  1. Rent a portable forklift and it should make things much easier, unless it's on the second floor.
  2. You very well could be right. I am certainly looking at it subjectively as someone who has read the manga for years. I like it. But it could be for the simple reason that at the point in my life I was over saturated by the Fantasy genre and this was simply something fresh and new. Book one leaves you dizzy and confused as you are simply dropped in the universe and left to figure stuff out for yourself, but by the end of the book you start to get your bearings and connect some of the dots. I personally had issues with the tail end of the series and the harsh plot shifts that some books had. One of these days I will create a manga thread.
  3. @Bartimaeus
  4. Decided to punish my self by watching Your Lie in April. It's no longer on netflix...Guess I'll go and sleep.
  5. I went in to it hoping to sink the evening watching it. Plans ruined...
  6. Watched the first (it's weekly go figure) episode of Komi-san can't communicate and I have to say they did a pretty good job.
  7. As far as I remember in his case something was stuck in the barrel of the gun and the blank shot pushed it out like a musket. This one seems like he shot multiple times. So it was either live rounds, shot from too little of a distance (blanks can kill short range) or maybe they were standing behind one another and the shot went through.
  8. Glad you like it. It has some slow episodes but it's a solid series all the way to the end.
  9. But at least it has character development in spades.
  10. Another recommend. Komi Can't Communicate on netflix. It's a slice of life series about a popular girl in school who has a communication disorder. It's a very sweet and warm series, with some good laughs from time to time. Lot's of character development. Again a disclaimer I only read the manga.
  11. xxxHolic and Noragami, but I would think xxxHolic is more on the "scary" side.
  12. Now that you mention it, yeah, I can't think of one horror anime. It's mostly all either gore, psycho or just plain weird. Maybe it's hard to do cartoon horror. The only cartoon that really ever scared me outside of The Elm-Chanted Forest is Courage the Cowardly dog.
  13. I had to clear my cache after that one... Joking aside I didn't like the music in Samurai C. Anime music I like are things like these.
  14. It's pretty faithful to the books. What did you find boring about it?
  15. Are you telling me you don't like this masterpiece. Am aware this is K-pop, J-pop is wannabe k-pop.
  16. Then I definitely missed it. I kind of want to do it too, but on the other hand I like reading them when I have the whole day free so I can read without interruptions.
  17. Was it mentioned here? I didn't catch it. Maybe they change that event a little to explain it.
  18. So it seems a different actor will be playing Mat in season 2...bummer...
  19. I see that Blue Period anime is out and on Netflix. The manga is pretty good, it even won some awards. The story is about a kid wanting to become a painter and get in to a prestigious art school.
  20. So it seems that geforce leak was true. God of War is up for preorder on steam. I still doubt Ragnarok will come to PC anytime soon.
  21. The original mario was my first game. But the first console I owned was the sega mega 2. I got a PC in 99 and never looked back.
  22. I recommend it too. 😶
