  1. ^Agreed. Its leaks like that which prove this has nothing to do with "full disclosure" or "civil disobedience" and everything to do with trying to make a name for himself while damaging the U.S. I humors me to see people proudly proclaining they support Wikileaks because they think they are "fighting the power". As an aside, not that its legal or moral, but why dont we just send a sniper to put a bullet in his head? End of story.
  2. Im curious why you have so many Warlock toons Tale. It cant be for whatever racial benefit you get so was it just to see the various races starting areas and you just decided to keep leveling them?
  3. Yeah, Ive heard that crowd control is making a comeback. It had been so long since I had to polymorph anything that when the dungeon leader asked for it I had to dig it out of my spellbook, lol.

Bingo. An interesting "study" that drives home that point:
  5. There are two quest starting areas and the one I went to wasnt too bad. Granted, I didnt start playing until after 5pm so a lot of the hardcore players were long gone. There was some competition for mobs but they have the respawn rate so ramped up that there were times I found myself getting caught up in a pile just because they respawned around me.
  6. Im digging the new stuff so far. Archeology is kinda fun and I really like that the dig sites are individual to the player so you dont have to run around like crazy trying to beat other people to the punch. Been through two of the new dungeons, one in Black Rock Spire and one thats underwater. TBH, I feel they are a bit easy and I was more challenged when they first released the LK dungeons. Questing is much, much better now and unbelievably, one of the first quest rewards I received was a Green (common) chest piece that damn near replaces my T10 chest piece! I already cant wait to get back home and play some more. I have so much work to do leveling my primary and secondary professions. >_
  7. On the bright side, with these austerity measures England will be flush with cash and in 15 years or so when weve run our country into the ground we can reach out to our good buddies across the pond for a loan to keep China from sending over people to beat us up.
  8. Changing and adding. The continents have been sundered by Deathwing's escape so the land masses do look different and of course the expansion going live today adds five more level (85 is the new cap), flying is now permitted in Azeroth, there are two new races to play (Goblin & Worgen) and a multitude of new dungeons and raids.
  9. You mean you didn't take the day off ?! Tsk. I wear ribbons of shame. Hehe, last night I completed 15 dailies and didnt turn them in so I could get a quick exp bump when I log in tonight and turn them in. Im more worried about the dreaded "20 other people waiting to kill the same mob".
  10. I cant wait to get home from work today.
  11. Holy crap!
  12. I havent played it but from what Ive gathered from posts here is the exact opposite. The beginning areas were utterly fantastic while the latter parts of the game were either weak or suffered in comparison to the beginning.
  13. It looks great, I might well pick it up. But ain't that cover art awful? You know, I stared at that cover for a moment or two, convinced I had looked up the wrong book. I had to read the description to be sure it was the book I was thinking of. Looks like a case of ever changing cover art. Back when I was an avid reader and couldnt remember all the titles I used to wind up buying a book more than once because they faked me out with new cover art. This is what it looked like back when I was reading it:
  14. Meh, too bad Steam is only offering the vanilla version.
  15. Armor, an outstanding book Ive read several times. Read the reviews for more details.
  16. Its even funnier that mkreku has appointed himself as Obsidians anti-piracy police, hounding people until they produce a picture of their game boxes to satisfy him.

^Canada? Mexico? Giant squids off both coasts?
  18. Ah, Remington Steele, I remember it fondly. You may also enjoy more cheesetastic detective viewing in Moonlighting which was kinda the launching pad for Bruce Willis' career.
  19. My condolences The Architect.
  20. The old zones are still there, just rearranged.... And yes, you would be able to see everything without Cataclysm, you just wont be able to play the new races/fly in Azeroth/advance to level 85/etc... when the expansion comes out on 7 Dec. EDIT: By "base game and first expansion" you are still two expansions behind as you only get the main game and the "Burning Crusade" expansion. You would then need to buy the "Wrath of the Litch King" expansion and then the "Cataclysm" expansion if you wanted to be fully up to speed. With that in mind, I dont really know what you would or would not be able to see wrt the shattering.
  21. Why kill the goose that lays the golden egg? Part of WoW's ridiculous success can be attributed to the fact that almost any working computer can play it and tbh, with everthing set to ultra, it looks no worse than say FO:NV. Different style mind you, "realistic" vs cartoon, but I think it looks more than adequate.
  22. Dear god, suddenly Take on me... jumped into my head! Noooooooo....
  23. Have you tried the Goblin rocket track just outside the back gates of Org? Takes you all around Azshara in record time! Hit all the stops and get an achievement.
  24. Azeroth is now in ruins, and I love it. Really digging the new look of the lands and cities. Even got myself my very own river boat from the Goblins to cruise the now flooded Thousand Needles, lol.
  25. That combined with: brings the PC sales to a respectable 415,000 units. Nice.
