  1. I took a trip to Stockholm over the weekend and I went to some 1337 comic shops(and the modern art museum) whereI picked up this wicked book called "lore" by Ashley Wood and TP Luoise Wood is the same guy who drew "Automatic Kafka" so its very trippy and cool. And as with A-K, I cant really tell you what its about.
  2. You can give them any Daedric Shrine artefact, it doesnt have to be the star.. although I didnt know what it was foreither and so I gave that away instead of the hammer or some of the other crap you can get. Getting a mere +1 in Intelligence at levelup mean you wont be able to chuck out those spells who cost upwards 500 Mana to cast. I chose Restoration and Destructionas my class magic schools.. bad move since neither one causes INT to rise, and so I have only about 110 Mana at level 17
  3. Im a sceptic.. Fable sounded interesting when they announced it but we all know how that turned out " console RPG si teh badness.
  4. I have a laptop with a 128mb x700 card. From what Ive seen on other laptops, nVidia is always the better alternative. In fact, my AMD 64 3000+ laptop with an x700 gets the same benchmarks as my old 9700 with a 2600+
  5. Our only chance to get Jefferson is as a fanmade NWN2 module. Interplay owns the IP, and its not going anywhere.
  6. A silly name for a silly console, makes perfect sense to me. But I like Nintendo because they just have tons of completely pointless games that I have no interest in playing. So, they dont steal any good games from the PC market. I mean, noone would be dumb enough to make PNJ a DS exclusive f.ex

  8. Devs = good guys Publishers = villains always,
  9. Since I was born bvefore VGA graphcis were invented, Ill have a lot of fun with this
  10. Still, the animations you can do with MoCap pales in comparison to what a good artist can do with models&textures with a $400 Wacom and Zbrush
  11. If you can guarantee that your module will be a "high profile" one then Ill be happy to supply proffessional quality graphics and animations to it. If someone was to pull together a large enough project, I have access to some very nice hardware (like our pro grade MoCap studio) and a whole bunch of very talented people.
  12. So after giving us all this high and mighty argument about Macintosh, you suddenly turn 180degrees and admit that youre just like the rest of us. There's a word for people like you... flip-flopper. There. What are you going to say now, Mister flip-flopper?
  13. Usually because Devs are not given enough time and money to finish them properly. Also, on tying all the threads together- traditionally devs have always focused on the main/middle part of the game while not spending as much effort on the intro or the ending. In storydriven genres lie adventure games or CRPG's thats really an insane way to do things because nobody likes an anticlimax.
  14. But since youre a Mac user, anything you say is obviously biased and so we dont have to listen. "
  15. Damn straight! If someone was to cut my head off, I wouldnt be comfortable unless I knew he had carefully thought the whole thing over before proceeding.
  16. Well, all I can say about MacOSX's GUI is that its so user-friendly* that it makes WinXP seem perfectly logical in comparison. * Apple codeword for "adapted to people who like to like to drive their cars in reverse just because it makes them feel special"
  17. ..and add the fact that the new Macs run on slightly modifed PC hardware
  18. Macintosh is gay. They should just make PC's with linux on them (which is almost what they do nowadays anyway)
  19. Ronald Reagan was president from 1981 until 1989 Its easy to give the economy a push by an enormous raise in the military budget. Unfortunantly, spending money that isnt yours have consequences.
  20. Why would it be a problem is SP2 was required? Its a free update That's correct. It seems April 24th was an old estimate. Theyve changed the Swedish release from the 28th to May 5th aswell.
  21. That's simply not true. Changing specific items in a ruleset and making command decisions to override the rules has always been a part of Dungeons and Dragons. Since day one. Since I had my first copy of DnD, which was before the all glorious red cover basic set some of you remember. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes, it isnt really true. I admit that it should have said "I will notice" instead of "players" An example of when Im being truly anal: GM: -He tries to parry.. ME: -He's already done one dodge blow and one parry this round and unless in he has the "lightning parry" talent, which I know his career doesnt, then he has taken all the actions possible this round. But then again our GM gets back at me by not having any sense of distance, thus enemy X will charge me despite being inside a temple 200m away "
  22. Premiata Forneria Marconi (PFM) - La Luna Nouva A lot of their songs are way too gay and ballad-like for prog rock but this one just makes me all happy inside )
  23. One thing that our regular GM always does with his villains (that Ive repeatedly told him) is that he always chooses to have us battle a single TBB without any cronies, which always result in us bunching up on him and killing him without much trouble. 10 Beastmen is a lot more dangerous than a single Chaos Champion.
  24. In my opinion: Every entity in a game must follow the exact same rule system NPCs must compete on the same terms as the players for the game to be fair and balanced If you bend the rules in your favor the players WILL notice, and they WILL feel like youre railroading them, and that it will end in the way you want it, no matter what they do.
  25. Im an Extroverted Introvert.. or was that an Introverted Extrovert?
