  1. Im following you now. Yeah, the Hulk had already defeated The Avengers, The Fantastic Four and various solo superheroes before he took on Sentry so he was already at max rage and growing. Superman also has no upper limit, right? Doesn't he just continuously gain in power as long as he is exposed to a yellow sun or has he been depowered a bit at this point? I wonder who would win in a battle between Hulk and Superman.
  2. Hmm, maybe I should go back and reread the fifth comic in the series because I thought he did unleash his full power on the Hulk. Even going so far as to say (paraphrasing); "so this is what it feels like to finally let go". I agree about his inaction, it made me laugh that he spent 29 hours standing in his doorway trying to decide to get involved or not.
  3. Why do you feel Sentry can be damaged by his own powers? I don't recall anything like that being suggested in the WWH series. In fact, he was unleashing so much energy he was about to destroy Manhattan before Hulk knocked him out. Or are you saying he expended so much energy that he was "spent" and reverted to his normal form?
  4. Isnt this the same thing as the "Tides" in ToN? (scroll down to "What are the Tides")
  5. Already fought him to a stalemate. Sentry. Its not me calling him the most powerful, that's what he was referred to in the World War Hulk series, possessing the "power of one million exploding suns". Really felt like a "jump the shark" moment when Hulk defeated Sentry in the comic.
  6. I have doubts that there was some sinister plot to maim instead of kill. From what Ive seen so far they were fairly simple devices, in this case pressure cookers packed with gunpowder, nails and BB's.
  7. I just had the Hulk ruined for me for the same reason. I recently read the World War Hulk series and by the end of that the Hulk single handedly defeats the most powerful being in the Marvel universe, Sentry.
  8. Uh oh, that makes two strikes...
  9. The problem with that statement is that wether or not something adds tactics and mroe choices is rather objective. Wether or not something is busywork is not. Things that you might consider boring is something that someone else might consider FUNFUNFUN. Yes, that's why I used "I" before every statement, to signify MY preference. I would have thought that was obvious.
  10. That's a very apt description. To this day I still vividly remember an 18yo Gfted1, having just completed boot camp and been flown out to Alameda California to join the fleet, walking along the pier next to my first ever ship the USS Enterprise (CVN-65). It was unbelievable to me that something so gigantic could even float. Its like looking at the Empire State building on its side.
  11. Clint Eastwood is the man, so many awesome movies...
  12. Had my taxes done yesterday and am getting a nice refund. \o/
  13. Two Mules For Sister Sara
  14. Braver than me, I would never quit a job before I had a replacement.
  15. That's a good compromise. I also liked the idea someone mentioned earlier about a glowy crystal imbedded in your armor.
  16. I now demand that vendors sell "Blister Wrappings +2" in stores just to make Gfted rage. GFTED1 SMASH!
  17. Im not against a "light source", Im against minutia. I don't want to have any mechanics in place whos sole purpose is to add a layer of busywork in the name of being "tactical". I don't want to eat/drink, I don't want to use the potty and I don't want to have to treat the blisters my party will get humping back and forth from rest points. If there is some method to abstractly represent a light source that doesn't force crap mechanics then Im all for it.
  18. If its legal for you to remove/circumvent DRM in your country, why do you still refuse to buy games that have DRM?
  19. Hell no. The last thing I want to do is have to carry around a bunch of torches (although we could carry the entire forests worth in our bottomless backpack) or have to put the torch down to re-equip my weapons.
  20. Thanks. Cool cinematic at the end.
  21. You can get him as a companion or something now?
  22. I can understand and respect you guys position on DRM but tbh this looks like people going out of their way to get upset. They are delivering on their promise to supply a DRM free version of SR and Berlin, what you guys paid for already, but now people are upset about what may happen in the future to as yet unannounced future DLC? With the PS4 and XBOX720 going always online (DRM) and most PC games being supplied via a method of DRM, I can see a future of all DRM all the time. What then, quit gaming all together except for a few select games per year? At what point are you cutting off your nose to spite your face?
  23. Unless I misunderstood, Shadowrun Returns and Berlin can be had DRM free, just not any future DLC.
  24. Thats pretty neat that people could have pictures of themselves turned into NPC's. What did that tier cost?
