As far as I know Thor didn't get his name because of hammer, even in the comics. Thor is Thor, with or without the hammer. Though this is just me nitpicking, it isn't that important. That is more of Marvels (DCs?) fault, then the readers. They need to give an actual **** to make a new character instead of just shoving it in to an existing comic as a cameo/spinoff. I don't know if marvel shoved the words down his throat or what, but in the end it doesn't matter, he gave the interviews and said those things. As for the rest I don't really know what happens in the latest issues, so I can't really comment. I'll catch up on thor and get back to you.

Do you want to know whats wrong with it from the story/mythology stand point, or do you want me to tell you how pathetic it is that they can't push out an original female character that anyone would pay attention to? I mean even now they need the original Thor to appear in every issue to move the story. But hey they put out a safety net, that confirms that Thor will get his powers back eventually. I wouldn't have minded if they made a clean break and said, hey we want a girl thor, we will make her interesting and independent, but you need big balls to do that kind of stuff, instead now we get original Thor going through every issue hunting down her identity and what not. Even all this would not have been bad in and of it self had they not made such a big PR deal out of the female thor and how she will be a strong and independent character. Well I got news for you, she ain't that...

Avengers 2, a good movie, on par with number one. Still I think it was a little too long.

But in the middle of it all there shines a true American hero who never falters from his ideals, so all of that is ok, because if the system does come crashing down he will be there to save us. As I said, most of marvels movies are like that and captain America even more so, because he is...well captain America. This is my, probably colored, opinion. QFT

True, true, though there is still that patriotic undertone (murica rulez), but then again that is present in almost all marvel movies. Still captain America kind of oozes it. I agree with you that the second one was better then the first one, but that still didn't make it better then ok, at least for me.

Thor 2 sucked compared to the first one, as for Captain America both were kind of ok. Guess you need to be an American to dig captain America.

Watched Code Geass: Boukoku no Akito, so far it's ok, but it's getting pretty close to the category of "This sequel/prequel doesn't exist". Why? As I said so far it's ok and that is not a bad thing considering it's in the shadow of the original. Two episodes are out, with the third one hitting the net any day now and two more after. I'm definitely going to see where this goes, hope I don't regret it. Also Kekkai Sensen still kicks ass (on it's fifth episode), definitely give it a go.

Build Thread 2.0
OK, it's crunch time and I'm kind of having doubts about the LG. The price is not really the issue, I'm just having doubts because of it being ultra wide. Also there are some build quality concerns, as I found out on deeper investigation but they are not common so it's not really a big issue. I think it's going to be the LG-34UM95-P or Dell U2715H. I really like the Dell because you can change the orientation of the screen to vertical, and that is very useful for reading manga/comics. So what do you guys think is ultra wide really that useful or is it better to go for a standard aspect ratio. Any thoughts and opinions are appreciated.

I think the mods are hopping the thread runs it self out, so they don't have to make a V2 of it. XD

Dragon Age: Inquisition
I'm still willing to give it a shot, it deserves that much.

Though that was a pretty good point you must admit.

Idk, I prefer the DC universe to that of Marvel. To me DC always had more substance to it, though I never went terribly deep in to Marvel. The only books I follow from Marvel are Deadpool and Thor, and they kind of killed Thor with this new female thor stuff. As far as the movies go, Nolan's Batman blows anything from Disney/Marvel out of the water. All that being said, Manga blows western comics out of the water, so there is that.

Struggling to finish
Disclaimer right of the bat: I haven't played the finished game yet. Didn't matter then and it won't matter now. Enough people bought the game (I think) for them to continue the formula as is. Most people who like/dislike the game won't bother stating their opinion and will just buy or not buy the next game. I'm sure that a few things will improve in the next one (better AI, higher level characters and items) but I really think that the fundamentals will stay the same. The real result of the game will show it self when the time comes to buy PoE2. I guess the only hope for people who want a next Baldurs Gate game are the guys at Beam Dog and that is kind of sad. But hey, maybe they surprise us and make a good game...

Dragon Age: Inquisition
This is going to be the first game in a long while that I didn't finish, let alone 100%. I stopped playing it a month ago, but I recently realized that I have no wish to go back to it. I think I was even near the end (2 main missions away). The game is way too long, for the gameplay it offers. The most detrimental thing for it, in my case, is that I like to finish all side quest/challanges before moving the main plot forward. What got me the most was the lack of the auto-attack function, I would have sludged through the tedium that is the combat, if it had that option. (I have done it many times in many games, DA2 being the obvious example) As far as the story is concerned... well I guess it wasn't good enough to cover for the abysmal combat. I really hope that PoE is not a repeat of the same issues (bad combat and a story not good enough to cover for it).

Pretty much. I'll probably wait for the next gen of graphics and get the x80 series.

I think this is the monitor I'm going for. It's 100 dollars more expensive in my country, but performance wise it's pretty solid. The lag is ok, for it's size and type of panel and the refresh rate is 60. Probably gonna pull the trigger on it next month or the one after.

Sleep : How much you have ?
Less and less as time goes by... Though I can usually get 7 hours of sleep, as long as I go to bed early enough. I need to start exercising, I'm pretty sure that would fix things, but yeah I'm lazy...

Anime - the emotional rolercoaster.
Anime spring season has started. Haven't seen anything that is overly interesting yet. Shokugeki no Soma is good, but I'm already reading the manga. It's still fun to see it animated. Plastic Memories had a ok/good pilot and it's an original anime so that's a plus. It really depends with how they develop the story, has potential. Seen a couple of more series but other then those 2 nothing really sticks out yet.
