  6. I dont think they are referring to the susceptibility of catching the virus, they are referring to getting so sick from it that you need to be hospitalized. Which seems to lean heavily* toward the fatties. *see what I did there?
  7. Just wait until they try to remake the movie. Pearls will be clutched! I bet theyre really hoping for a return of Trump in 2024.
  8. British royal family plunged into crisis after Harry and Meghan allege racism and neglect in Oprah interview. Why are the British royals such dirtbags?

  14. Coming to America 2 For me, it was a somehow bad, yet still enjoyable movie. Wesley Snipes stole the show.
  15. I also just learned that a few weeks ago. Mind was blown.
  16. Yeah, but it probably gets you on some watchlist if you order one. I was wondering why they didnt just edit them out too, but I guess you have a point about other literature.

  22. I was going to suggest that we simply use numbers, then I looked it up and it turns out that the ancient Egyptians invented numbers, and they also enslaved the ancient Jews, who are still around today, so I guess that idea is out the window. Dang, this is going to be tricky.
  23. The warmup continues here too! The next 5 days are full sunshine and above 40F temps. WooHoo!
  24. My father died when I was 7 so I never had the opportunity to learn anything from him. For some reason my mind just easily understands and remembers mechanical / plumbing / electrical systems. I do get satisfaction from maintaining / repairing my stuff but the primary motivation is saving money. Yeah my wife pretty much expects me to fix everything. But I have taught my kid how to changed brakes, change a tire, basic AC/furnace maintenance, minor electrical installation (plugs, ceiling fans, etc.)... that sort of thing.
  25. I have a very strong knack of "learn by seeing", even once, so all the DIY stuff I know I learned by somebody showing me or by watching over the repairpersons shoulder. I also have a PhD in RTFM which will get you through any project. The only thing I wont mess with is "black pipe" which carries NG throughout my home. Even though I know how to do it, I prefer to leave that to the professionals.
