  1. You have tested FAR more intently than I have. I'll trust your judgement.
  2. Well, I definitely didn't know there WAS a difference until it was pointed out. Once it was pointed out, it was reasonably visible. Personally, I'd've probably gone with Copper - Common, Silver - Rare, Gold - Epic, Angelic White - Legendary or some such thing. Keep the same degrees of filigree, though.
  3. The reason I would findit intuitive to have them off by default is when I see the word "may" I see it as something I should opt-into. Dunno if anyone else thinks that way.
  4. Aha! Potion of Secrets is Epic! And Flask of Force! And Catskin Leather!! AND GOZREH'S TRIDENT! Well, obviously Song of Hawkmoon is Epic. Oooh. Flask of Firestorm (which feels like it should have the Alchemical trait)... And that's all I've got. No Legendary, six epic, several rare, buncha common. For a side-by-side contrast of Epic vs. Rare, go to the Gallery, set Treasure to AVAILBLE, and check deck 1 items. The Orb of Shocking is Epic, and the Potion of Invisibility is Rare. Check the bottom right corner of each and you'll get a good visual. The top right (where the Questionmark is if you don't have the cards in question) is also subtly different.
  5. Dad blammit! Now I have to go through and see if I have any Epic cards. (*grumbleskim*)
  6. Currently, there are three P cards: Monster (Grindylow), Ally (Poog of Zarongel) and Blessing (Blessing of Zarongel). I don't believe that PDF includes Promo cards.
  7. Oooooh right. That's a "You may", isn't it? I haven't played Sajan yet (in PA). That's gonna be pretty critical when Class Deck Sajan is adding elemental damage with his Monk of the Four Winds role... If it's an intuitive (to me, anyway) interface, then it will default to NOT applying the Magic/Fire traits, so you would have to click to apply them.
  8. This card says, "Discard to add 1d4 to your Strength or Melee Combat check". When you cast a combat spell, you're no longer using your Strength or Melee skill. Edit: Misread... so you're saying it's weird that it worked on the Divine check. Right. Yes. I agree. B-)
  9. I hope you realize that's not how the quest mode is supposed to work? I feel that it's safe to assume that s/he does.
  10. There should be a black checkmark in the checkbox to the left of the power icon that shows that the power was selected (or that you began with it).
  11. Gold is Legendary, Silver is Rare, Bronze is Common(?). Black is to-be-unlocked-some-other-way (like Legendary Adventure Rewards, for example. So for example, in B Weapons, the Ranseur is copper-lined, and is common. Also in B Weapons, the Battleaxe +1 is silver-lined, and thus rare. The Nine Lives Stealer (Weapon in deck 4) is gold-lined, and is Legendary. If you see a blank card with a ? in the middle, that's a card that hasn't yet been unlocked. If it has a copper, silver, or gold lining, it's unlocked by buying chests. But if it's black, it unlocks some other way. The Samisen, Orik's Shield, and the Skinsaw Mask are obvious examples, and you unlock these by completing Adventures B, 1, and 2 respectively in Legendary mode. In B Blessings, they show Blessing of Milani and Blessing of Cayden Cailean. I have no idea how you unlock those. I asked once and never got a straight answer.
  12. That is seriously weird. It took me three tries to finish Approach to Thistletop on Heroic. I am NOT looking forward to Legendary.
  13. For people who like to pile on dice when they're reasonably sure they're on the last die roll of a Scenario, here's a chance to show off your pools. If you have better timing than I do, you can get a shot of the result, but I only managed to get one of the pool before rolling. This die-roll broke 60+ (I believe 63, but I don't remember).
  14. I see what you mean. But I don't run out of time much, so I'm happy to let Lem go in and acquire all the spells in 3 or 4 turns rather than let Ezren rush through and maybe miss a few Divines.
  15. Weird. Did anyone die in the attempt? (Grasping at straws here.)
  16. Incorrect. If you have a skill based on another skill (Arcane = Intelligence +2, for example), a check on that first skill counts as a check on the second skill as well. Cards that apply to the second skill apply to the check. Thats' why Lem can use a Troubadour to add a d6 his Arcane OR Divine checks to recharge spells (non-combat Charisma checks). Since the Fox doesn't specify non-combat, this should work. Edit: The RotR rulebook actually uses this exact example: If, on your character card, the skill you’re using refers to another skill, both skills count for the purpose of determining the type of check. For example, if you’re using the Arcane skill on a combat check, and your character card says that your Arcane skill is Intelligence +2, the check counts as both a combat Arcane check and a combat Intelligence check.
  17. Pretty much every sword, bow, warhammer, and non-spear polearm does, that I recall. Edit: Sorry. Misread. There are two weapons that say that. One is a mistake (Longbow +1, maybe?) and one is not (Horsechopper +1).
  18. But did it work when you started from scratch? And did you try applying the same cards in different order (i.e. start with the bow this time)? Nope! Went through it all about three times just to make sure I was seeing what I THOUGHT I was seeing, and it happened every time. I instead forwent the extra d4 and spanked the Villain righteously, if a bit less powerfully than I'd hoped.
  19. Huh. Yes I am. My handy dandy PZO6000-CardLists say I should have 5.
  20. I like Lem's Infinite Heals... Play Lem. Give him a heal or two. Use it. If it recharges, great. If not, the next spell you get, use Versatile Performance to swap it for heal, then heal yourself (hopefully getting that spell back into your deck). Repeat ad nauseum. Also, he's the best character to send to the Academy (or any location with lots of spells) because he's the only one who can generally acquire both Arcane AND Divine spells (and has a decent shot at Blessings). Even sending Kyra and Seoni at the same time doesn't guarantee that Kyra won't draw an Arcane spell or Seoni a Divine one. Lem is a self-supporting spell/blessing-acquiring fiend. I start him with two Cures and two Force Missiles, and he ends up doing ok.
  21. An "auto-succeed" button that skipped the animation, perhaps? I don't want it making choices for me, either.
  22. I just answered another thread where someone noticed that Disintegrate is missing from "Sins of the Saviors". I pointed out that ALL the spells (Raise Dead and Blizzard) are missing from AD5 in the Gallery. I shan't be worried 'til the AD itself is released.
