Gaming & power usage
Yeah it's pretty scary. According to the comparison chart that came with my last bill I average the same as a family of three. I'm trying to get a handle on it by putting the computer power lines into the same extension and purposely switching it off whenever I leave the house or sit down to read.

Dead Space
It's pretty good, although the levels get a bit copy paste after a while. They designed the aiming for console meaning that in order to achieve a satisfactory aim response on a mouse you have to jack up the sensitivity so high you will be doing circles around yourself every time you try to turn around. It's like mouse movement in the middle of the screen, where you would be aiming, is slowed down to a crawl to accommodate those handicapped with a controller.

You are being silly, he said no such thing.

Is this possible?
...and when all your trails are over you are going to love Assassin's Creed for it's combat system and graphics, then slowly realize that the designers are playing some kind of twisted Clockwork Orange joke on you with the cutscenes and eventually lose interest completely.

I'm guessing he wants to link in one of the Clinton pardons.

It makes a difference in law in many countries. I think the idea here is that an older adult will have all sorts of advantages in manipulating a very young person, and ought to know better. This is not necessarily the case if they are the same age. 13 is definitely too young. I suppose that's a personal judgment, but why push the limit, find someone closer to your own age instead.

Depends on the age of both, no need to even ask that a question if you are an adult. You bloody well know.

He should answer to those charges. If it was just some gold digger or a consenting (don't know if that's even possible) affair, would he have left his entire life behind to escape it ?. He's had a terrible time, but that doesn't mean anything to this case.

Piranha Bytes RPG teaser site
Nice, Gothic 3 music was the best part about it. I have to order Risen from overseas because it was banned in Aus, because it contained pissing. And the important part, can we put any skill points into pissing ?

Americans set to get standardised/universal healthcare
Hormones mess with your own hormone balance, leftovers from livestock immune booster shots raise your resistance to antibiotics, that's why there are maximum allowable levels of either. That's not ecology mumbo jumbo, that's established fact.

Americans set to get standardised/universal healthcare
Also, one would need to demonstrate a causal link between UHC and not taking care of yourself because the govt will fix you up for free. Otherwise it's just so much talk.

Logistically there are advantages to servicing everyone. You can make the most of every MRI scanner at your disposal, you can structure facilities to match population centers and move staff around to match needs. It's about seeing the 'big picture', the same reason government takes the lead in public works that are only going to pay off in the long term. Would the Hoover Dam ever have been built if left entirely to market forces.

The real stuff has a documented euphoric, some say aphrodisiac effect.

The models look pretty ugly. I've got a thing about fugly avatars, especially if I'm going to be looking at brickhead for 100 hours. Hopefully something other than quick death will ensue if you ever press the block button for any reason.

Woman makes national news by complaining library wouldn't lend her scissors
My mom told me about this workman she had read about in the paper. He was in his work car, carrying a box cutter for work purposes, being pulled over by the police and cited for carrying an illegal weapon. He lost his job when he decided to contest the fine in court and got thrown in jail. He did nothing that all his colleagues don't still do every day. I guess the moral of the story is 'don't ever think you are right, and that that is enough'.

Movies you have seen recently
I dunno, I thougth Army of Darkness was a bit too standard fantasy fare in places. My favorite is Evil Dead 2, since it's basically #1 made with a bigger budget. If you haven't spent time going through 1980s and 1990s splatter and horror section at your local video store it's status as a classic probably doesn't make a lot of sense.

Looks like first year film student crap to me.

Clive Owen and Jason Strackham are notorious for their bad action movies. Once in a while they are in real movies where they generally perform above average.

Editing Technique
In those same Japanese horror movies the ghost is always a girl with giant hair, which does all the killing for her. Apparently that's a rule now.

I haven't seen it yet, but I plan to. RAF is fascinating for a myriad of reasons. It's sort of the idealist's slow journey into radicalism and terrorism. I dunno what use it has in an art class, maybe for depicting a period of American cultural invasion, consumerism and 'hippiedom' both.

Hell yeah!
Well it would be cheaper if we didn't have to get everything in orbit first. That's where the moon comes in. Sensors and robots are probably more practical though.

I like this folksy bit from the witcher. Also the bossfight with the leader of Salamander, couldn't find that.

Dark omen soundtrack (BATTEL 2) It's probably just what the file was called in the game folder.
