  1. Holy crap!
  2. I havent played it but from what Ive gathered from posts here is the exact opposite. The beginning areas were utterly fantastic while the latter parts of the game were either weak or suffered in comparison to the beginning.
  3. It looks great, I might well pick it up. But ain't that cover art awful? You know, I stared at that cover for a moment or two, convinced I had looked up the wrong book. I had to read the description to be sure it was the book I was thinking of. Looks like a case of ever changing cover art. Back when I was an avid reader and couldnt remember all the titles I used to wind up buying a book more than once because they faked me out with new cover art. This is what it looked like back when I was reading it:
  4. Meh, too bad Steam is only offering the vanilla version.
  5. Armor, an outstanding book Ive read several times. Read the reviews for more details.
  6. Its even funnier that mkreku has appointed himself as Obsidians anti-piracy police, hounding people until they produce a picture of their game boxes to satisfy him.

^Canada? Mexico? Giant squids off both coasts?
  8. Ah, Remington Steele, I remember it fondly. You may also enjoy more cheesetastic detective viewing in Moonlighting which was kinda the launching pad for Bruce Willis' career.
  9. My condolences The Architect.
  10. The old zones are still there, just rearranged.... And yes, you would be able to see everything without Cataclysm, you just wont be able to play the new races/fly in Azeroth/advance to level 85/etc... when the expansion comes out on 7 Dec. EDIT: By "base game and first expansion" you are still two expansions behind as you only get the main game and the "Burning Crusade" expansion. You would then need to buy the "Wrath of the Litch King" expansion and then the "Cataclysm" expansion if you wanted to be fully up to speed. With that in mind, I dont really know what you would or would not be able to see wrt the shattering.
  11. Why kill the goose that lays the golden egg? Part of WoW's ridiculous success can be attributed to the fact that almost any working computer can play it and tbh, with everthing set to ultra, it looks no worse than say FO:NV. Different style mind you, "realistic" vs cartoon, but I think it looks more than adequate.
  12. Dear god, suddenly Take on me... jumped into my head! Noooooooo....
  13. Have you tried the Goblin rocket track just outside the back gates of Org? Takes you all around Azshara in record time! Hit all the stops and get an achievement.
  14. Azeroth is now in ruins, and I love it. Really digging the new look of the lands and cities. Even got myself my very own river boat from the Goblins to cruise the now flooded Thousand Needles, lol.
  15. That combined with: brings the PC sales to a respectable 415,000 units. Nice.
  16. So is it pretty much impossible to pirate a Steamworks game? If so, is that because its constantly connecting to "the cloud" or phoning home? If so, why dont game companies just switch to that model of distribution?
  17. Is that the Old Spice commercial guy? They should totally put him in the next Indiana Jones movie.
  18. Maybe mysticism fits Indy better than Sci-Fi?
  19. Hehe, I infer from your post time that you caught the midnight show. Was the place packed?
  20. While I dont agree with Boo's bull-in-the-china-shop approach, he does have a certain point, in that after 11 months of grieving one may want to rub some dirt on it and get back in the game.
  21. You can wear sandals to work?
  22. Is this the first time GoG has sold a new release?
  23. I wonder what the PC sales would be if they included digital sales. Is there any agency that reports that number?
  24. Lol, thats so far beyond my maths I would have a better chance of understanding it if it were in Egyptian hieroglyphs. Bravo sir, bravo.
