  1. I had a chicken pot pie there a few weeks ago and it was fine. The place that set my stomach to rumbling is White Castle.
  2. I believe an "expansion" was already funded by the KS, so theres that. As for PoE2 it probably depends on the success of PoE?
  3. How do they "confirm" a kill? Someone else had to see it or just whatever the sniper says happened?
  4. Im sure there was lots of red, white and blue poured into the movie but I found a few points striking:
  5. American Sniper. Pretty good even though I already knew the story. Bradley Cooper is a dead ringer for real guy and his acting chops get better in every movie, imo.
  6. Is there a Stoneskin type spell in the game? Meaning, a protection spell that completely absorbs hits and comes off in layers instead of coming off after one hit / few seconds?
  7. 6'1" / 220 Lb? Sounds right.
  8. Havent mages been pretty much neutered? Down from nukers to "mob control" or something like that. Are there any enemy Ciphers / Chanters in the enemy BB parties (I cant remember)? They are probably much more dangerous anyway.
  9. SpaceX releases video of Falcon 9’s explosive landing.
  10. ^It was probably perpetrated by the same shadow organization that took down the twin towers.
  11. Monte PM me the other day on Steam too. I remembered this thread and didn't click the link.
  12. Hehe, I was meaning that the four days we were there felt like a month of drinking. The beer pong and bull riding were at the PBR Rock Bar and the cheap Petron shots were right around the corner from there at the Sin City Brewery. Caesar's Palace has one of the best buffets in the city but its a little pricey for a buffet (~$45 / each). Linq is right across the alley from Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville. We had dinner there Wednesday, which was kinda crap tbh, but the atmosphere and servers make it fun.
  13. Spent a month in Vegas this week (Sun-Wed). Had an awesome time and am pretty sure I have compromised my liver by ~20%. My wife and I are oldsters so we don't go to night clubs, preferring regular bars. We found a place selling $5 shots of Petron. Then there was something about beer pong (first time player). Then I got talked into riding a mechanical bull but thank god we got distracted and that never happened. We started talking to an Aussie and his girlfriend that were playing on the next beer pong table over and they turned out to be super cool and fun to hang out with. I hope I start pooping solid again soon.
  14. Those were originally bred for hunting lions, right? When I was stationed in Jacksonville my neighbor had one of those. Giant, beautiful, friendly dog and I love how the fur on the spine runs counter to the rest of the coat. I think I once read that they instinctually attack from behind so it always made me a little nervous how it would follow me to the pier and watch me fish.
  15. Well, it could be. They have money to spare compared to the rest of us. Better and more educated society and all that. Sure, sure. Its always somebody else's problem to solve your problems. Disclaimer: "Your" is not you.
  16. I can vouch for Labradors. Very smart and loving. DO NOT consider a Boxer as they are dumb as a box of hammers. And it goes without saying that dogs are much more maintenance than cats.
  17. That's a good point but guns, bows and crossbows are already similarly "magic" (no ammo) so is it that big of a stretch? Aside, I liked ammo in the IE games as you could get ammo that had different properties to damage or hit. Made it a little more interesting. Arrows of Detonation FTW!
  18. This Aim-Assisted Rifle Is Now Accurate Up to a Mile.
  19. Let me guess, this will be financed by "the rich"?
  20. I would punch a baby seal in the face for another D&D game using the same rule set as the BG series but that aint gonna happen. Can anyone provide an opinion on 5E? Is it enjoyable? Would it translate well into a PC game?
  21. A powerful new super antibiotic may be right under our feet.
  22. Im solving the worlds problems one armchair general decision at a time. Europe should embrace my ideas and stop brining all this trouble on themselves.
  23. Eh, they could handwave that by calling them "returning" weapons.
  24. See, another reason to disarm France. That way they wouldn't be able to pick on these poor downtrodden folk.
