  1. You didn't have to kill Firkraag(the dragon in BG2), it was optional. As for the items, well that is the reason why we want to kill them, also that is purely a balancing issue.
  2. Reality?!? What? Anyways, those impossible fights are so sweet when you figure out how to win them, I would argue that they where a big (if not the biggest) part of the IE games. I still remember the Chimera fight at the ice temple in IWD2, or my first dragon in BG2. To tie in on this, why would you get the same amount of xp for doing something that is hard in this example a "hard fight" and for sneaking past the enemy. In my opinion that is just encouraging people to quit from those impossible fights, and go for an easier route.
  3. Well at least wizard/sorceress can go full bikini mode.
  4. I said that no one is forcing the player to exploit the system, you can play the game just how it was "designed" to be played. Why does it diminish the game for you that someone exploits it, play it how you want it, you have the freedom to do so. As for those badly designed parts of IE games, well I guess we will see if they where truly bad when P:E comes out.
  5. But what I can't wrap my head around is, why remove/disable those kind of things, it's just taking away some of the freedom from the player. I mean no one is forcing you to play the game that way, but whit those changes they are forcing us in to their mold. I guess it's their game to make, but my opinion is that they really didn't like the mechanics of the IE games. Fixed! I don't really get your point. It would serve the purpose of rewarding the player.
  6. Aaaaah, I remeber that one from DAO.
  7. I remember that there where sex scenes in both of them and I remember them being very awkward, must have forgotten about the bjs.
  8. Wait, what? There was a blowjob? Also "Sailing is like sex. Do it wrong, and it'll make you sick." first time I heard of this one.
  9. I wonder how they will make dwarf sex tasteful?
  10. Naked sex in DA:I, you heard it here first folks. http://www.pcgamer.com/2013/10/14/dragon-age-inquisition-developer-wants-sex-scenes-to-feel-more-mature-and-tasteful/
  11. I think that this incessant striving realism will be the undoing of PE. Next thing I expect to see is them doing away with the magic altogether.
  12. Not so sure about that IE gameplay, but the rest stands. Also the stronghold.
  13. Well I am running a semi broken setup with a q6600, so it's not really feasible for me to wait for skylake. Also I am not really interested in PCIe 4, as for the faster DDR4, I don't really think it will show much real world difference.
  14. This so much, plus I wanted to save up and go for the 8 core version. Idk, I will probably still wait. When you give a thousand euros, a hundred more is not that much.
  15. Mine too, although I just found out that the tax on IT equipment is going from 8% to 20% in November in my country, so that 4770k looks really good now...
  16. Are you waiting for Haswell-e?
  17. Don't, you are free brother. RUUUUUUUN!!!
  18. I don't think that it would work that well considering how the classes where designed in P:E.
  19. Maybe fighters will have higher consistent damage output, as in the damage done over time would be equal or higher then that of the rouges. What I'm really bothered with is paladins being passive meat shields, I really hope they get a Holy Avenger type weapon to offset their low stats.
  20. Or you are just seeing what you want to see, as can be gathered from your first sentence.
  21. This is my greatest fear for project eternity. I really want it to succeed and be the true successor of the IE games.
  22. And as you can see from whiping barrel and smoke traces, bullets go every where but target. Once he zoned in on the target it was pretty accurate, the aiming wouldn't be much different from a mount.
  23. Genetic exceptions, there are women out there that have a much denser muscle mass, but they are very rare (and in most cases it's just elevated testosterone levels).
  24. We are talking about the whole world here are we not? If we are then I stand by what I said, there are rare exceptions where women are stronger then men (but only average/to above average strength men(or the upper average if you will)).
  25. Funny how you think being a solider is about aiming. Men and women are not equal, if you find that offensive complain to nature. See the russian sniper corps during WWII. Snipers are a small branch of the military and you can't wage war with snipers. Also women can be soldiers, as can be seen today and from history, but that doesn't change the fact that they are not equal to men in that role. Though there are rare exceptions of strong women, they are only stronger then the average strength man. What people here don't seem to get is that being a solider is mostly about carrying heavy things running long distances with those things, and then once in a very rare while shooting at something/someone from cover with little to no aiming (excepting snipers). No one here is being sexist, but facts are facts, man are better then women in doing physical things. Sports are a good indicator of that, as we can see in them the separation of the male and female leagues.
