Tales from Earthsea. It was an interesting watch and it kept my attention. I would rate it low for a Ghibli production, but better then Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind which is to say that it was still a very good movie. Lots of things unexplained (why the balance was being destroyed), some that make no sense (why he killed his father) and the ending that was left too open.

I stopped watching it because of the subs. I'll watch it with the fan subs eventually.

No Time to Die. A standard Bond affair, although markedly better than the previous few movies. It kept my attention mostly.

The story is better for whats it's worth and there are some really cool maps. All in all it's an improvement on the previous game, although not as big of a one as I would have liked it to be...

I watched a streamer go through it so I have no issues waiting for the final edition to drop. It looks like it will be a fun game to play, still not sold on the mini game...

I'm just afraid that the absurdity of the story will get old fast, but as of now I'm still interested to see where it goes.

I just wanted to push my glasses up my nose and say actually. A full grain leather coat was the number one item to have if you crash landed in the middle of the desert (not including a satellite phone). It was some survival quiz or some such thing. Most people picked a bottle of water or a map, but the water would not last you long and the map would not be of much use unless you knew where you landed. The coat keeps you cool in the day and warm during the nights.

Actually! One of the best thing you can have in the desert is thick clothes with good insulation. What keeps you warm in the winter also keeps you cool under the scorching sun.

JoJo episode 1-4. This is either really bad or really good, haven't made up my mind yet. The story is so absurd it's making me curious to watch more to see where it's going.

Either way, I'm not advocating boobplate, your comment just struck me as funny. On a tangential note, boobplate does help differentiate character genders in a top down game, as do inflated physiques.

Of all the things that were stupid in PoE, they spent their time fixing something that was for all intents and purposes meaningless. So in a sense it actually made the game worse, as it took their attention and focus (however small).

Yeah, I wasn't sure how much it would appeal to someone who never played it/watched the cinematics. I liked it so far.

They just need to ban crypto mining. I'm pretty sure it will happen once they figure out how much power is wasted on imaginary numbers... Then again imaginary numbers is the whole world economy at this point.

Carol and Tuesday ep.1. It didn't really grab me, it all seems kind of generic so far. I'll give this a couple of more episodes and see where it goes. Yeah I was expecting a story where he made the "right" choices but still didn't make the odds, but what I got was certainly more realistic and soul crushing.

I didn't either, I knew the girl was going to die. Although that just lessened the impact of the into, the rest was still... What's even worse is that it's based on a true story, only the boy lived and felt very guilty thorough his whole life, so he wrote Grave of the Fireflies as an apology. No.

It's not bad. Not too sure about the vocals, but the music is great.

Grave of the Fireflies... This was nothing like I expected it to be. It hits you in the face right of the bat with what the tone of the movie is going to be, but the main character was nothing at all like what I thought. I don't know... I started writing that Seita was immature and that he refused to take responsibility for his sister, but who am I to judge. I would like to think that I would have shared the food even at that age and that I would have begged the aunt to at least take the sister back, but everyone likes to believe the best of themselves... In the end he refused to accept the reality of the situation and that he was not capable to deal with it. This was a torturous experience that I can't say I'm glad I had. I like those two I linked, the rest not so much...but fair enough. They were not in a position to be...

Then I must be tone deaf, I never connect voice actors between characters, let alone know them by name.
