats and you will need more invested in memory for the extra skills.
-
Regarding the armor system, as far as I can see your party should be uniform, all capable of physical damage output or magical, or both, but no one mage who can only do magical damage as he will struggle to reduce magic armor fast enough. Except for Necromancy because it has a lot of skills that wear down physical armor, Point being you don't want your party to be working at reducing both bars simultaneously.

My game was killed by exactly the same bug as the reboot. I had something called a Glowing Idol of Rebirth in my backpack. If you do that, if it's away from the normal inventory screen, you become immortal and a spent inactive idol spawns in your inventory every time you die while the active one in your backpack is not removed. So I went from the game being very difficult to not being able to lose a fight. My last untainted save is back on the beginner island. Don't feel like going back that far.
-
There are a few skills that penetrate armor, but there aren't enough of them to kill an enemy that way, so what's the point really. Armor penetration cannot make a difference. Maybe at later levels there will be more things that set statuses through armor.

How much is there. I found a dragon, can't talk to It, I assume I'm supposed to come back for it later. I'm doing the sourceking laborymth thing now and I'm assuming that's it for the first island. I also switched on tactical mode, which wasn't as bad as I thought. One advice though, don't take 'glass cannon' for the extra AP. The first thing that happens in every engagement is loads of negative effects on my character, I barely ever get to reap the benifits. Does lone wolf trigger when all your party is dead. It bloody well ought to, otherwise what's the point.

whats a tradcat ? -
I tend regard final boss fights as final. If they aren't interesting I'll just give up and let the game win.

I made my own multi class rogue aeromancer and it sortof works. The biggest problem being dependent attributes, if you are a rouge you are kinda stuck with daggers, otherwise you can't backstab. I had to sink a point into strength as well because all the leather armors are ugly. A lot of classes benefit from tier one skills from other classes provided it's governed by the right attribute. More options is often more important than more damage.

It's missing weapon sets for dual wielding. So it's 4 or 5 clicks if you want to switch to a bow using a dual wield character. Rookie move.
