  1. I mean the last one I can think of is Redline and that was a commercial flop as it took ages to finish and get right. I think in the end they just dug too deep of a financial hole to climb out of, but from the looks of it Takeshi Koike paid the price. Which is a shame, as I would loved to see more from him.
  2. I don't remember it being quiet, was it quiet for you too@KP the meanie zucchini? As for the animation, well 2d is very expensive nowadays... I mourn for the 2d hand drawn technique of old.
  3. @KP the meanie zucchini Soooooooooooooooooooooo?
  4. @Gorth is this a reupload, I remember watching this a while ago, but can't remember if it was this one exactly.
  5. Can't wait for you to watch it and hear what you thought of it. I'm trying very hard to hold off on saying anything.
  6. *3.0+1.01
  7. It was 2 am when I finished it so, I wanted to sleep on it. Without going in to spoilers, the movie held me till the end, I didn't fast forward through any parts which is praise from me. As for if it's bad or good, at one point in the movie it was going in to bad category for me (or at least not good) as it really was just an acid trip and I had no idea what was going on, but then it started opening the plot and even offering explanations (almost as if someone came in and said they need to start explaining things from that point on). I personally liked the ending and I would say even the movie overall. It certainly was and Evangelion experience through and through. I'll spoiler the next part just in case At one point in the move yes, but it started going up after that and ended on a good note for me. I'm happy it's over, was perhaps a tad over-dramatic from me, but I meant it in a positive way and it was simply how I was feeling when the credits rolled in. The only big gripe I have is that I think the subtitles were not good.
  8. Evangelion 3 + 1.01 The Acid Trip. Every animation style and the kitchen sink. I am happy it's over.
  9. I always wanted to learn and have the opportunity to practice it, but I'm just too lazy... Also Evangelion coming out in 2 days. Big Hype.
  10. So you know the holy language or just speak the book?
  11. Amen coming in with the knowledge.
  12. I honestly don't know which of those two would be worse...well...I mean I do... Naruto would be worse.
  13. Manga is taking over. Kneel before it mortals!
  14. And there is some ****ed up **** there. I would think that would be ban worthy or would that fall under art over here? I kind of doubt it.
  15. I was just making a joke about your taste, as in it's hard to please you.
  16. Yeah the filler is mostly bad, the manga I never had an issue with but for many vocal people the last few arcs left a bad taste in their mouth. Then you would love the Bleach manga art style, especially in it's later arcs. For One Peace I only read the manga, but I dropped it around black beard arc. It's way too long way to many characters that don't matter. I mean there are a lot of manga that are weekly and that have fantastic art. Let's be honest and say that One was never visited by the Art fairy. Or were you talking about the redrawn One Punch Man done by Murata? That one doesn't have a schedule either. I already had that with the Wheel of Time... Shame that my favorite authors never seem to finish their work. What is this hentai you speak of? That is a tall ask.
  17. Stop talking **** about Bleach... It's my gateway manga (well Berserk is but Bleach is a close second). Btw a few days ago a new chapter came out, so fingers crossed it gets the Hell arc. Oh and Berserk will get one more chapter, hopefully we will find out then if they plan to continue/finish it. I have added what I consider to be the best of the best. I would have added Kubo Tite the magnaka for Bleach, his art is top notch too it's just that he's a minimalist with the backgrounds, so it wouldn't be fair to the other guys. Then again, Bleach was a weekly manga and the one I mentioned above are either on hiatus or at best monthly. So if he had more time it would probably look that much better.
  18. @Bartimaeus Fair enough, as I said art is subjective. Believe me when I say I don't think less of you for what you said, not even a little bit, yes sir, not even a crumb... filthy casual In case you are interested here is what I consider the pinnacle of manga art: Berserk Plus many many more Oh! Great (any work he has done) Vagabond One Punch Man (this is the manga I linked before with the bad art, but redone by another artist) edit: Done... Excuse the picture spam.
  19. He strikes again! It's a great story. As for the art, I mean that's really subjective, but I really don't see the ugly there. What bothers you about it? Then again this is some of the manga I read...
  20. Water polo representation saying goodbye to some of it's players who are retiring.
  21. Much recommend. I was thinking of recommending it to to @Bartimaeus, but my heart couldn't take the harsh critic.
  22. @KP the meanie zucchini Are you reading Frieren at the Funeral by any chance?
  23. It was late I was going to bed, I swear...
  24. I could give you a few recommendations if you want? There really are some excellent manga out there.
