I explained it poorly. These people wouldn't have to be undercover, just a well trained security guard type. Of course prevention is preferable but we have to deal in the reality of life instead of making sound bytes. Guns are here to stay and we aren't suddenly going to gain full and complete understanding of mental illnesses, how to identify those people and how to treat them. Plus, some people are just evil scumbags.

Imo, arming teachers is a terribad idea. If somebody must be armed, I prefer a dedicated "sky marshal" type person like someone mentioned earlier.

RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS - NOW IN 5$ LOOT BOXES
Lordy no! Well, I no longer buy physical media of any kind so I guess my receipts are "in the cloud". And I never keep paper receipts. Except from CVS Pharmacy, which I use for recording paper of my magnum opus.

R00fles! You ignore 2/3 of your own statement and then don't don't understand the point. Where do you store your receipts? Its obviously a more secure location than your entertainment media. I need a good place to put my Pink Floyd receipts. Also AC/DC. Goddamn I spent a fortune over my lifetime on those two bands.

Ah. I Googled both and the Serbia flag is supposed to have a gold crown and crest just left of center. The important thing is though, are there really tigers in Serbia?

C'mon, you can try harder! Ill help you out with your own quote: So, if you aren't lazy and/or lost your stuff, you wont be in this position! Amazing! Cool, cool. Others say they don't matter. I'm honestly amazed that you can hang on to your receipt but not the disc. What a pickle youre in! Maybe that's where all my Pink Floyd receipts are. To the Gfted1mobile!

I cant remember, was Congress involved during the whole "magazines cant hold more than x rounds" laws? Maybe "accessories" don't rise to that level of action?

Huh, I didn't know they even did that. With all the popups I get on my mobile games, I'm impervious to such machinations.

Wait....you never even have to have owned the product to begin with!? Mind = blown. Just get your friends together, everyone buy one different program, and then burn the hell out of them to infinity! Now you've got my mind racing. Using Poland as an example, with a population of 37.95M, I wonder how long it would take to make a copy of MS Office for every single resident. It would expand exponentially, 1 makes 2, 2 makes 4, 4 makes 8, etc. The thought of MS looking at their sales records and being all "wtf, weve only sold one copy in the entire country" has me lolling. Oh you wacky Europeans.

How is it tax dodging if you've already paid the recording tax up front? What I really want to know, using the original example of lazy or lost media, how does a person prove that they've ever owned the product being copied?

Probably. I just contacted iTunes support to tell them that it is my god given right to get this AC/DC album for free since I have previously owned every title they ever made (I swear). They told me to go piss on an electric fence.

RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS - NOW IN 5$ LOOT BOXES
Well that's good enough for me! If Ive ever owned anything ever, I guess I own it into eternity! And let me guess...this is totes all on the honor system. If a person says they owned something at one time it must be true.

So if you don't specifically put yourself in that position, you should be good to go? I swear to god I must have purchased Pink Floyd The Wall a half a dozen times over my life and I always lost, or loaned it out and never got it back. I suppose that's mine for life to freely download?

Its a smart idea. By checking the serial numbers against the known pirated versions maybe they can gather the IP information of the pirates instead of passwords and direct the authorities to the exact locations.
