Damn you are right, I mixed it up with this http://mikesrpgcenter.com/bgate2/maps/ar0205.html(talk about reusing areas http://mikesrpgcenter.com/bgate2/maps/ar2101.html). You could bypass the whole thing with mass invisibility. As for the summons, they are a lesser cheese to me then the shield of the Baldurian, but I guess it is a kind of reward for investing in to the shield early game without previous knowledge.

@Cubiq It is really no ones fault that you are bad at the game, auto-pause on encounter is there for a reason, use it. The beholder lair is not a sucker punch, it's just you being unprepared. As for me not remembering every single dialogue in the game, well so what, you had the game installed and still had to go back and check it, and by the look of things you are still in the underdark area. You can wine and be rude all you want, I showed you that you can avoid the conflict, that you don't know how to use the features of the game is no ones fault but your own. On my first play through I didn't even have the shield of Baldurian, I just summoned elementals and let them aggro the Beholders. As for the first room it's not that bad, especially if you auto-pause. Not to mention that you can cast mass invisibility and just go to the main chamber and kill the Boss Beholder, thus avoiding most of the conflict if you want, but who would want to miss all that xp.

You bought your fruitbasket in Russia, can we see a picture?

I don't know if anyone has been following Obama's interviews on the issue of Crimea, but in one of his recent ones he states that Kosovo and Crimea are two different cases and right afters tells how Kosovo had a referendum, which is a straight up lie. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GfO-cXnx0uE

He gives you general info about the area and you should follow his info, instead you explored and payed the price. I personally never had the issues you encountered, nor have I heard anyone complain about the Beholder area, in fact I have heard people complain about the Illithid more. Also if you used auto-pause you could have easily backtracked out of the area. I don't think you really get what a sucker punch is. That is the price of non-linearity and speeding through without information.

No it isn't, you first meet the merchant who you can question about the Underdark, then you meet and fight the Drow and only then can you go past and to the south east part of the Underdark. Also I don't know about you but players usually explore the whole map before going further. So no, it's not luck, it's just you speeding through the game without reading the dialogue and exploring the whole map. A sucker punch would have been if you had to go there, no one forced you to go off map.

Ah, so he is accurate, but Zoraptor, 213374U and sorophx aren't? I haven't seen anything so far that would make them seem like Russian apologists, in fact if anyone has seen the situation objectively, it's them. While you and the rest of your cronies insist on painting the picture black and white, while also making the Russians out to be the villains of the world.
-
Instead you were raised as a Russophobic.

Because it's not, when Ukraine was a satellite state of Russia it had a discount price, now that it's a satellite state of the EU it pays EU prices. It is the right of Russia to set any price it wants on the things it exports, why is that even in question?

Another Icewind Dale kickstarter?
Sarex replied to Archaven's topic in Pillars of Eternity: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
Yes it had Cera Sumat and you know what the best thing was. If you imported you characters in to the HoF mode you could get an even stronger version of it and you dual wield 2 Holy Avenges. -
Another Icewind Dale kickstarter?

Are you saying those game are the same as IWD? IWD is pretty much the same as BG, other then it being linear. I don't think there is anything in BG that you couldn't/didn't do in IWD. -
Making it different

Sadly all journalist are useless, the whole profession has become a joke. But hey let's not derail the thread. -
Point taken, but the last sentence is what worries me. What I gathered from the Obsidian interviews is that they want to make this in to a successful franchise. Now did they mean that they want it to find a healthy market(beyond kickstarter), or simply satisfying the people who kickstarted it so they can go another round (sequel/exp). I guess it's a question of if they have ambition to make a big studio out of Obsidian or if they are fine with getting paychecks for making games they love(?).

Another Icewind Dale kickstarter?

That is why it was mentioned that it should be self funded. As for the Torment kickstarter, what that games turns out to be, remains to be seen. I am not very optimistic, but hey, I am also not very interested in it too. -
Another Icewind Dale kickstarter?

Why? When IWD obviously worked. At the time it sold even more then the lauded Torment. -
Foot meet mouth again! The protests and the change of Milosevic regime happened after the war. He was good for our country, the standard of living was better then. So NATO has nothing to do with what I was talking about. You are so ignorant, but you involve your self in every discussion. That is a really bad combination. I didn't want it both ways. This time it blew up in their face. It's not the same as doing it to Serbia, which only has its self to look out for its interests and doing it to Ukraine which is tied to Russia. They tried it they mostly failed, they didn't lose anything expect a paltry amount of cash. If things keep going the way they are, they even gained west Ukraine as a puppet state.

Because you are a genus who would have done everything 100 times better, right? Must be easy for you, toppling governments and predicting the actions of superpowers.
-
Bruce why must you always spout nonsense? What do you know about Milosevic? Why was he bad? After his fall, the next regime robed my country blind, they privatized all the national equities and funneled all the money out of the country, not to mention the debt my country has now. They got rid of him because he wasn't doing what Clinton and Blair asked from him and after the war his regime was sufficiently weakened to be forcefully toppled. He was not bad for this country, though he was bad for the interests of the west. "Its a question of " what is best for the region" and " what is the current regime in a particular country doing with its power, is it benefiting its citizens"" Like in Iraq and Egypt and Syria? I won't even mention the CIA trained death squads that exist to keep countries destabilized. I swear dude, you just keep putting your foot in your mouth.
