Oh, no! What happened! No, don't tell me ... SHIELD was reduced to a small BUCKLER. I better see Cap 2 on Monday, before Tuesday's episode.

I had no idea black Irishmen even existed.

The mega dong eon. It was a turgid period.

I wish it were Tuesday, already, so I could watch the Unextended Edition of The Desolation of Smaug ... like, twice. You know what is completely bonkers, is that these two shots are of the same actor: The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey Captain America: The First Avenger

That is a pretty, pretty shot, but I can't figure out why the deep shadows across the water don't match up to anything onshore.

What you've been drinking lately.

Oh yeah, it's freaky fruity froo-froo Friday. Least that's what I'm saying to lessen the unmanly stigma. Sam Adams Cherry Wheat ale, to start, and then something called Angry Orchard hard cider, including 5% bottles of apple ginger, crisp apple, green apple, and elderflower--which is somehow related to apples, I am presuming. So far, the ginger is outstanding.- 530 replies

HP Lovecraft was an arse - EVERYONE ROLL FOR SAN LOSS!
ManifestedISO replied to Walsingham's topic in Pen-and-Paper Gaming
Oh, hmm ... chronic sanity. Clever term, I think. Or additionally the inability to "wake up" from chronic sanity, is depression. Video games, movies, and books seem to be the best way for me to shore up imagination, and thus alleviate lingering sanity. For a few moments, at least, I am the one leveling up and progressing in a positive direction. From the other thread, I should be thankful it's not excessive eating that pretends to do the same.- 54 replies

Saw that same McLaren roadcar on the freeway again ... if there are five of them in this whole county of three million, I'd be surprised. Had no markings for model designation, but was brand new, nice deep maroon color, strangely with a handicap tag and a small USMC insignia on the rear glass.

Well I didn't even recognize him, Wormtongue, Brad Dourif on SHIELD. I did recognizer the bits of TRON musical score they used to enhance the episode's outro preview for next week ... Disney reusing elements from unrelated universes, feels weird.

Great update, thank you. Put me down for a pre-order on the rune wheel, too. I don't know, but whoever was "still recording" has a sexy, sexy voice. And this from the GameCrate article just butters my lembas bread:

My Brazilian sister-from-another-mother made a delightful, uh, fortata ... freetata ... fretada--whatever the hell they are, with asparagii spears and kale, tons of cheese and eggs and delicious stuff. Woman is gourmet magic in the kitchen, so quick and skilled, it puts me in awe of some people's abilities.

oooh, yeah, Isle of Man racing ... the undisputed epicenter of bravery and foolhardiness. There was some interesting, unique fact about that place I can't remember ... something to do with banking, or sheep.

Discreet PhysX isn't a thing anymore?

Wait, so it's basically pointless on standard ATX ... and will barely upon barely fit inside micro ATX ... even less can I see the point of this card. Maybe a living room solution, but bragging rights are hard to come by with no one else but the dog around. I would be embarrassed 3000% to show off this card to any tech-minded friends.

Wow, so strange, I just finished watching that movie. Favorite line this time: What do you think Du Jour, should we take him with us?

Great year, which is why General Joe Colton, the original G.I. Joe, uses that number to access one of many secret weapon caches.

Good luck. Wow, that background art style reminds me of old Larry Elmore's prolific D&D work.

What's a Neu Grognard? The Young Guard? The Old Guard, of course, were Les Grognards. Ah, wow, learn something new everyday. The Grumblers. I thought grognard was another weird English combo like Middlesex or Bunbury. Had no idea, shamefully, they were French rapierists. Edit: oh, woops, the punlord beat me to the daily learning idiom thing. No problem, I accept your apology. er, that's not an idiom. I am an idiot, however.

Oh, well of course, His Darkness is involved heavily in preventing biblical Kickstarter games from seeing the light of digital day. http://www.polygon.com/2014/3/25/5496396/abraham-game-makers-believe-they-are-in-a-fight-with-satan

I, uh, watched The Dark Knight Rises ... Selina Kyle's ass-kickery was really the only redeeming quality.

My god, they did it! The Last of Us is coming to Playstation 4 this summer!!

Bugs Bunny is a wabbit wogue. Elmer Fudd is clearly a paladin with a Sworn Enemy. Tweety Bird could be the chanter to Sylvester's hapless cipher. Obviously, Road Runner and Speedy Gonzales are monks with speed bonuses from Transcendant Suffering. Wile E. Coyote is a wizard without a grimoire, and Tasmanian Devil is a barbarian that can't turn off Wild Sprint.
