Yes, I know its not right to be amused but I am. Ive always heard there was a "prison code" wherein other inmates consider child abusers the lowest on the totem pole and enact their own form of justice. Interesting that the childs cousin is in the same prision. Coincidence that he got tattooed? I think not. :)"
They are genetic evolutions. Just as you know you can see, hear, taste, and feel, they now they can do their abilities. Genetics and instinct.
I would buy that if they had the powers their entire lives, not that they just woke up to them.
Ive only seen a handful of Mutant X episodes so I cant answer that difinatively but, no, I dont think so.
So far all weve seen is a collection of people from various parts of the world who have inexplicably, suddenly, gained some superpower. There is also the obligatory bad guy lurking in the shadows waiting to unleash some as of yet unrevealed nefarious plot.
I thought it was slightly lame that the people who gained the powers somehow just "knew" they had them without anything triggering the revelation.
So the pilot aired Monday here in the US. What do you all think so far? I cant figure out everyones powers yet. We have:
Cheerleader: Regenerative powers.
Japanese guy: Control time and space.
Stripper: Not sure about this one. She seems to have an evil twin that protects her but I cant determine if its a seperate entity or just her in a "blackout" state.
Artist: Can see the future.
Brothers: Can fly.
Indian guy: Cant tell if he actually has any powers or will just develop into the groups braintrust.
I thought it was a pretty good show and Im looking forward to seeing how they explain all these people suddenly getting powers. Your thoughts?
Well with 2 of the 3 things i agree, but why does it have to have capital letters. It's those litle things i can't wrap my head around. So maybe this isn't that important but i still wonder. The reason why i write my name like i do is because i have a very unsteady hand, this is the best way to make my signature legible.
And i do need to add my first name, that was the only reasonable argument i think he had.
narcist,
It should be capitalized because its a proper name.
Like mkreku, I too can fall asleep at the drop of a hat and attribute that to my years in the Navy. When I first joined, I was stationed on the USS Enterprise and assigned to Weapons Division. Every day after our daily magazine inspections we would all go down to BA (bomb assembly) and crash out on pallets of 500Lb bombs. Personally, I found the AIM-54 (Phoenix missile) crates to be far more comfortable.
