The TV and Streaming thread Series 4
I think the parts were supposed to be overplayed and I laughed out loud several times. But for some reason that I cant explain, it really popped my suspension-of-disbelief bubble when Its definitely worth watching though. 👍

Coming to America 2 For me, it was a somehow bad, yet still enjoyable movie. Wesley Snipes stole the show.

The All Things Political Thread (The World and US Reunited)
I was going to suggest that we simply use numbers, then I looked it up and it turns out that the ancient Egyptians invented numbers, and they also enslaved the ancient Jews, who are still around today, so I guess that idea is out the window. Dang, this is going to be tricky.

What You've Done Today - As the World Turns
My father died when I was 7 so I never had the opportunity to learn anything from him. For some reason my mind just easily understands and remembers mechanical / plumbing / electrical systems. I do get satisfaction from maintaining / repairing my stuff but the primary motivation is saving money. Yeah my wife pretty much expects me to fix everything. But I have taught my kid how to changed brakes, change a tire, basic AC/furnace maintenance, minor electrical installation (plugs, ceiling fans, etc.)... that sort of thing.

What You've Done Today - As the World Turns
I have a very strong knack of "learn by seeing", even once, so all the DIY stuff I know I learned by somebody showing me or by watching over the repairpersons shoulder. I also have a PhD in RTFM which will get you through any project. The only thing I wont mess with is "black pipe" which carries NG throughout my home. Even though I know how to do it, I prefer to leave that to the professionals.

What You've Done Today - As the World Turns
Nice! Ive never defrosted a refrigerator but I assume you just unplug it and leave the doors open? Im curious, your "household insurance" can be used on anything big or small (AC / heat) or is only for appliances (fridge, washing machine, etc.)? As you will learn, the costs of the actual materials required to perform a fix as usually very affordable. Where you take the biggest hit is usually in the "labor charges". The more you learn to do yourself, the more you will save in this category.

Look at it this way, maybe we'll learn about whatever childhood trauma made Cruella into the woman she is in 101 Dalmatians. Seems topical for the times.- Need help with a character
I think they mean that stats dont really matter. You can build any character with any stat distribution and its impossible to fail, right? Wasnt that specifically one of the points of PoE? - Funny Stuff: Humour of the Clones
