why? because peoples opinion differs from yours? imagine that. not everyone thinking the way you do. i know, its quite a shock isnt it. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> no, just reading all these yahoos going on about how it "has" to do this or "has" to be like this.....it's damn funny. i don't find it shocking that people don't share my opinions. What i do find shocking is all the folks stating as if it's god given fact what KOTOR3 "must" do.

Atari provides the majority of the QA testing, but i think OB hires temp testers for short term testing in house. EDIT: Most dev houses rely on the publisher to provide the majority of testing on a title. It's simply too expensive to hire a skilled test staff for most devs.

i don't get why folks stubbornly believe that KOTOR3 will only work if it uses Revan or the Exile. WHY?? They've played their parts, they're done. They, as playable characters, have run their course.

Infinity engine is dead and buried. Odds are on them using either Reflexive new engine (an updated version of the one used for Lionheart) or making a new engine from scratch - IF they were making BG3.

wow, what a witty and facetious way to bag on KOTOR2. Along those lines, i really love posts of people who come on forum boards to express how they just don't get a game and how it must suck because of it. Posts like these make me all giddy inside and I look forward to them with fervent glee. I'd be really sad if instead of posting their intelligent and well-thought out comments they just wandered off into traffic (or maybe just out of their parent's basement) and deprived the rest of the forum community of their rapier like wit and uproariously funny thoughts.

the third party black-out for next gen titles is up in the next month or so, so don't be too surprised if you start hearing announcements starting in march. Then you also have E3 in May. I wouldn't be surprised if in the next 3 months we start getting a LOT of announcements.

Fable - I was so stoked for this game, then i got to work on it. What a total failure of an RPG. Halo 2 - The first level is awesome, with me and other marines fighting to save earth...then all of a sudden i'm on another Halo. WTF? Alot of hype for the same game over again. And the ending sucked. The Getaway - So many people told me how great this game was, but when i got my hands on it the horrid controls and lackluster camera instantly killed whatever desire i had to play it. NWN - it's OC was a tutorial for the toolset...no thanks. The tilesets and the dynamic lighting made everything look bland and boring. Temple of Elemental Evil - Bugs, Bugs, and more Bugs. This could have been a great RPG, but it's sheer level of broken-ness just made it too much of a hassle. BUt just to be positive, here's some games i looked forward to and was NOT dissappointed when i played them. Knights of the old republic 2 Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines Half-Life 2 Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas And here's some games that i never heard about till i played, then loved them: UFO: Aftermath Katumari Damacy The Suffering

he also has the film rights to Dungeon seige. He is single handedly killing any chance of videogame to film adaptations ever being taken seriously. Fantasy is serious business now, thanks to Lord of the Rings Comic Book movies are serious business now, thanks to X-men and Spiderman Uwe Boll makes Videogame movies a complete joke. His movies make the Super Mario Movie and Street Fighter: The Movie look like cinematic masterpieces.
