R2 was popular since he was with C-3P0, he wasnt very popular on his own. Secondly T3-M4 can never compare to R2 so dont even start on that. Second, I was just saying why you wouldn't need T3 in KotOR I and since there are probably new feats, im pretty sure you would be able to beef up your repair and security skills with one class. Also, there are probably some NPCs who are scouts and they are probably a lot more interesting to talk to... (I guess you didnt think of that one)

Thanks for posting the pics and no, we havent seen em before. Those maps are huge but, they probably will cut some of the rooms in the maps to save space and cut loading time.

First of all, thanks Stargate 2000 for copying the article from the magazine. You've provided us with some great info. hmm... I like the fact that more emphasis will be placed on droids and their part in the game. However, I just dont like T3 and would not want to control him for extended ammounts of time. Although T3 is a droid and I want them to play a bigger role in the game, its very difficult to like a droid that doesn't talk and is useless in fighting and if you are a scout, you dont need him since your repair skill and security skill get pretty high.

The LS should have a force power that should be able to deflect any offensive power back at the one who casted the force power. To me, it seems like the only way we can avoid giving the LS offensive powers and avoid making LS suck...

Jedi Consular to Jedi Master for me. I don't like fighting through every situation instead, I would like to preserve the peace.

There should be something like a Sims 2 Bodyshop for KotOR II. One of the things I didn't like about KotOR was the inability to create a custom face. In the Sims 2 bodyshop, rather than relying on premade faces, you make your own.

thats not a planetary shield, its Citadel Station the Ithorians run it. Its a massive station built over the planet and it is a drop off point where creatures and plantlife from all over the galaxy and they try to introduce it into the environment. Basically they are rebuilding the planet from scratch. All that brown stuff was the surface of the planet after the sith bombed it out of existence.

If you are looking for non-linear gameplay, try Deus Ex : Invisible War. It is an RPG, FPS mix but the fighting system is FPS...

I would say Atris since she looks powerful in the concept art. She also has that LS Aura (The Clothes, The Hair, The Saber). I also hope she does not go DS like that idiot Bastila and if she does, you should have the option to kill her. Bastila is a traitorous jedi who thinks she knows everything and is probably the most arrogant jedi I've ever seen.

i dont mind waiting for february 2k5 since the pc game will probably have a few addons the xbox version wont have e.g. in kotor, the mantle of the force and heart of the guardian were not present for xbox...

yes same here, i came close to triggering the battle but then when bastila said kill juhani, i said no, i wont kill my friend bla bla bla (even though i dont really like juhani...) and if you ask me, both endings are pretty stupid but the light side is slightly better than the ds ending.

dont forget "he has promised a great reward to whoever destroys you" - then they get killed....

I dont like FPS at all. In RPGs, you can shape your character to whatever you like however in FPS games all you do is blow people to bits. There is virtually no interaction between people and you cant shape your character to the same extent you can in an RPG. Therefore, I would purchase KotORII over Republic Commando but if the price drops, I may (notice the may) buy it.

I do remember when I was using the Savegame editor, I stumbled across a boolean which was called Juhani_Rom. I would be assuming this is Juhani Romance but i'm not sure, I tried changing it but there was no effect. However, that doesn't mean there is no Juhani romance since the journal entry is not changed by the boolean being set to true or false (The journal entry has an independent boolean to change that i think or a numerical system of some sort to show progression). There may be a Juhani romance but I strongly doubt it because at least one walkthrough or strategy guide would have said something about it...

Yes, those NPC conversations were fun, I was really expecting one between HK and Canderous. They would go so well together...

While I don't love PC game characters, I think that some of them have nice personalities and they would fit quite nicely in real life. As for love, well you think you can love them but you cant really since they are not real, they are only a figment of imagination. AND YES, LETS GET THIS DAMN THREAD CLOSED.
