Paris circa 1970's was a filthy dump with dogs everywhere. But I did get to see the Louvre, Crown Jewels of England, Napoleon's tomb, the cell and beheading location for Maria Antoinette, Eifel Tower, etc. so I guess I would recommend it. Also, they crap standing up there with no dividers between crappers. Or at least they did back then.
Youve already been to Fiji, right?
Were also looking into vacations but we'll probably keep it "local" and do another all inclusive to Cancun or Cozumel. Last years vacation was a cruise, and it was nice, but I think I prefer just sitting my ass in the resort pool bar.
That's exactly why I have a slight phobia of swimming in any body of water where I cant see the bottom, including lakes, rivers and oceans. I'm convinced something is going to get me. I can quash it enough to go snorkeling on a tour in crystal clear reefs but you would never get me to go scuba diving. The crushing black and fear of the unseen is too much for me.
I think Obsidian was closed from 23 Dec - 1 Jan, and they are located in the US Pacific Time zone. Surely they will respond to you as soon as possible.
I don't know that disarming the police while maintaining an armed populous is a good solution either. Cops have a tough job. But I do agree on removing qualified immunity. "Spray and pray" cant be defended imo.
A different article I read says the cop fired because the suspect "reached for his waistband". Yeah, my ass. Why aren't police responsible even for accidents? If a civilian accidentally discharges a weapon and it kills someone, don't they go to jail for manslaughter?
Heh yeah, theres a whole science to it. Iirc, Humanoid is a avid bike racer / rider so you may consider sending him a PM.
Also, I hear you can gain a few 10th's of a second by completely removing all body hair.
I need to construct a memory palace for peoples names. I'm absolute rubbish at remembering the new people I meet names. Sometimes I'll try the "repeat it three times in my head" method, and it helps, but it doesn't work for me 100%.
Just in case you misunderstood, the UoI football stadium is directly adjacent to the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital, whos rooms overlook the playing field and stands. So that's why they are waving, to the sick children watching the game from their room windows.
