yeah bastilla was good and so was everyone else i think the reason people focus on her voice is because she is the most important character with a voice apart from malak and had the most lines. OK malak may have been a bit too stereotype for me, but everyon did a good job anyhow

Why does hades turn every thread into the same old must use d20 rules i used to enjoy these designer rambling threads until i read the following pages of it. I wouldn't complain if hades complained about something new each time but it is just to much like seeing the same arguement 55000 times(I dont know what to search for to find out how many times hades has started this arguement but i figure i'm pretty close with the figure) so say something new

I vote Mace cause he seems fairly in control and powerful, obi-wan out because emotional in ep 1 when qui-gon died, anakin out in a constant state of emotion, even when he saved luke it was for emotional reasons not because he was good and pure, luke also had difficulty taking advice from yoda and had insufficient control of his emotions and wasn't that powerful in a fight, he really is like obi-wan and anakin getting wiped in ep 2 by dooku only to get saved by yoda. and also you can't blame anakin's fall on the other jedi, everyone makes his own choice, obi-wan tried to train him and anakin never listened, anyhow yoda trained dooku and he turned to the darkisde but dooku trained qui-gon who remained on the lightside, qui-gon might have gotten my vote if i knew more about him, yoda is actually close to mace i am rather tied between them, but mace is cooler, yoda just wiser and more powerful, but may have been lacking a little in the taking action department

every fps is the same as every other fps token multiplayer, token levels of difficulty, token 2d bad guys, token 2d everyone as far as character goes, token great graphics for its time. all in all FPS games are just eye candy movies, the game with the biggest eye candy wins, the majority of gamers dont care bout a deep game, they just like pretty graphics and a game that they can try and own their buddies on

i hope the xboxers aren't voting on this that would be wrong just to annoy some pcers that dont have a dvd drive I do and i want ot get more use out of it so i want kotor 2 on DVD

this game is not a non jedi game buddy get over it move on and bug some other game devs actually go pollute lucasarts forums instead cause they are the ones that said to obsidian that the main guy had to be a jedi and also I dont't go on those forums so it will be a happier day for me if you go there, whinge to the party responsible ps are you someone's little sister, or just striking back cause your sister whinges so much you feel you have to whinge in turn to others.

I'd love a real cracking theme like a full on piece like the Duel of Fates for the final duel/fight just it starts off when we enter the room and we know this is going to be a tough one its got the cool music

I really hate to side with Hades on this one but I feel I must (nothing against Yah hades its just I don't agree with alot of what you talk about), There are ways they could create games within the starwars license that didn't solely revole around the Jedi. Look at Galaxies for one, as far as I know you can't become a jedi in it but it looks to be a good game none the less (I haven't played it since I am saving money for TSL and don't have Live). I just don't understand why they don't take more advantage of the other classes in the Starwars universe, it would be interesting if they made a game were one could become one of say five (just picked a number off of the top of my head) different classes without being forced (forgive the pun) to play a jedi. I am not exactly sure how they would go about it sicne I am not a developer but I am certian that it could be done to the same calibur as (or maybe even better than) KOTOR. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I agree to make a game about non-Jedi would be ok though it probably wont interest me that much. But Kotor is not the place for it, and the story style of kotor that relates often to the PC being a particular someone and having done particular things, having a great range of different possibilities for what the pc could be would make it that much harder, these games are always about particular characters. Do you understand I hope I said it right but the main thing is other games where the character is not the focus of the plot could allow for greater range but these games aren't it. Having said that they still allow for a great range within the limits of the story

actually i take it back anakin has more midichlorians but yoda is the most skilled and greatest jedi Anakin was never a true Jedi in my opinion

Darht vader as anakin had jedi training and anyhow palpatine and vader are sith which are just the other side of the coin from Jedi they aren't that different in abilities, except for force lightning and choke being used more often by the Sith

Just some extra info: the main reason for the fighting is that several systems are leaving the Republic and joining the Seperatists, though they are doing this under the manipulations of Palpatine through Dooku since he wants to have greater power he created the seperation as an excuse to manipulate the senate into turning him into an Emperor basically removing the democracy so he has total control.

next thing hades will ask why do you have to play as james bond in goldeneye and the other bond games or why we have to be a thief in Thief Dark Shadows and so on. The key reason we have to play as a Jedi is because that is what the story is based on, and considering there are going to be more different ways to be a Jedi then there is still variety. Every game with a character-driven story has to have limitations to who the character is, otherwise it is impossible to write a story that envelopes a character that could be anything from scout to jedi to wookie to Rancor, that game would doubtlessly get me less involved with the character as the story will be unable to develop the character.

how bout we call it kotor reloaded, seriously the slo-mo only ever was done right in the matrix movies, everything else is just a copy

it is really a selkath acting like a mandalorian he never takes the armour off and the armour has a built in translator that changes his speech

it would dountlessly do worse than lotr because lotr is based on some of the best selling books ever and has prolly one of the largest fanbases, whereas this would be seen as lotr wannabe and the makers would prolly make it that way, trying to do what peter jackson did and fall shotr as all imitators do, or it will be viewed as a movie based on a game which means just eye candy and not enough plot to carry the film
