  1. oooh, yeah, Isle of Man racing ... the undisputed epicenter of bravery and foolhardiness. There was some interesting, unique fact about that place I can't remember ... something to do with banking, or sheep.
  2. Discreet PhysX isn't a thing anymore?
  3. Wait, so it's basically pointless on standard ATX ... and will barely upon barely fit inside micro ATX ... even less can I see the point of this card. Maybe a living room solution, but bragging rights are hard to come by with no one else but the dog around. I would be embarrassed 3000% to show off this card to any tech-minded friends.
  4. Wow, so strange, I just finished watching that movie. Favorite line this time: What do you think Du Jour, should we take him with us?
  5. Great year, which is why General Joe Colton, the original G.I. Joe, uses that number to access one of many secret weapon caches.
  6. Good luck. Wow, that background art style reminds me of old Larry Elmore's prolific D&D work.
  7. What's a Neu Grognard? The Young Guard? The Old Guard, of course, were Les Grognards. Ah, wow, learn something new everyday. The Grumblers. I thought grognard was another weird English combo like Middlesex or Bunbury. Had no idea, shamefully, they were French rapierists. Edit: oh, woops, the punlord beat me to the daily learning idiom thing. No problem, I accept your apology. er, that's not an idiom. I am an idiot, however.
  8. Oh, well of course, His Darkness is involved heavily in preventing biblical Kickstarter games from seeing the light of digital day. http://www.polygon.com/2014/3/25/5496396/abraham-game-makers-believe-they-are-in-a-fight-with-satan
  9. I, uh, watched The Dark Knight Rises ... Selina Kyle's ass-kickery was really the only redeeming quality.
  10. My god, they did it! The Last of Us is coming to Playstation 4 this summer!!
  11. And ... that is how ninjas unhitch a jackwagon.
  12. Bugs Bunny is a wabbit wogue. Elmer Fudd is clearly a paladin with a Sworn Enemy. Tweety Bird could be the chanter to Sylvester's hapless cipher. Obviously, Road Runner and Speedy Gonzales are monks with speed bonuses from Transcendant Suffering. Wile E. Coyote is a wizard without a grimoire, and Tasmanian Devil is a barbarian that can't turn off Wild Sprint.
  13. And drive competition. A trio of designs from Oculus, Sony, and Microsoft, might just elevate this from a niche peripheral.
  14. Haha, although I think parts of feng shui and aromatherapy do have practical benefits--a well-designed living space that smells good is more likely to be clean.
  15. That could be the first-ever Collector's Addition to any game I've seen.
  16. See what happens on No-update Tuesday. I love ice cream semantics, gelato is my personal favorite. In the off-chance you think you're doing right by buying a 24-pack of Snickers Ice Cream Bars ... don't. Too much really is too much.
  17. See, this appeals to me, the anti-social, non-multiplayer gamer. Actually, I had no idea what PvE even means ... Player Versus Environment. Evidently it describes the section of a game where I don't have to deal with humans. I can blow sh*t up and progress through the upgrades without getting shot at or attacked randomly by Some Guy In A Basement.
  18. Yeah, just read that PGGamer article. Interest level went from zero to about 48% ... which is huge. The "co-op game first and foremost" is what did it. And the character elements ... Although I still have no idea how to handle free-to-play ...
  19. Yeah, that whole "pattern recognition" thing was tactful and interesting. Life is so much more astonishing without all the answers. Except traffic. That will always suck and I will never get over it.
  20. Bragging rights and especially overcompensation for losing the console supply bid and desktop GPU price-to-performance battle both in the same year, seems like.
  21. Well that validates putting all my chips on Project Morpheus VR for Playstation. Since this thread was last active, I've lost interest in the Oculus ... I think because no emotion or soul seems to emanate from the design.
  22. If you're in to common sense. Me, I like the purest form of indignation only available with early adoption. Sweet, sweet complaining is best when fresh and deserved.
  23. I'm sorry, I have never once barged in here, but I am emboldened by twelve-yeear aged single malt to say UofA has the world's second-best space program in the universe! Anyway, good luck, looks like your team won't have much problems with those bulldogs. Wait, you like dogs but your mascot is a wild cat I'm sorry. Edit: wait, I believe the winner of this game faces our Aztecs.
  24. I knew it. God, I have the best ear for voices. Was half-watching TV while drinking Scotch and reading the forum, when I heard a distinctly Skyrim voice coming out of the TV during a local flooring company commercial. Had to look it up for 15 minutes, but it appears to be Jason Marsden. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q4OCMA8onPI http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tDwvmISfbdw
