Your name was spoken in KotOR just never in Basic only in Ithorian, Rodian (w/e thier language is) etc. Anyways, it is fairly easy to get the computer to prononuce the word but it may be prononuced wrong and ofcourse, the voice may have to be changed. It adds too many complications but, it would be a cool feature nevertheless.

the earlier builds of the game usually tend to be a bit buggy at higher resolutions with crappy video cards...

I'm not sure however, I hope its not Jennifer Hale even though she performed well in KotOR I since I really dont think she should act for another character. Even if she tries to change her accent or voice, it will still show.

Well, it happens if you browse the forums and are not careful. You have to watch which topics you read if you dont want to be exposed to spoilers since some of the other topics which dont have the *SPOILER* listing talk about some of the characters and planets... But, up till this point, there has been little in the way of new characters so there are no major spoilers yet...

Only 6 more votes (provided no one else votes Bastila) and Atris will be ahead of Bastila. I think she will be a much better character than Bastila. I hope that you spend a considerable amount of time locating her (However, still have the Romance subplot and stuff, maybe spend 1/3 of the game looking for her) since I wouldn't just want to start the game off with her since it would be boring. It would be like starting off with Bastila. With her lightsaber, you would be able to bring down 20 sith. There would be no challenge.

I'll do 800*600 but with 8x AA and 8x Antistropy and I will use the high quality textures. This setting didn't lag for me in KotOR and it probably wont in KotOR II since the graphics engine is the same and I should be fine. Although I have a 6800 Ultra, my PC is only PIII 900 so even if the card supports it, CPU usage will skyrocket...

Yes, I didnt really like the Space Combat in the original KotOR. Taris was ok, I remarked "This is cool, space combat". Then, pretty much during every trip, I had the stupid fighter attacks and they just got annoying. I got so bored, I downloaded a mod to disable the stupid fighter attacks. I heard in KotOR II that if you do not destroy some ships, they dock with the Ebon Hawk and you will have to kill the Sith soldiers who actually invade the Ebon Hawk.

Yea, i dont think Sion is the leader of the whole sith but only a sect of Sith Assasins. I think MSG is the most powerful and is probably also the leader of the largest group of Sith Assasins. He/She is probably the main villain of the game. The Box Art also seems to hint this however, this could just be a developer trick...

The Genohardan is an assasination guild and to start doing missions for them, you have to kill Calo Nord. After this, in the spaceport of the planet where you killed him, a Twi'lek named Senni Vek hands you a datapad to meet Hulas on Manaan who is in Ahto West Central. I reccomend you do this before the "revelation" because you will have one more mission and will recieve one more item.

Even so, you have to respect Kerry's war record, as he truly was a hero for this nation. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Now, I am not an American (I'm an Indian and Canadian citizen, just ignore that dude from North Bay, he's an idiot) however, I don't think that you can say Kerry was a hero for the country because he served in Vietnam. Being a hero is not going out to kill VietCong. Secondly, many people do not support Kerry because he actually protested against Vietnam after the war was over and was accused of critcising his country. Thats a pretty stupid thing to be accused for if you ask me since to win an election, you must speak out against the other party to show why you are better... Third, just because you are a great soldier does not mean you are a great leader, he is unclear on a lot of issues such as Iraq however, overall, I dont really care about the election since I'm not a US citizen.

its easy w/ PC to do anything. all you do is you use KSE (KotOR Savegame Editor) its on Holowan laboratories. You can edit max level, inventory, skill points, feats, force powers. also, if you have fred tetra's kotor tool, you can edit all the scripts for the different attacks and characters. this way you can make critical strike for example do like 2000 damage or master flurry do 6000. this however is cheap and stupid so i dont use kotor tool to do such things. if you have 2 sabers that each do 100 damage, you can kill anyone in the game.
