    TV: Heroes

It not very good anymore. Accept it and move on.
  2. Maybe the plot wasn't very good, but I liked the areas.
  3. Not to say that photoshop is a better drawing program, it's not, and for people who aren't used to juggling 10 layers painter is maybe the better option, there are just a lot of things about it I don't like.
  4. Painter doesn't make it look more 'natural', it makes it look painterish rather than photoshoppy. Things like the pretty, and also recognizable, algorithms like water paining. If your work looks a certain way because you are using photoshop, you don't know what you are doing
  5. MotB is a quality game, you could say it restored my faith in Obsidian as RPG developers. I played both the others, but they didn't leave any lasting impressions.
  6. Looking healthy signifies good genes 'beauty' is a cultural and social construct entirely unrelated. Plenty of examples of beauty ideals that are unhealthy. One Another
  7. I dislike everything about the painter interface except how the zoom function works on the canvas. I couldn't find a single brush I could use without modification out of the millions there for the picking. On the other hand Photoshop does not allow you to save detail settings like brush opacity, only the basic shape, pressure, and movement dynamics, which means you have to start over again every bleedin' time you need a new one. Also I don't know what you mean by 'fake blurry', if anything looks fake it's all those gimmick brushes in painter. To top it all off each brush type is keyed to a specific 'canvas', the painter version of photoshop layers, and can't be used with other canvases without rasterising the entire file, destroying any option for later editing. A computer program is not a piece of paper, I'd call that a strength rather than a weakness. You can get a canvas with infinitely better resolution at your local art supply store, and a lot cheaper too.
  8. If you are so concerned about your bank account how about the US cutting deep into defense spending. There is enough there to take from to include a tax break, and lets face it, it has never really been 'defence' spending since WW2, and with the cold war gone a direct threat to US soil seems entirely implausible. Why is such a large percent of BNP spent on defense not viewed as an attack on your freedom, and your wallets, in the same sense as UHC. I think it's a fair question.
  9. That would be a pretty big download, I think. Amazingly it comes to only 324 kb.
  10. I'm going to go with two Harvard Researchers over you, sorry. Doesn't really matter how accurate the number is, people should not be afraid to go to the hospital because of the bills. Shouldn't happen in a civilised country.
  11. I tend to join ad hoc groups of people who are already there to play the mission rather than clans, rather I think the word is guilds*, I go alone if I don't trust people to stay the course or if the only people available are all capping asshats.
  12. I have an inkling that being a successful repulblican in opposition depends a lot on portraying strong character, and of course you need to break through the wall of general boredom. The plebs respond well to direct language. Don't assume anything is spontaneous, there were cameras after all.
  13. I hope they keep the in-game cleavage and lose the postcards, they are just so indescribably stupid. Sex is fine, but does it have to be a minigame. At least it stops short of player input.
  14. I played the witcher all the way to the end, twice, doesn't happen often. I'll get excited when it comes out.
  15. The gentleman duels with the saber. I mean it would be amusing but also over pretty fast with a MAC 10.
  16. Free speech is great, it lets you distinguish idiots from the rest of society in no uncertain terms. A much greater benefit on the whole than the divisions that can be created with hate language. It should be theoretically possible for a white person to use the word **** for comic relief, I can't think of any instances where it actually was funny, but everything is circumstance, the words themselves aren't evil, it's the intent behind them that is important.
  17. On Kianu Reeves, he can be vulnerable and show emotion, it's just that for 90% of the parts he plays he doesn't need anything but his pokerface.
  18. If you base a relationship on whether or not the other person has any money that is pretty sad. These days with the crisis and all you might want to work but be quite unable to land a steady job.
  19. Yes studies show young men coupling up with wealthy older (30 is not old) women who are the breadwinners, these younger men become something akin to 1950 housewives, including mandatory sex. Not a bad gig if you can find it.
  20. Your information is not very useful, she could be thinking about a million things, or just saying what was on her brain. Not necessarily evaluating you for your gene potential. I'm LOF, jump in at the deep end and ask her.

  22. It's a bit like those people who claim FPS gaming is a 'sport'. It's about recognition I suppose.
  23. It's probably one of those policies that shift the cost to the user if he/she starts claiming anything, like your car insurance going up if you have been in an accident. The ideal customer isn't sick, and isn't likely to become sick.
