What are you Playing Now? No really, tell us more...

According to @majestic, he was the drive behind Andromeda being less weird and more generic. So **** Hercules. -
What are you Playing Now? No really, tell us more...

I thought the first Mass Effect was ok and the others were disappointing. An incomprehensible army of machines so old they believe they predate organic life? Really cool. A janitorial AI gone rogue? Boring. Vanguard was fun to play though. Kevin Sorbo. -
Ukraine conflict - im Westen nichts Neues

I did, but ended up giving it away to a guy with a weird laugh and a girl who kept saying tuturu. -
Ukraine conflict - im Westen nichts Neues
PK htiw klaw eriF replied to Elerond's topic in Way Off-Topic
Well this was a ****ty thing to wake up to and it gets worse by the hour. I hope some sense hits everyone and this ends without thousands of bodies, but being hopeful seems too optimistic. On the brightside, if the invasion of Ukraine really is the Star Citizen of geopolitics, then that means someday Star Citizen will be released. -
In the recent speech Putin blamed Lenin for creating Ukraine and Stalin and Khrushchev for carving up parts of the Russian Empire to add to Ukraine. He then refers to the annexation of Ukraine as "decommunization", as it is undoing the actions of the Bolsheviks. It's more accurate to say that he wants to restore the Russian Empire than the USSR. I imagine that decommunization speech probably confused a lot of western (terminally online) people who are reevaluating their opposition or support of Putin.

Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous, Part 3
PK htiw klaw eriF replied to ShadySands's topic in Computer and Console
If you've got ToyBox, you can disable all mods except for TB and level a new character to 20. It sounds like the game doesn't account for Nature Mage having a different spellbook than Arcanist in regards to PrCs. If you've got Toybox, check to see if your Arcanist spellbooks are labeled differently. If that's the case, you can fix it by deleting the plain Arcanist spellbook and raising the CL of the Nature one to 18. I doubt Arcane Enforcer matters, but the way it calculates Exploits could be a factor. Ember is set up to blast the living **** out of enemies with fire rays, even without sneak attack her rays are brutal. Damning souls to Hell doesn't really fit her character, but just pretend she's shooting Heavenfire Rays and bringing salvation through fire. As @majestic said, cackle plus hexes is really powerful to the point your whole team can benefit from rerolls. She also gets off-heals and some powerful enchantment spells, so there's always that if blasting doesn't do it for you. -

Yeah, they made it incredibly easy with recent releases where it feels like no effort at all.

The games are ok, but the shows are really bad. Unless you realize that the whole gotta catch em all was just Professor Oak getting Ash out of the way so he could **** Ash's mom. Some say it builds character, who is to say if it's luck or missing out on a milestone? It really is, I think s3 remains something I periodically think about. Too bad the US version edited out Beelzemon pointing guns at kids.

I've meet one online who was a cool guy. For the most part though, bronies in my age group either became girls or white supremacists. A 50% chance of running into a nazi is not good odds at all. It's been consistently bad. I think I had some guy threaten to kill me over saying Buffy was dull and repetitive. But whom amongst us haven't had someone threaten us with murder over the internet?

Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous, Part 3
PK htiw klaw eriF replied to ShadySands's topic in Computer and Console
Given one of the mythic paths is THE SWARM, I think the obsession may be something other than fear. -
My to do list is already massive, I don't know if I can fit the hack frauds into it. I remember hearing a joke about someone who had somehow only seen The Boss Baby comparing every single movie they hear about to it. I guess a lot of fandumb is like that, but the Whedonites (at least online) are probably the worst I've encountered. Even worse than Harry Potter or MLP. The forum software ate this post twice, it must hate our Aztec gym gods.

It's not wrong so much as it is unintuitive. Technically you are multiplying, you're just multiplying the roll rather than the result. -

Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous, Part 3

Planning on going on a Trickster run built around crit abuse. Azata was fun, but honestly it felt like Aivu's interruptions took the place of the mythic options I saw pop up in dialogue. And it really fell off in the last act. -
I don't get that reference. Admittedly, I don't watch RLM. The Firefly thing is there to slight Firefly. Maybe half the time I see Cowboy Bebop being recommended, it is as an anime Firefly. Which really sells Cowboy Bebop short, even without considering that it arrived before Firefly, it's much different and just much better. Really the only commonality is both being space westerns, but equating both based on shared subgenre is like equating The Witcher and GoT because both are dark fantasy. I'm just booty blasted and I will fite anyone irl over this. Time to spend 10000 years at the gym.

Eh, usually I just ignore Netflix recs and search for what I want. Back Street Girls: Gokudolls is probably worse. While I haven't seen it, I grew up with hip-hop in the early aughts so I don't think it would be much I haven't heard. Kanye is inescapable, between production and features he has been everywhere and continues to be one of the biggest figures in music, and even discounting that he is constantly doing stuff to make waves (most of which reflect very badly on him). The problem is that the dude is really insecure and somehow manages to look like a loser when he's winning.

Since I've rewatched JoJo, I've decided to rewatch some other shows as well. First is Cowboy Bebop, which really holds up well. Everything, and I do mean everything, about it works so well to deliver a show that is damn near perfect noir cyberpunk space western. Firefly is a cheap imitation, this show is the real deal.

Willy's Wonderland Nicolas Cage doesn't talk for an hour and a half while working as a janitor. I enjoyed it immensely.
