Not really a movie but I watched the pilot and first episode of "Firefly" and I hate it. More phasers and space battles and less cowboys plz.

There is no such thing as a "PC exclusive" just games that are not feasible to port to consoles, like FPS, CRPGs or Strategy games which dont lend themselves to playing in the couch in front of the TV. Most console games on the other hand can easily be "ported" to play on the PC but theyre kept off the PC market in order to force people to buy consoles.

And remeber that the most important thing is the GFX, you can come a loong way with a less-than-average CPU and slow RAM if youve got a fast GFX.

Not to mention the dust will damage your fans and other hardware 10 times faster. And I know that ometimes the airflow doesnt work like you imagine it to. My case, an Antec Sonata(special quiet case) has only a single 12cm fan that doesnt blow air into the case but sucks air out, and despite the intake holes being very tiny it works like a charm. At first I thought it was stupid and reversed the fan so it blew air into the case but that made everything run hot and so I swicthed it back.

Question: Do you believe computer games as a medium, will ever enter into the world of art like film has done- or will it always have to remain a form of more or less commercial entertainment? Do you think that perhaps in 10 or 20 years from now, people will be ready for the game equivalents of Bergman or Truffaut? And would you consider yourself as an artist or a craftsman?

Ive been using winamp since Mp3's first came back in 1996. I cant understand how people would voluntarily use that piece of sh*t iTunes that just wrecks complete havoc on your music library. A program that moves and copies files on its own accord it a downright security hazard "I am iTunes. What do you mean you dont like it when I try to copy 20gigs of music to your 10gig system partition without you telling me to do so?" blesch..

What always creeps me out is french voice actors trying to sound american. That voice and that stale, dead-eyes, model just gives me shivers...

The media patch for KoTOR2 was not a vital part of the game, you could enjoy it to 100% without it. The DM Client is vital to online play and without it, online play takes a huge hit. If OE waited too long to release it, youve got a distaster on your hands. OE knows this and ATARi aswell, so I think theyre anxious to get it out as soon as possible.

The DM CLient will be released, OE would have to be insane not to. But my point is: The OC is single-player only, it cant be played multi with a DM or not. And as it will most likely take 1-2 months before people are able to construct modules worth playing, why do you need a DM client upon release? Game development is nothing but a long line of compromises and this is just another one. It would be nice to have the game with all features on release but thats impossible and this is a reasonable compromise.

To really show how most scans looks in comparison to what its supposed to look like, heres a scan versus the same page from Darkhorse.com preview section It appears the DCP people are using automated brightness/contrast/hue settings that calculates adjustments based on black being RGB: 0,0,0 (true black) instead of actually comparing the scan to the paper. If you make a black square in PS, print it and then scan it back in, it wont be RGB 000 anymore and youll screw up the contrast.

The original NWN2 campaign is strictly single player, and as it will take some months before any quality modules are ready, not having the DM client available from startoff is not such a bad thing even if its inconvenent that it wont be inlcuded on the game disc.

The only really bastardly thing I have is my WacontIntuos3 A4 tablet... and my laptop but I need both of those for Uni work Thats just my TV

I live on the ground floor so I used to be quite worried that someone would see all my gear and nick it when I was away but all has been well thus far.
